14/09/2024: Que dire de plus que tout ce qui a déja été dit ? La patrone (et serveuse) est d'une énergie et efficacité incroyable. Elle gère toute la salle, le bar et la terrasse à elle seule avec gentillesse et bons conseils. Le Chef qui n'est autre que son époux est également seul en cuisine. Il s'active en silence sans aucun temps mort, on se demande comment il fait pour sortir d'aussi bons mets en si peu de temps, car TOUT est fait maison... (essayez la salade de rouget, puis les rognons, un véritable régal).
Les tarifs sont également très abordables pour la qualité des repas. Vous pouvez vous y rendre les yeux fermés. Merci à ce charmant couple...

06/09/2024: Excellent surprise. Small bistro that doesn't look like much, but is very excellent. The welcome is very friendly, the menu of the day with fresh produce. Home cooking is, on certain dishes, revisited by the chef. The octopus was excellent as were the other dishes. the lunch menu is reasonably priced for the content.
I recommend this restaurant in Vaison la Romaine.

It was a great experience, the chef is an absolutely professional and friendly person and the meal was perfect. I highly recommend the Grands Bateaux de Provence.

15/09/2024: Although on this strong mistral day we could not enjoy the pretty terrace, we discovered a chic and cozy interior. The promise of the card is there, refined and delicate. Well done to the chef! Attentive and smiling staff. An enchanted gourmet break, to discover on Ste Cécile les vignes.
We will come back.

27/09/2024: Came here as a party of 6 on a very rainy night without a reservation. The team were wonderful in getting us seated under a set of umbrellas. One noticed we were getting dropped on and kindly moved us without us even asking. The service and food were both amazing! We even contemplated going back the next night.
When we're back in Avignon, we will definitely return here!

12/11/2024: A warm restaurant where you feel at home! The servers are competent and attentive, and the boss is very friendly. I tasted a sublime duck tartare accompanied by an onion and fig compote, followed by a perfectly cooked lamb fillet with a red fruit jus reduction. To finish, an excellent assortment of cheeses, all for only 38 euros. Exceptional value for money! I will come back with pleasure and highly recommend this place!

02/12/2024: I love Italy so I wanted to try aragostines. With vanilla they didn't have vanilla at all, it wasn't even a cream but a compact block of cream, super sweet, a mixture of sweetened condensed milk and white chocolate. Frankly, very disappointed.

19/09/2024: Ojalá tuviera algunas fotos para agregar de la parte delantera del restaurante ya que las pocas que se han publicado no muestran la bonita zona que realmente es. Nos sentamos en una de las mesas del patio y el ambiente era maravilloso.
El personal era amable y era paciente con dos turistas que no hablan francés.
El menú era lo suficientemente grande como para ofrecer algo para todos y elegimos algunos platos para compartir. Disfrutamos de todo lo que pedimos.
Para cuando salimos el restaurante estaba lleno, y el interior tenía un ambiente igual de agradable.
Recomendaría Le Barrio a cualquiera que busque una buena cena en Aviñón.
