22/03/2026: Although we hadn't made a reservation and all the restaurants (including this one) were fully booked that evening, the owner managed to accommodate us by finding a solution. In the end, we didn't regret being turned away elsewhere, as the evening was such a success! It's a friendly, family-run establishment with a very pleasant, down-to-earth atmosphere. The raclette was excellent and, above all, very generous. For dessert, the French toast-style brioche was initially offered with salted caramel, but the chef kindly agreed to serve us homemade chocolate sauce at our request; we greatly appreciated this gesture. A very good address that we will definitely remember for our next visits to Vars.

29/04/2026: Our absolute favorite place to stay in Serre-Chevalier! We've been coming back every winter for several years now, and the welcome is always impeccable. Regular guests are truly pampered; a little something for my birthday awaits us in our room each time—it's so sweet. The breakfasts are excellent, the dinners very good, and the extras make all the difference: afternoon tea, swimming pool, sauna, and a very enjoyable weekly guitar concert. The family rooms are perfect for a ski holiday. We wouldn't change it for the world!

19/02/2026: Hello, I knew the area but not this hotel. We had a group snowshoeing trip and received a very warm welcome. The meals were excellent, the rooms had beautiful views and were very clean. The food was high quality and plentiful, and to top it all off, the staff were pleasant and the owners always had a smile on their faces. We'll be back! Charly, Nature et Provence group

16/03/2026: The meals were well-suited to the situation. Simple and hearty, served in a pleasant setting with efficient service. However, to get a drink, you had to carry your order to the bar (wearing ski boots). Not ideal for a large group, especially considering the prices should justify a minimum level of service.

30/03/2026: We were looking forward to discovering this restaurant in La Grave for a nice evening with friends. Upon arriving a little early for our reservation, we were met with a rude awakening: the waitress told us to wait outside (in the snow) with all the politeness of a prison guard. Returning a few minutes later, we were seated. The same unfriendly waitress, visibly exasperated by even the slightest question, took our order. The raclette arrived, along with its side dish. A pleasant surprise: everything was very good. However, we were subjected to unpleasant service throughout the evening, which really spoiled the experience. We won't be going back. What a shame! The setting and the food were worth it.

15/05/2026: An incredible experience! The pizzas were unbeatable value for money; it's rare to see such generous portions, especially wood-fired pizzas. We had a fabulous strawberry cake for our son's 7th birthday. I highly recommend this restaurant.

27/04/2026: We ordered a charcuterie board with our aperitifs, but it arrived after we'd finished our drinks a while ago, and the waiter didn't apologize despite my comment. The service was very slow; luckily, we weren't fully booked. The pizza dough needed to be cooked longer; it was soggy. When it came time for dessert, the waiter brought us to the wrong table (it happens...). The tiramisu we ordered wasn't really tiramisu, and the ice cream was the size of a teaspoon with loads of whipped cream. The price was relatively high for the quality and service offered.

21/03/2026: Based on the reviews, I decided to embark on a culinary journey. I'm a big fan of Indian food. I was surprised by the very sweet taste of the chicken tikka masala and the flavor of the vegetable rice. The welcome and service were excellent, but it wasn't to my taste, except for the cheese naan, which was delicious.
