29/01/2026: 10/10 Best burger in France! I visited at 6.30 on a Thursday, I had what looked to be the first Guinness of the evening and it was really really good. The staff were amazing. I've been loving in France for over a year and bacon an cheese burger is my go to anywhere I go , this was by far the best bacon and cheese burger I have experienced in France!! The fries were also really amazing!! I can not recommend this place enough! It was quiet at 6.30 on a Thursday , but honestly I can't understand why. My partner had the classic burger and she also agreed the food was amazing! Thanks for the service and amazing food!

24/06/2025: I went there to stock up before the hike, the sandwiches are good, the croissants too, all at a very reasonable price

16/06/2025: Golden Brioche from the tourist village: Paid 12 euros for 1 coffee + 1 hot chocolate + 2 pastries. The chocolate was water and powder, and stale pastries probably bought in a supermarket. A tourist scandal. Avoid this destination. Mont Saint Michel is wonderful, but you shouldn't go there or into its tourist village. It's beautiful from afar. You might as well contemplate it while staying as far away as possible from this money-grubbing hoover. Too bad. Because it used to be a place of pilgrimage.

28/09/2025: Le Cabestan represents the knot in your stomach after eating or surviving at this "restaurant," which is far from being one. Serving spoiled seafood in one of the most renowned fishing ports in the country demonstrates a serious lack of skill on the part of the chef, if there is one. The whelks were so old they were dry. The crab was dry and pearly, therefore out of date. The only thing I ate from the platter was the oysters. All that seafood died for nothing. I brought it to the attention of the management, but they couldn't care less. Their bruscquetta is completely uninteresting. As a restaurateur myself for four generations, I find that such a lack of professionalism is a disgrace to our profession, as well as to the profession of fishermen, because their product and their work are not respected at all in this establishment. I think the (amateur) chef should be the boss, because if he isn't, I advise you to fire him immediately. We must not forget that serving sub-par seafood can endanger the health, or even the life, of the consumer. Of course, no goodwill gesture or apology has been made. Personally, I think contacting the DDPP (Directorate for the Protection of Fisheries and Aquaculture) to protect customers like us would be a civic-minded act.

28/09/2025: Restaurant management is like swimming; you learn it!!!! If my husband and I survive this kitchen, we'll be happy. I'm going to give you some advice, without aggression and with a lot of kindness: CHANGE JOBS!!!! Before coming, I wanted to look at the reviews, but in the end, I didn't. That was my mistake.

02/09/2024: Previously been to Senlis, which was much smaller, so less choice at the buffet. What was offered was good.

26/09/2024: Very pleasant and helpful staff! Diverse and varied dishes, each as good as the next! Nice little background music! Superb wooded decoration! A perfect moment spent with my darling in this restaurant! You have to taste everything and above all recommend them, as much for drinking as for eating! PS: very few restaurants offer fresh fruit and chocolate fondue for dessert!!

24/09/2024: Friendliness of staff, speed of service, small musical atmosphere, spaced seating. Good food and choice for all tastes. We will surely come back.

29/01/2026: Ordering breakfast when there's nothing else open nearby... No set menu options unless you just want coffee or tea. No luck, I want hot chocolate, so I have to order individual items, which is more expensive. I place my order and hear grumbling in the kitchen because they have to make a McMuffin and an Apple Pie first thing in the morning. If you don't want to work, you shouldn't have come, but if you're in the kitchen, you work, and without complaining, especially in front of the customers.

13/01/2026: The meal was cold. The cook with the long hair and glasses wasn't wearing a hairnet, while all his colleagues were, and on top of that, he kept running his hand through his hair.

30/11/2025: If you have respiratory problems or asthma, don't even think about setting foot in this hotel. It's truly unsanitary, mold everywhere, and the smell is unbearable. I don't even know how they can give this hotel two stars! Hygiene and maintenance are sorely lacking. The soundproofing is nonexistent; it's impossible to get a proper night's sleep. Taking a shower with lukewarm water in winter is a real challenge. And to my great surprise, I found a cockroach infestation. I had to change rooms in the middle of the night, only to find even worse: bedbugs. I ended up covered in bites, scratching myself raw. Do you know that pest control companies exist?! It was a truly awful experience. I arrived late at night, so I had no other option but to sleep in my car, but it was freezing. 😔😔

18/10/2025: We only tried the restaurant we stumbled upon by chance one evening. And we were delighted by a hearty, beautifully presented, and delicious meal. The meat and fish were perfectly cooked. And all this for a very reasonable price. A restaurant we highly recommend. For us, it's a well-deserved 10/10, truly 👍
