26/05/2026: The hotel is well located in the historic center of Briançon, making it easy to explore the old town and enjoy the superb view from the square. The staff is friendly and welcoming. However, several aspects were disappointing: We were not informed of the step at the entrance to our room, which is genuinely dangerous. The breakfast is also far too expensive for the quality offered; there are no local products, and overall it's quite mediocre!

05/10/2026: The welcome wasn't very warm, my smoothie was very sweet, we arrived at 10:30 pm, knowing that the restaurant closes at midnight, the terrace was closed even though there were still people inside, in short, lots of inconsistencies!

24/08/2026: I ordered raclette, which was served with only one slice of cured ham, one slice of cooked ham, one slice of rosette sausage, and a dressed salad. There were no condiments, and the piece of cheese served for three was ridiculously small. I had to order an extra €5 for charcuterie. Very disappointed, I don't recommend it and I won't be going back. The restaurant across the street is much better and offers more generous portions for the same price. Just so you know.

22/06/2025: Good hotel in a strategic location for us in the French Alps. With 58 Dutch biker friends we were very hospitably received here with good rooms, good breakfast and very friendly staff. Also the shower was for me one of the best I have ever had anywhere. We will gladly come back here again.

15/02/2026: A warm and friendly welcome awaited us upon arrival, immediately putting us at ease. The dining room is truly charming, with vaulted ceilings and lovely exposed stonework, and the bistro-style wooden tables and chairs add a convivial and authentic touch. The dishes are good, simple, and made with artisanal products, which is evident in the flavors, even if the overall experience remains somewhat classic. The plates could perhaps use a little more flair or surprise to make the experience more memorable. We were slightly disappointed with our Shepherd's Platters, where the meat pies seemed to have been "forgotten." With a price reduction of around five euros, the quantity/quality/price ratio would undoubtedly be more balanced. Overall, a pleasant place to sample local products, although for a similar result, you could just as easily fill your basket with gourmet treats directly at the market.

04/09/2026: A short walk beside the river from Le Monetier with our dog led us across the bridge to a welcoming lunch stop. The food was freshly prepared and delicious and wine reasonably priced. Our dog was welcomed too. We will definitely be coming back - hopefully after a days skiing next time.

03/05/2026: We only ate here. The food was very tasty, but the service was very tense. This created a bad atmosphere throughout the room. Also, the acoustics were so bad that it was very loud.

24/08/2026: What a lovely discovery! ​What a delightful surprise this tiny place in Briançon is! ​The atmosphere is warm and the service is simply top-notch: such a kind and attentive welcome that makes you feel pampered from the first to the last minute. ​As for the food, it's a delight! The food is truly excellent, but special mention goes to their escargots: incredibly tasty, mouth-watering! And as a final touch, the blueberry tart was a real hit, the perfect end to a great lunch. ​Hats off to all the staff. Thank you very much and see you soon!

13/08/2026: In short: mediocre value for money. Almost no dishes under €20: at these prices, we expected better quality. The burger bun was dry, and €26 for a fried sausage with no attempt at presentation. Sure, the sausage is truffle-flavored, but we're still looking for it. And the goat cheese salad is really basic. They could do better at these prices…

We each had a Caesar salad, a blueberry tart, a real delight, and two scoops of ice cream. The welcome was excellent, and even better for the welcome from your wonderful dog (I don't know her name ;). Thanks to you, we had a very pleasant time in your restaurant.
