12/12/2024: In this cozy nest that is the Auberge du Choucas, we found refuge. The stone walls, rough and caressing under the fingers, envelop us in a gentle warmth. The air is saturated with the intoxicating scents of burning wood and mountain herbs. The hostess, like a fairy, has woven us a cocoon of sweetness. Her grace and finesse of spirit are a true balm for the soul. Next summer, without hesitation, we will return, to taste again the delights of this haven of peace, far from the tumult of the world.
15/09/2024: Very warm welcome. The owner is very attentive to his customers.
The rooms are very clean and well equipped.
In terms of catering, the evening meal was excellent with very good value for money and the service was impeccable.
The breakfast is very good and plentiful
We had a very good stay
We will return there very happily

25/09/2024: Restaurant décapotable au pied des pistes de superdevoluy. Les assiettes sont copieuses et les tarifs abordables. Ce qui n'est pas toujours le cas en station.
24/08/2024: Merci à Marjorie et à son équipe pour leur agréable et souriant accueil . Hamburgers et salades sont excellents et ne pas oublier les glaces.

04/09/2024: Relaxing place, I didn't eat there so I can't judge. The staff is friendly.
Open from May to the end of August.
Next year I will come and eat there.
Trout fishing possible, rental of rods and then you pay for what you catch (nice for children)
31/08/2024: We had a great time as a family. A very nice place with a trout fishing pond, we caught 4 in an hour and a half, the staff is very friendly and accessible. The menu is not very extensive but everything is fresh and homemade.
We will certainly come back on occasion to see Coline the manager with her partner the nice gentleman according to my daughter🙂. In addition I have a game of pétanque to finish with the Roman cook, pending score 9 -6🙂.
Anyway, if you are looking for a relaxing and nice place, this is where you should cast your line.

En juillet, le week-end a midi, il n'y a personne chez vous alors que c'est très sympa, pourquoi ?
Car vu les prix, nous avons l'impression d'être pris pour des ....

Pleasantly surprised by the reception we received, truly catastrophic! Arriving at 11:15 a.m. we were kicked out due to setting up a table for service!
Unacceptable!
A redheaded employee who really doesn't speak properly!
Ashamed ! It really changed the good old days!
We won't come back there again since we're disturbing!

11/05/2024: What a pleasure to take the bath. Outdoors with water at 37°. And the mountains still covered in snow in front of us for May 11. Serre Che. Not a season can resist him, always as beautiful.
10/05/2024: It's a shame that the adult zone is not respected, my wife and I needed some peace and quiet and unfortunately children were wandering around and running even though it's an area called "prohibited for under 18s" we had to pay extra to access it. in addition.
I recommend it anyway, but if it’s calm you’re looking for….

Arnaud le cuistot est seul en cuisine avec un genou HS et les plats arrivent quand même efficacement. Anthony le serveur est avenant, gentil et dynamique.
Un duo parfaitement accordé pour vous faire passer une magnifique soirée !

25/07/2024: Carte simple mais variée, chacun peut y trouver son bonheur. Pizza excellente (le reste aussi!), prix abordables, serveuses au top toujours souriantes et agréables. Je recommande
04/05/2024: Je me suis rendu à l’écureuil avec des amis. Nous avons été accepté en coupe vent. Le restaurant est une usine et veut uniquement vous faire payer le plus vite possible. Serveuse très peu aimable. Enfin, ils n’ont même pas voulus diviser l’addition, une situation délicate pour des étudiants.

A little nod to our waitress with whom we had a good laugh and who was remarkably kind! And 2nd little nod to the boss for the calva which makes us Normans happy! :)

The service was disastrous. I had never been received like this in a restaurant before (many unpleasant remarks, no friendliness, irritable tone, etc.).
21/08/2024: Découverte d'un lieu très sympathique à la suite d'une randonnée. Fondue savoyarde délicieuse et pizzas très bonnes . Génépi en digestif délicieux. On recommande vivement .
