The restaurant decor is rather cold...you don't want to linger, no atmosphere or warmth. It's not the same as when we were used to the previous owners, but the food is good, which is the main thing.

Go there, it's worth the detour, superb pizzas made in a wood-fired oven and a magnificent setting. Thanks to the manager. I would say the best pizza in Auxerre without any hesitation. 27/01/2026: Fantastic crêperie! I go there often, with family and friends, and it's always a pleasure. The crêpes are excellent, both savory and sweet; there really is something for everyone. And the staff is lovely, always with little touches that make all the difference.

05/07/2025: But what a day... truly blissful... and for that, THANK YOU. We started with lunch at the mill where vegetarians, vegans, and meat lovers enjoyed themselves together thanks to our attentive hosts who told us about their ecological and very involved approach, which we can only support. Then we discovered the farm and the animals where everyone lives in harmony: peacocks, hens, roosters, chicks, dogs, cats, horses, ponies, cows, sheep, goats, billy goats, pigs, rabbits, guinea pigs, geese, and donkeys. A walk with the dog "Wago", the goat Barnabé, and the little boy Aloïs, who adopted us and made this moment enchanting and full of tenderness and laughter. And a big thank you for the birthday candle... it was such a kind gesture. See you soon.

19/10/2025: We had dinner last night at Vieux Tilleul. A very, very nice surprise, the snail casserole with oyster mushrooms was a treat, as were the main dishes and desserts. Very good wines. All for a reasonable price. Not to be missed, truly excellent.

17/11/2025: We ate there this summer. Arriving quite late, around 2 pm, we were kindly seated on the terrace. The wait was short, and the service was very friendly, pleasant, and relaxed. The dishes were delicious and approved by everyone (there were four of us: a teenager, a child, an elderly person, and myself), enjoyed by all ages. Please don't change a thing. It feels so good to eat simple, tasty food in beautiful places that still exude our history and culinary traditions. Thank you.

23/01/2026: I stopped because there was a McDonald's and that's what I wanted. The rest area is clean, and so is the store. I'm giving it 3.5 stars because there's one very annoying issue: in the women's restroom, the hygiene bins aren't secure. I found myself in a stall where the bin lid was open, which wasn't pleasant. I closed the lid, but more hygienic bins would be welcome. On the other hand, kudos for the coat/bag hook; you don't find them everywhere.

18/09/2024: We used to visit the restaurant every year for a superb gastronomic experience. We were aware of the change to a Bistrot format and decided to give it a try because good bistrot food can be excellent also. The ambiance is still good although the music was a little loud and intrusive and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. The wine list was excellent. The food though was just mediocre, nothing had any flavour and all dishes were underseasoned. My fillet steak was a nice piece of meat cooked quite well but arrived swimming in a watery gravy with boiled potatoes and a coarse carrot puree. This was supposed to be a wine sauce. My partners meal was similarly unappetising and tasteless. There are much better bistrots in Chablis and at lower prices. We wont be returning sadly. Our accommodation told us the owners were looking for a new chef so maybe things will improve.

13/09/2024: C'est un bel endroit, et nous avons déjeuné un dimanche de marché sur la terrasse bien ombragée,très bien installés. Les plats , quelque peu régionaux, sont bons , la carte des vins est belle, mais le service manque un peu de rondeur, car il manquait une mignardise avec le café et d'en avoir fait la réflexion m'a amené une réponse sèche et peu commerciale.

26/09/2024: I stayed at the gîte during my stay, a quiet and relaxing place, the place has a large garden which must be pleasant on sunny days. Very warm welcome, good value for money meal. I recommend this place.

04/11/2025: Absolutely delicious! I wasn't familiar with the area and stumbled upon this restaurant on TripAdvisor—a real gem. We had a vegetarian burger (even though I eat everything) and it was fantastic. Thank you to the chefs, the warm welcome, and the excellent service. Highly recommended! (Be warned, it gets very busy!)
