01/10/2025: As always when we visit Notre Dame de Cenilly, we come to eat at Les Gars Melles. Good traditional cuisine and a family atmosphere, a very beautiful little village. I recommend it.

03/02/2026: Absolutely fantastic! If you love thin crust and quality ingredients, this pizzeria is for you! We've been ordering our pizzas exclusively from here for many years because, in my opinion, no other pizzeria in the area is as good. I highly recommend it! Our little boy won't eat pizza anywhere else anymore!

01/10/2025: We spent one night in this charming, rustic hotel. Despite our room facing the road, the night was very quiet and the bedding was comfortable. Breakfast was with local products, jams, and fruit... A must-do.

15/02/2026: We ate at Café du Théâtre a few weeks ago. The premises are truly beautiful and the location is ideal. There's free outdoor parking next to the theater. The service was excellent. We were served by a waitress named Octavia who, despite managing an entire room on her own, remained attentive, professional, and caring. Kudos to her for her efficiency and her smile. The cocktails were good, as was the meal. A minor complaint, however, was the Camembert on the charcuterie board: it was rather small and the overall portions a bit skimpy. That said, the board itself was good and the products were high quality. Overall, a great experience.

08/09/2025: We discovered this recently renovated restaurant and it was a wonderful surprise. The new team is welcoming, cheerful, and very professional, which immediately puts us at ease. The setting is superb: a beautiful view of the pond and the golf course, a friendly place where you can enjoy a walk, a fitness trail, children's games, or even a little marsh train. Ideal for spending a pleasant moment before or after a meal. As for the food, there's nothing to complain about: the dishes are generous and tasty, with very reasonable prices for the quality and quantity served. In short: a wonderful discovery, delicious cuisine, and a perfect setting for a wonderful time. We will gladly return and highly recommend this restaurant!

11/08/2025: We stayed two nights at this establishment. The room was adequate for the price. Clean. The problem with this establishment is the owner. To avoid any further issues for him, I took the liberty of mentioning to him privately that the individual Nutella packets on the breakfast buffet had expired in March (five months prior). He took it very badly (as he does with all negative reviews). This gentleman searched my Google business listing and left me a very bad review solely to lower my overall rating. This is unacceptable and fabricated, as we have never had a professional relationship. It's malicious and petty. Rest assured, sir, I am well aware of the difference between "best before" and "use by" dates, as I have worked with local authorities for 17 years and am in regular contact with the DGCCRF (French Directorate General for Competition Policy, Consumer Affairs and Fraud Control), which manages health and safety services, so I am well-versed in these matters. Who is the bad professional here? The customer who politely points out an expired product to the owner? Or the owner who replies that it's not a big deal with that type of product? True enough, but when you're welcoming the public, you have a duty to avoid this. Who has the better ethics and consideration? There you have it, I won't waste any more time and will let you read the response, which will undoubtedly be watered down with lies, like some of the ones in your reply on Booking.com. Although I hadn't mentioned expired products.

25/01/2026: Establishment closed for holidays

10/10/2025: The hotel is located in a beautiful setting, but the upkeep and maintenance and services are not up to par for the price. The bedding is good quality, but the room smelled of sweat and the bathroom smelled of sewage. Luckily, I was only staying for one night for work. Breakfast starts late, at 7:30 a.m., with frozen pastries and Super U products.

31/01/2026: We came today as a group of three... our seats were perfect, our order was taken quickly, the service was efficient, and the meal was delicious and plentiful.

27/02/2026: We went to this restaurant with our daughter. When we asked for a table for three, we were told there were no more seats available. Strange, considering the restaurant was three-quarters empty. As we were leaving, we wondered if our child was the problem. Out of curiosity, we immediately called to make a reservation for three. We were told there was space and that we could come whenever we wanted. So, was it just a coincidence or a bad experience? We'll see…

20/02/2026: My wife and I went there for Valentine's Day. What can I say...🤔 It was an excellent evening, 🤩. The staff took wonderful care of us. The service was top-notch from beginning to end. They gave us excellent advice regarding our choices of dishes, wine pairings, and even dessert. A truly outstanding team, 🙏🏻. Thank you for your professionalism.
