09/08/2024: Simple dishes mixing French cuisine and Alpine specialties, very warm welcome, fair prices and as a bonus a great view of the majestic Valgaudemar massifs. Great!

- did not make an effort to save us 2 places in the blazing summer sun even though it was possible: one of us was the victim with a significant nosebleed directly related

26/08/2024: Superb mountain view. The prices are a little excessive. Small pots of mayonnaise expired for 2 months will be served to you with your plate of fries for €8.50. But we are reassured by the comments of the waitress who tells us that there is no risk. Sure, but it's still illegal. Very nice staff but visibly amateurs who do not feel concerned by HACCP standards, the waitresses pass each other on the same tables, it is therefore a waste of time and efficiency, most certainly due to a lack of organization of the management, who in my opinion, is the captain of the boat. Dluo or Dlc, this remains illegal in restaurants, no offense.

Welcome by the owner with EXTRAORDINARY kindness and sense of business!
There were 7 of us with 3 children, the children's games available were perfect for parents to have a relaxing time!
we ate magnificent meat grilled in the brazier in full sun.
So yes of course they are not connected to running water but it is announced from the start and if you have a drop you are allowed to drink it! It is not their fault but that of the ARS.
Don’t hesitate to take a GRAND CRÈME, you will enjoy it!
Looking forward to coming back soon!

14/09/2024: Great restaurant in Ceillac, great welcome by the owner who prepared a great meal for us, pleasant place, beautiful paintings upstairs depicting life in the past, we love everything, the only downside is the waiter should have a smile with a little more kindness.
11/09/2024: Very good restaurant in Ceillac; the atmosphere is pleasant in the room located upstairs made of small spaces. The cuisine is refined and excellent. The menu is simple but everything is very well cooked, and the price-quality ratio is good. The service is impeccable. We wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant.

Very warm welcome, extraordinary view! It really makes you want to come back.
28/03/2024: We had lunch in this somewhat isolated restaurant at the top of the Peynier and what a nice surprise!
The food is quality, there were 7 of us and we were all delighted with our dishes.
The staff is super friendly and the place too (the interior is not very big if the weather is bad but there is a nice outdoor terrace)
I recommend this restaurant if you are in Vars because seen from the terrace it is also very nice!

07/09/2024: We received a lovely welcome. Be careful there is still no pizza. Remember to point this out because customers may be surprised and disappointed, on the other hand the croque monsieur and artichoke board was a good surprise!! To share with 2 minis because it is very bulky.
03/09/2024: No longer a pizzeria (since July 2024), yet they haven’t taken down pizza photos nor the word pizzeria from the menu. The rest of the food is overpriced and served in little quantity.
The 17 euros goat salad is served with very little goat cheese and hard parts of the salad. The salad accompanying my plate was ultra salty.
For desert, the chocolate mousse is good but twice too big.

31/08/2024: We stopped to sleep at the restaurant hotel, we had a very good dinner, we liked the place, the atmosphere and the food were great, the only thing to highlight was an error in the water service, they brought us Evian, which is paid for, which we had not ordered, but without importance. It was 6.5 euros. Otherwise very good. Also highlight the comfort of the hotel.

05/09/2024: Vale la pena conocerlo... el entorno es absolutamente idílico, y la terraza/jardín para quedarse horas. El servicio es discreto, amable y eficaz. Precios altos, cosa razonable dado el sitio donde está, lejos de todo. Recomendable al 100%.
01/09/2024: Mi dispiace dover fare una recensione negativa perché da anni questo rifugio è meta dei giri in moto del nostro club, ma oggi l’esperienza è stata molto negativa. A pranzo era disponibile esclusivamente la griglia, i tre commensali vegetariani hanno ricevuto il “contorno’ del piatto di carne al prezzo di €25, e, forse perché eravamo sette a tavola, i piatti erano comunque meno abbondanti rispetto a quelli degli altri tavoli. Alla fine con qualche bottiglia di acqua e tre caffè abbiamo speso €228.Consiglio di prevedere un picnic oppure di scendere a Ailefroide piuttosto.

We felt at home with the pleasure of being served "like kings" in this charming garden. From the aperitif to the dessert everything was delicious and plentiful for a successful Birthday. I recommend this excellent address in this magnificent place
which is the Fort of Mont Dauphin.

29/08/2024: Etablissement sans prétention en bord de route, sans chichi ni decoration. 1 plat du jour et 1 menu tous excellents et faits maison. Le patron s'occupe de tout de l'accueil prevenant, à la cuisine, en passant par le service impeccable. Prix imbattables. Allez--y!
