01/06/2026: On our way to Orléans, off the main road, we stumbled upon this authentic restaurant. Dining was only available on the terrace, and there was one table without chairs that was still "free." Two chairs were quickly conjured up, and the menu was presented to us: three courses, with four variations of each course to choose from, all for €38. I had sautéed lamb with fresh vegetables and mushrooms for my main course. Excellent. The entrée and dessert rounded off the meal perfectly. A Chablis was recommended as an accompaniment—a very fine wine. In short: very good food, direct and genuine service in a beautiful location.

06/06/2026: I tried this restaurant for the first time since the change of ownership. I ordered a Savoyard burger and a Kinder Bueno mousse. I found the service efficient and quick. The organization and desire to do well are evident, and you feel very welcome, especially since the restaurant has recently been renovated. Areas for improvement, in my opinion: For the burger: I noticed a commitment to using fresh, homemade ingredients, which is noteworthy and much appreciated. I found the filling flavorful and beautifully presented. However, I wasn't as fond of the burger bun, which I found too dry and prone to breaking. It could be slightly softer, which would reduce the dryness when eating it. For the Kinder Bueno mousse: the mousse itself is good, not too sweet. It has a lovely creaminess; the mousse has clearly been well chilled, and you can tell. For the Kinder Bueno pieces placed on top, I would recommend adding them last because in the refrigerator, the creamy filling inside the Kinder Bueno solidifies and becomes almost solid, which detracts from the enjoyment of eating them, which are known for their creamy, gooey texture. Regarding the restrooms, which I also visited, I found them to be easily accessible for people with reduced mobility and that there were dedicated restrooms, which is excellent. As for handwashing, I found it difficult to press the tap to get the water flowing. This is even more challenging when your hands are soapy; it could almost be dangerous. Overall, I am very satisfied with my experience. Thank you to the whole team!

03/08/2026: Excellent value for money! The service was impeccable, with welcoming, efficient, and attentive staff. The dishes were generous, flavorful, and entirely homemade, which really makes a difference. My only slight criticism was the pasta dish; I would have preferred it served in a deep plate with less pasta but more sauce, as it was a bit pasty. This is a shame, hence the four stars instead of five. However, there were plenty of morels on the plate, which I certainly didn't mind 😊. My wife and I had a wonderful time in a very pleasant atmosphere. We highly recommend this restaurant!

30/06/2026: We stayed overnight on June 21st. Despite the heatwave and with a powerful fan, we had a good night's sleep. We were welcomed by a woman who was very dedicated to her work from our arrival until the generous breakfast. The restaurant's terrace was nicely shaded. The service, the food, everything was perfect! The owner was also very present and helpful. We received excellent advice and will definitely return.

The restaurant offers a very warm atmosphere with the small river flowing right by. The owner is very friendly and engaging, and you'll enjoy a pleasant conversation if you have the chance to chat with him or the rest of the team. The menu offers a good selection at reasonable prices, with generous and well-balanced portions. I highly recommend it, as well as the bar next door, if you want to have a great time with family, as a couple, with friends, or for special events.

20/01/2026: Beautiful room, recently renovated. Everything is brand new. Very quiet. The receptionist was very attentive. I'll definitely stay at this hotel again on my next trip. Secure parking, great.

18/01/2026: A warm welcome from our hostesses after a short stay. The room is comfortable and quiet with a courtyard view. The breakfast was plentiful. There is a wardrobe but no shelves for storing clothes. This should be considered when it is replaced. E.S.
