02/09/2026: I never tire of it; I go back every year and it's always just as pleasant and good.

29/08/2026: It absolutely magical. Essentially a forest glade with a lake by the river. You try and catch a trout. Either way you get trout to eat, with salad and potatoes. Wine comes in clay jugs. They spent ages trying to help my daughter catch a fish. I'm English, I speak very little french. Everyone was happy. It's cash only. That's all you need to know.

24/08/2026: What a lovely discovery! ​What a delightful surprise this tiny place in Briançon is! ​The atmosphere is warm and the service is simply top-notch: such a kind and attentive welcome that makes you feel pampered from the first to the last minute. ​As for the food, it's a delight! The food is truly excellent, but special mention goes to their escargots: incredibly tasty, mouth-watering! And as a final touch, the blueberry tart was a real hit, the perfect end to a great lunch. ​Hats off to all the staff. Thank you very much and see you soon!

13/08/2026: In short: mediocre value for money. Almost no dishes under €20: at these prices, we expected better quality. The burger bun was dry, and €26 for a fried sausage with no attempt at presentation. Sure, the sausage is truffle-flavored, but we're still looking for it. And the goat cheese salad is really basic. They could do better at these prices…

03/05/2026: We only ate here. The food was very tasty, but the service was very tense. This created a bad atmosphere throughout the room. Also, the acoustics were so bad that it was very loud.

23/08/2026: Excellent pizzas, generously topped, very good. The desserts are overpriced for what they are. The service is very good. If you want to eat real pizza, come here, and avoid the tourist traps in the Vauban citadel like Valentino.

So no starter, a meager main course, a beer as an aperitif, and a warm bottle of wine! A coffee: 37 euros per person!! Despite everything, the owner is friendly but would benefit from learning his trade. I received your reply; regarding the 22 euro set menu, you certainly didn't offer us the "tapas" you mentioned to justify the price!! As for the wine, simply immersing the bottle in a bucket with some ice cubes would have been sufficient, which is effective in this case. 24/08/2026: We ate here twice during our stay. The pizzas were very good, generous, and perfectly cooked. The waitresses were very welcoming and friendly. Ask to eat on the terrace at lunchtime—it's amazing! 😍 I highly recommend this place with its magnificent view.

23/08/2026: Fresh ingredients and excellent pizzas!!!! A fantastic find!!!! Special mention to our waitress, who was incredibly attentive!!!! Not to mention the prices!!!! We'll definitely be back!!!!

15/02/2026: A warm and friendly welcome awaited us upon arrival, immediately putting us at ease. The dining room is truly charming, with vaulted ceilings and lovely exposed stonework, and the bistro-style wooden tables and chairs add a convivial and authentic touch. The dishes are good, simple, and made with artisanal products, which is evident in the flavors, even if the overall experience remains somewhat classic. The plates could perhaps use a little more flair or surprise to make the experience more memorable. We were slightly disappointed with our Shepherd's Platters, where the meat pies seemed to have been "forgotten." With a price reduction of around five euros, the quantity/quality/price ratio would undoubtedly be more balanced. Overall, a pleasant place to sample local products, although for a similar result, you could just as easily fill your basket with gourmet treats directly at the market.

03/08/2026: A very warm and friendly welcome! The daily specials were refined and exquisite. The service was quick, and the atmosphere and decor were welcoming! There were four of us for dinner, and we all enjoyed it, young and old! We highly recommend it.

27/07/2026: The meal was very good, real food made on site, and the price was more than reasonable considering the quality. I will return without any hesitation.
