04/09/2026: The crepes were very generously filled and absolutely delicious! I love French cuisine, especially crepes, and these were a real treat. The staff were very welcoming and friendly; it's a place not to be missed for a great meal. I'll definitely be back.

26/07/2026: The gentleman, who was of a certain age, gave us a very pleasant and helpful welcome. However, I wasn't impressed with the galettes, which were dry and uninteresting for the price. We were disappointed... a shame.

28/08/2026: We were just passing through the area in early August, and what a wonderful discovery! If I could have, I would have packed this restaurant in my suitcase when I left, we enjoyed it so much! We discovered eggs meurette, which we had never tried before, and it was a very pleasant surprise. Everything was delicious, and we had a fantastic time. A big thank you also to the service: impeccable, friendly, and truly welcoming. I especially want to highlight the attention paid to my food allergies. They really took the time to help me choose suitable dishes, with great kindness and without ever making me feel "difficult." And that is truly appreciated! If we're ever in the area again, we will definitely be back. By far the best restaurant we ate at during our stay. An address we would gladly have kept in our suitcases!

19/02/2026: It's not just the shutters that are old; the dining room, kitchen, and toilets are too. It's like stepping back in time to the 1950s. We were a group of ten, completely alone in the room. If we hadn't come, there would have been zero customers. It was a Sunday lunchtime. The crepes are simple and tasty, but they arrive in dribs and drabs. And to top it all off, the bill was impossible to decipher, requiring us to pay for about twenty crepes or ice cream. We had to pay for an extra crepe to speed up the process. The staff were very nice, but I think they should find another line of work.

08/09/2026: A group of seven, we received a very warm welcome and were served excellent food. We particularly enjoyed the ham with Chablis sauce, the baked apple with caramel ice cream and whipped cream, and the "Le Saint Bris" white wine from Coulonges La Vineuse. A short detour after visiting Guédelon Castle or Ratilly Castle (which are not far away) makes for a pleasant time in this country bistro. Keep it up!

12/09/2026: A delightful discovery! Passing through the area, we stumbled upon this inn for dinner. We enjoyed delicious dishes prepared by a friendly chef and served by a very professional young woman. If you're ever in Carisey, don't hesitate!

15/09/2026: We had a wonderful dinner outdoors. The food was excellent, especially the chicken supreme and the pork belly... absolutely delicious. Our only slight regret was the long wait; the charming lady who served us could have been assisted so we could have ordered dessert and cheese... but oh well! We had a great time.

06/09/2026: A particularly unpleasant and incomprehensible experience. We arrived at a nearly empty restaurant. The woman seated us at a table, without ever mentioning that ordering food was mandatory to stay. So, we sat down and waited for her to take our order. When she returned, we told her we simply wanted drinks. Only then did she tell us that wasn't possible; we had to order food. Then she ran off without another word. If this is the establishment's policy, why not announce it as soon as we were seated? It would have taken exactly ten seconds, and we could have simply turned around and left. But no: we were allowed to sit down, wait, and then we were refused service once we were finally seated. And the most shocking thing was the way she handled it. Instead of calmly explaining the situation, the woman rushed off with an extremely disdainful and unprofessional attitude. It was all the more incomprehensible given that the restaurant was empty. Turning away two customers who simply wanted drinks, without even bothering to properly inform them beforehand, frankly demonstrates a rather peculiar sense of hospitality. We simply came to enjoy a quiet moment. We left with the feeling that we had been a nuisance. A minimum of politeness, communication, and respect for the customer would have been more than enough.

19/05/2026: We had a meal today with my son and daughter. We were delighted. The meal was excellent from start to finish. The welcome was warm. The waiter was lovely. What more could you ask for? I highly recommend it. Especially if you're passing through Vézelay, don't hesitate.

He listened to us, adapted to our needs, and quickly found solutions for us. He is very accommodating; you feel special and pampered by him. His team is fantastic, kind, and discreet. True professionals, the kind you rarely find, at a more than competitive price. We were delighted with his menu; everyone thoroughly enjoyed it.
