09/12/2025: This is my second and, quite frankly, last time going there. A very unpleasant experience, just like the first time. I don't think you can get any colder or more unpleasant than that. It was too much to ask to place your order at the register.

09/03/2026: Very disappointed. Eating in at Paul's will cost you more than 10% of what you eat, and all that just for a salad in a cardboard container and a Perrier in a plastic bottle. The reason for this extra charge? The dishes on the tray—unbelievable! In short, it's better to eat elsewhere; the food is just as good, and I get a free meal when I eat in!

21/02/2026: We ordered cappuccinos to go and received lattes instead! If you can't make proper milk foam, you should just tell customers there isn't any rather than trying to sell you something for the sake of selling. Frankly, I've had cappuccinos at other Paul bakeries and the quality was impeccable. If you go there, definitely order a cold drink and avoid the coffee!

12/04/2026: We came for a light snack on a rainy Sunday, which was a shame because we all ordered waffles that were really very dry and we didn't even finish our meals! The coffee was undrinkable (and that's coming from a big coffee lover). Aside from that, the setting is really pleasant and the staff are very kind and helpful.

13/09/2025: Both suffered from indigestion shortly after the meal. The other people in our group, who did not eat meat, had no problems. I therefore advise against this restaurant and urge the managers to pay particular attention to the safety of their food and the preservation of their products.

27/08/2025: The reservation was perfect, the service was excellent, the staff very friendly and helpful, a complete change of scenery without feeling like you're on vacation. The portions were generous, the desserts were delicious, made with high-quality ingredients, and the restaurant was very clean. The prices were very reasonable. I highly recommend it, as I do every year; I've never been disappointed.

21/03/2026: We arrived as a family for the restaurant and the pony club, and we had the misfortune of meeting the owner, who became vehemently angry for no apparent reason ("You need to talk to the right people!" What are you here for, the restaurant or the pony club?!) while very friendly customers were providing us with information. The other customers, clearly embarrassed, confirmed that this is unfortunately her usual behavior. Our children and the other children present were disturbed by such intolerance of frustration and the perceived powerlessness of a woman of a certain age. We do not condone this lack of civility and do not wish to further enrich an owner who exhibits behavioral and impulse control issues.

19/03/2026: Excellent value for money! For just €16.90, this set menu with starter, main course, and dessert is a real winner. The dishes are delicious, beautifully presented, and prepared with care. You can taste the freshness of the ingredients and the culinary expertise. The service is pleasant and the atmosphere is warm. A wonderful discovery that I highly recommend!

20/03/2026: Booked a table for my father's 80 birthday with my family. Took a while to get seated. Eventually we managed to order drinks which took an age to arrive. We all ordered food many of which had the special of the day which was a pichanna steak. This also took a long time. Steal was terrible. Non of it was cooked to how we asked and you needed a chainsaw to cut through it. Totally awful quality. Just another Fench mountain restaurant serving overpriced bad quality food. The one pizza we had was very good and the waiter was very friendly but thats about all the positives. It wasnt even that busy. Ive worked all my life in the snow sports industry and this is just another example of why people are looking for alternatives to the French alps.

20/03/2026: Overall, we had a good meal. One complaint: the pasta with gorgonzola was extremely bland. The waiter was a bit condescending, but this criticism doesn't apply to his colleagues.
