21/04/2026: I was quite surprised by the lack of welcome. The saleswoman didn't even respond to greetings from customers, even though it wasn't particularly busy. But the bread is good and affordable.

11/03/2026: I made a reservation for 1 p.m. for two people, arriving at 8:30 a.m. When we sat down and ordered the set menu, we were told it was sold out! I pointed out to the waitress that this was very inconvenient, forcing us to order other, much more expensive dishes (a meager salad at €16). She responded rudely that she couldn't prepare dishes that might not sell! And this is called a restaurant... This is the second time I've been there, and both times I've been disappointed.

05/05/2026: Hello, firstly, the restaurant wasn't very busy, but the order took a long time to arrive, even though it's a fast food place. Secondly, when the order finally arrived, the burger was poorly made (you can tell the staff are lazy), and considering the price we paid, it's frightening to be served in an establishment like this. Another small point: the cherry soda tasted like a cheap Coke from a discount store. It's only acceptable for a couple of minutes; they need to stop treating their customers like they're stupid.

The dishes are well-presented, generous, and above all, delicious. You can tell they do everything to ensure their customers have a wonderful time. I highly recommend this place!

19/05/2026: Beaulieu used to be THE go-to tobacconist, along with MED, which opened early in the morning, 6:00-6:30, and didn't close until midnight or 1:00 AM on weekends! It's become rubbish... just like MED! The opening hours are now like those of a regular tobacconist, it's really awful! And then they're surprised that customers don't come anymore, but they treat their customers like animals! Before, we'd have a coffee before work, buy cigarettes and scratch cards, and come back in the evening after 7:00 PM when all the tobacconists were closed, or after eating at a restaurant or having a drink in town, where we were sure to be able to buy cigarettes at midnight or 1:00 AM... This town is going to hell in a handbasket! The shopkeepers complain all the time, but they do as little as possible!

07/05/2026: Overall, a good brasserie. Nothing crazy or exceptional. But it's a restaurant you can go to without any unpleasant surprises. Very efficient service.

09/12/2025: This is my second and, quite frankly, last time going there. A very unpleasant experience, just like the first time. I don't think you can get any colder or more unpleasant than that. It was too much to ask to place your order at the register.

02/05/2026: Terrible waiter! After feeling very thirsty on a hot, sunny day, around 5 or 6 pm, I saw a terrace on Place Victor Hugo and naturally went there. At the entrance, a waiter greeted me coldly. I found a table by myself and sat down. He came to ask me what I was drinking without smiling, even though he was smiling and laughing with the other customers. Shocked, I quickly finished my drink, and when it came time to pay, it was the same story: the waiter behaved in the same way, cold and unfriendly. I paid and left very quickly because staying seated in a place where you're treated so badly makes no sense. As a regular at Grenoble's restaurants and bars, I will never return to Le Palais.

09/05/2026: We were made to wait for two sundaes, even though they were already prepared and had been sitting on the Dupuis counter for a while. The drive-thru attendant preferred to do something else instead of serving us, even though there were no cars in front of us. When we pointed this out, she rudely told us we weren't the only ones waiting, even though we were the first ones at the drive-thru, waiting for our ice creams to be ready! Completely unprofessional, especially coming from a manager!

09/05/2026: 🍟 Hello everyone 🍟 Passing through La Verpillière, I stopped by McDonald's 😊 I'm not really a "fast food" person But I sometimes stop here because I love the layout of the place 🌷 I feel comfortable here 🍃 The establishment is very well maintained 👍 The staff is very responsive, polite, and friendly 👍 The restrooms are clean 👍 Keep up the good work 🏆
