17/01/2026: A touch of exoticism and authenticity in Brignoles. This isn't a tourist trap. It's a culinary journey. The welcome was warm and friendly. We enjoyed chicken Mi Xao, fresh pineapple dessert, red wine from the Var region (yes, really!), and excellent coffee. We'll be back to try other delicious dishes.

26/02/2026: We celebrated my father's 60th birthday and my 30th by booking the entire establishment and rooms exclusively, and everything was perfect ✨ A peaceful setting, cozy rooms, and an excellent meal: Bresse chicken with morels, pluma sausage, and homemade dessert... a real treat 🤤 Kudos to Océane for the outstanding service 👏 An address we won't forget and where we'll gladly return!

26/02/2026: Excellent restaurant! We had lunch this Saturday on the shaded terrace, a truly delightful moment with my partner. We highly recommend the chicken and the melt-in-your-mouth beef cheek: divine! And what can we say about the frozen lemon soufflé! The smiling chef even provided impeccable service, explaining her fresh produce and carefully selected wines from independent winemakers. A restaurant well worth a visit; we will be back for a getaway soon, staying at your cozy hotel. Thank you for this wonderful experience and congratulations on your hard work!

12/03/2026: Here's our experience of an evening spent at Gruppi. The room is small with very busy and poorly laid-out decor. As a result, once we'd contorted ourselves to find a seat, we were stuck at tables that were too small and cramped by the table legs. There was no drinks menu, so no prices were displayed! As for the "food," it's hard to imagine anything worse: messy presentation, (industrial) sauce sold as an extra, and gargantuan portions that were difficult to finish, leaving no room for dessert. We won't be going back.

06/02/2026: After our seaside getaway, we headed to the Haut-Var region, and what a wonderful place it was! The rooms were spacious, very clean, and comfortable, with high-quality bedding. The Provençal decor adds a lot of charm and contributes to the hotel's warm atmosphere.

20/12/2025: The restaurant at La Bastide du Calalou is a true success. Refined cuisine with Provençal flavors, fresh and local produce, and beautifully presented dishes. An excellent restaurant to discover during a stay in the Verdon.
