15/05/2026: Luxurious rooms. Hearty breakfast with good local products. Warm welcome. A little disappointed by the culinary quality of the dinners and the prices; 30 euros for a plate of pasta and two scoops of ice cream is expensive!

02/10/2026: Two nights with dinner and breakfast included, shared with a group of high school students. Easy access by bus, on-site parking. Warm welcome, good food, comfortable rooms. A very good hostel. Don't hesitate to stay here if you want to explore the area (lots to see).

05/10/2026: We found the welcome particularly cold and unfriendly, with one of the staff members who seemed genuinely unpleasant. For a restaurant with this reputation, we expected more attention and friendliness. The food was good but not exceptional. We had high expectations coming here given the reviews and accolades, and unfortunately, the experience really fell short.

03/10/2026: Back to the future!!! Excellent, high-quality cuisine with a lot of effort put into it, but a kitschy atmosphere. The decor needs a complete overhaul: garlands, plastic flowers, wallpaper, wobbly tables, pictures held up by pom-poms, etc. The advertised menu is incomplete due to missing ingredients, and the wine list has limited selections by the glass, some of which are even sold out. For a restaurant that aspires to be fine dining, this needs a serious rethink. The prices are a bit high. A pleasant culinary experience, but I won't be returning.

06/10/2026: Lovely cafe at the top of the Col. Stunning views, delicious food, and friendly staff! We went there twice while visiting the area as it was hard to find places open in October in this area and it did not disappoint either time.

03/11/2026: Outrageous price for what was offered. A fondue for two where the portion was barely enough for one person, and I'm not exaggerating. A charcuterie platter for two at €9 per person with practically nothing on it; you could see the white of the plate through the charcuterie. The wine was very mediocre, and they refused to change it or even offer a discount. First and last time at this restaurant with the current owner.

08/09/2026: We've been coming to this region for 30 years, and this is the first time we've discovered a restaurant that offers something truly original. This one, which is only open for two months during the summer, offers Greek-Armenian-Lebanese-Italian-French cuisine… Yes, it's possible! 😉 The lady of the house cooks, and the gentleman waits on the table. It's delicious, it's fresh, it's original… You feel like you're visiting friends who have a terrace with a breathtaking view of the lake and mountains… Be warned, reservations are recommended, as there are only a few tables… But honestly, if you're looking for creativity, I highly recommend it!

25/08/2026: An unusual place, exceptional cuisine, and unbeatable value for money. The owner serves (with his humor and vast knowledge), while the owner herself is in the kitchen, bringing her gentle touch and expertise. Reservations are essential, and be prepared to wait if it's full (it's truly worth it).

14/05/2026: Passing through the area, we followed the reviews and booked a table at Le Fournil. We enjoyed some excellent wood-fired pizzas! The entire menu looked tempting; it was hard to choose. The owner is incredibly welcoming. Thank you for the delicious food and the lovely place!

09/09/2026: It had been a long time since I'd had such a good burger in a restaurant! I ordered the Bleu d'Auvergne burger and my friend had the mushroom sauce burger, and they were both delicious! You could tell the ingredients were fresh and specially selected for their quality. And we were told everything was homemade. They even had fries made with both regular and sweet potatoes. On top of that, the kitchen was open until 9:30 pm, later than any other restaurant in town, which meant we could eat even later. I highly recommend it.

26/09/2026: The pizzas were quite average. Very disappointed by the beef tartare... what a terrible idea to add so much tapenade, it completely ruined the taste of the meat! No information about the carafe of wine (only 50cl). The waitresses were friendly, but the service was slow, the terrace was too crowded, and there were large, bothersome dogs. The pianist was a great idea; he deserves an extra star!
