01/07/2026: This review concerns only the restaurant itself. The service is impeccable, and everyone is very kind and friendly, but the value for money of some dishes leaves something to be desired. The 180g piece of beef was stringy and sinewy, a bit white, and deserved to be prepared a little better for that price. It came with a little mashed potato, vegetables, and fries. (I asked three times for the fries without salt, and they still ended up with salt on them...) On the other hand, the bull steak tartare, prepared right in front of you, was really good. Charging high prices is fine, but you have to live up to them; service isn't everything. I'm still giving it three stars because, to be fair, we ate well, but we've also eaten better elsewhere for much less. Best of luck!

12/06/2026: We had a group meal (25 people) after visiting George Sand's estate in Nohant/Vic. We received a very warm welcome from the staff at the beautiful restaurant. It's well located, with simple but very bright decor. The dining rooms are bright and pleasant. The (group) meal was excellent, and the prices were very reasonable. Tables were properly set, etc. It's close to George Sand's estate, the renowned La Châtre motor racing circuit, and Lignières with its national donkey fair. A beautiful region full of charming little places. 3-star hotel.

13/09/2026: 26.50 for a piece of uninteresting parsley ham, very poor presentation, the fillet wasn't tender and wasn't cooked properly, and cheese or dessert 26.50 is way too expensive, a rip-off!

03/09/2026: Excellent home-style cooking. Pleasant setting, very good value for money. It could use some background music. I recommend it.

18/08/2026: The food selection is limited, dry, and some of the sauces aren't very good. There wasn't much choice of sushi. There were only 3 or 4 pieces left on the plate. I asked an employee if there were more, and he said no. I'm disappointed and wouldn't recommend this place to anyone looking for variety and flavorful food.

18/08/2026: The selection is limited and the food quality is inferior to the competition. There's little more than the equivalent of a single buffet. I arrived quite early, yet several dishes were already empty, some meats were cold when they were supposed to be heated, and I found the chicken skewer rather undercooked... which is, honestly, truly appalling.

15/08/2026: We made a reservation for Saturday evening and when we arrived, the restaurant was closed! I find it unacceptable to accept a reservation when the restaurant is closed! Please inform your customers in advance next time.

06/08/2026: A great restaurant in the heart of Châteauroux. The food is varied and delicious, and the service is excellent. Reservations are recommended to secure a table. I recommend the avocado toast with marinated salmon as a starter.

In my experience, the management leaves much to be desired, and the prestigious image associated with it does not correspond to what I observed. My interactions with management were particularly unpleasant and left me with a very negative impression. I will not return, and I will not recommend this establishment.

07/09/2026: I think the cook changed the escalope, which was swimming in sauce, and the seafood pasta, which was missing clams even though it was listed, I don't think I'll be going back.

23/08/2026: There's a sign at the entrance saying it's open Sunday evenings, but it's not. It's not difficult to update the hours on Google and also post them on the door.

30/08/2026: Well, how to put it... 🤦 I just left McDonald's, a disaster, no, an ice rink! We almost did somersaults, the floor was so greasy. The kids were having a blast skating, oh my god 🤦. Only two out of six self-service kiosks were working, so we went to the register and waited ages before one employee asked another to take us. Anyway, what more can I say? The food and the staff were fine, no problem 🤷

29/08/2026: No soap in the toilets, chickenburger tasted like shoe sole, double cheesburger was luke warm and looked like someone spit on it, food took way to long to get to us, the cherry coke tasted like chough syrup, the trays were dirty. only mediocre thing was the fries

06/09/2026: A manager who is anything but professional, just aggressive and disrespectful. All it takes is for two people from a large group to refuse to order (one of them had a terrible migraine) for him to become bitter and arrogant. Asking someone to charge a phone is an ordeal, and the accompanying remarks are completely inappropriate. He should consider changing careers, given the number of people complaining about the same person at the bar. The cocktails weren't even good; try to be more humble next time, dear manager.

11/06/2026: We had lunch there last Saturday. It was very busy, but the staff were excellent and very efficient. The meal was delicious and quite generous. The setting is also pleasant. I recommend it.
