31/08/2024: We wanted to reserve this place for our wedding so we made an appointment according to the owner's availability, asking if our date was free. Arriving at the appointment we drove 1 hour with a baby and all the organization that that requires, once there the gentleman told us that it was unavailable on the date we wanted! Obviously we leave without even visiting and we are furious!!! We rely on this place and must therefore quickly look for another one. He told me he didn't warn me because he didn't have my number but it's his job to write down my number when making our appointment!

30/08/2024: Very pleasant and relaxing place. Very friendly welcome, Good restaurant, good breakfast.... frankly very good address! Perfect stopover to visit Cotentin.

08/06/2024: Good morning. As I pointed out to Google Maps, The "save that rains" no longer exists. Make way for "La Cabane du Cap Ouest" with a chic and tasteful seaside decor.

01/06/2024: Planchas, and tapas. The sea in front, order at the bar, quick. Good value for money.

19/09/2024: Very warm welcome, great breakfast, only 2-3 things are missing to welcome you in the rooms (kettle, coffee or tea, cotton pads)

09/09/2024: Unfortunately our stay coincided with the Friday closure of the restaurant / bar so arrival was by arrangement. Despite being 1 1/4 hrs late, the message from Patrice was of concern for our welfare, not annoyance! The hotel and restaurant are very clean and the room of reasonable size (had smaller in 3* plus!). Added benefit is that Patrice speaks very good english. and is a very welcoming host. There is ample free parking nearbye. We enjoyed a normal french continental breakfast - ample for our needs. The town is very well presented with many floral displays, a spacious square and an interesting park with lakes and children’s play areas. Everywhere is very clean - puts the Brits to shame! Would definitely recommend and would stay longer next time.

06/08/2024: Many thanks for your welcome! We arrived at 7 and we were immediately found a place. The lady was adorable, caring for us. The dishes are hearty and tasty. We had a delicious time! A big thank-you !

06/08/2024: The dishes are simple but good and local. The price is above what is deserved. The house advertises homemade and this is confirmed by the waitress but it is certain that the Normandy tart comes from Métro or another professional supplier. Too bad Barenton.

16/08/2024: Friendly and friendly hotel. Very good meal (starter buffet) and good breakfast. Nice little functional room. The entrance to the shower is very narrow (opens inwards, difficulty closing the door once inside)!!! Dynamic, pleasant and smiling staff.

14/11/2023: Varied and changing menu, great welcome from the owner and waitress. The setting is calming and cozy. The cooking and presentation of the dishes remain without comment. To be tested and retested again and again... 😉

04/04/2024: I appreciated this little moment of break before hitting the road again for work in this establishment. The staff is kind, helpful and responsive. The time is more than reasonable and the dishes are very good. The tour has a really affordable price. Barely more than €10 for a salad as a starter, a crepe as a main course and a coffee. I highly recommend.
