29/03/2026: A day trip to Bugey. A quick stop at Auberge Larina, which offered a Portuguese meal. It was like stepping back a few weeks to our holiday in Porto. We felt like we were back there again. The welcome and the meal were, as always, top-notch (it's not our first time, but there are always new discoveries). Luckily, they're not right next door, otherwise we'd be there all the time 😂. The great thing is that the North Isère region, around their place, is full of discoveries to make to end the day. The Larina archaeological site, the Balme caves, the bald cypress trees (best visited in late October/early November). This time, we'll visit the Château de Quirieu – a fortified island in the middle of the North Isère plateau, just above the Rhône – and we'll take a tour of the Briord Underground Aqueduct. In short, everything you need for a great day out, combining culinary discovery, history, and nature.

24/05/2026: I ordered two pizzas, one oriental and one supposedly goat cheese and honey, but it wasn't at all what I ordered. Plus, I found the pizzas empty and dry. I've tried them several times since the new owners took over, but I think I'll stop there, especially since I didn't get the right one. I wanted to share photos as proof, but apparently you can't post with a photo. Sorry.

03/11/2025: Restaurant in the heart of old Bourg d'Oisans. Beautiful, bright dining room, heated in winter. Excellent menu of burgers and pizzas. Generous salads and meat dishes served on a platter. Delicious, hot, and very filling. Main courses are around €15. Wines of the day. Very friendly service. A great place to eat with friends or family.

And I mustn't forget the service, which is equally efficient, quick, friendly, and elegant. Honestly, I've rarely been so impressed. Hats off to the entire team. I can't find the words to describe the tastes and flavors of the dishes; they were simply delicious. A must-try in Voiron and the surrounding area.

02/05/2026: A truly wonderful evening spent with my son celebrating his 18th birthday at the restaurant "La Belle Histoire". The dining room is small but warm and inviting, and not noisy. The place is tastefully decorated, and the welcome was friendly and discreet. The menu is varied (à la carte or set menus), original, and makes you want to try everything! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! The presentation, the taste, the freshness, and the quality of the ingredients... everything was perfect! A great find. I definitely intend to return...

27/05/2026: They run a very welcoming establishment, so friendly, the service was excellent and the staff very polite. The perfect egg was perfect as a starter. The beef fillet is excellent, I highly recommend it. Indeed, it's located next to a steakhouse called Le Coin du Boeuf. But despite appearances, having tried both restaurants, I find that Brasserie d'Alice remains the place to go for people who want to eat well.

16/05/2026: It was very busy on Ascension Thursday, so the wait was a bit long... but so delicious! And the service was friendly and enthusiastic. Tender lamb stew with excellent baby vegetables, monkfish medallions, chicken supreme... all three were superb. The chocolate Chartreuse dessert was original, light, and flavorful.

11/05/2026: After a hike in Vézeronce that morning, we were looking for a restaurant. We weren't disappointed: set menu for €28, salad for €19, children's menu for €12. The staff were very pleasant. The beef cheek was a real treat, and the salads were very generous. We will definitely return.
