A waitress who is always smiling, pleasant and very kind! The cook too!
The view of the Tholon, as well as the calm, allows you to have a great time.
The dishes, copious and quality, were perfect!

15/08/2024: We sat comfortably on the terrace, which really enhanced the atmosphere. No idea what it was like inside. All tables were occupied when we arrived, but after waiting about 30 minutes we were able to take a seat. Service very friendly, food fine but not worth the detour. Starter, main course and bottle of wine for two people cost 70 euros.

18/08/2024: Nous avons été très agréablement surpris par ce restaurant. L’accueil est très agréable, avec pleins d’attentions. Les galettes et crêpes sont excellentes et avec une petite touche d’originalité. Notre petit fils a adoré sa crêpe au suc’ « la meilleure crêpe qu’il ait jamais mangé ». Nous reviendrons avec plaisir!

27/08/2024: Bar Restaurant popular, in the best sense of the word. Lots of locals who come to play and have a drink, and tourists, for example coming from the nearby Fabuloserie. Simple cuisine and very abundant salads, croque monsieur's, puff pastries. French toast dessert with ice cream is killer!

The rooms are comfortable, the restaurant very good and all the staff friendly and professional.
A quick stay for me but very pleasant!

01/12/2024: I don't really like people making fun of me. I prefer to be told "no, I'm no longer serving at that time" rather than being given a bogus excuse of "I'm keeping the table for the bar" when there isn't a cat in Vezelay.
Another trader who will complain about not making figures.
22/10/2024: Very friendly welcome, small terrace in the sun... A beautiful little place to enjoy a fruit juice or a coffee.

19/09/2024: For lunch yesterday, I chose a Chablisienne ham with new potatoes. Very disappointed with this dish: the ham was grilled and very dry, the sauce good but served sparingly, the accompaniment very sparse (2 small potatoes and two pieces of an undercooked vegetable that I couldn't make to recognize). The setting is very beautiful. The correct service, nothing more. But maybe I was unlucky?

05/01/2025: Nous avons passé un bon moment avec des amis au restaurant du Canal. Le menu à 15,50€ est convenable et de bon rapport qualité prix. Un bémol: nous avons été installés sur un petite table de 2 alors que nous étions 3, dommage. Le service est agréable et souriant.
27/12/2024: Superbe expérience, tellement bien que nous y sommes allé deux fois la même semaine.
Rapport qualité prix imbattable dans la région. Service et accueil impeccable. Produits frais et très bien cuisinés. Nous recommandons à 200%

31/03/2024: For our Easter weekend. Very pretty place. We chose a cottage for 2 people with a dining area. The Squirrel lodge. A very cozy place. Spacious, pleasant, friendly, clean. Little touches from our host. Breakfast included in our rental. Very hearty. To share with other guests. Knowledge, humor, friendliness. All a very pleasant set. Don't miss this place.
