09/06/2026: We went on June 1st with my mother-in-law. EXCELLENT TABLE... beautiful tablecloths and napkins. Quick service. Excellent presentation and freshness of the products... the pork chop à la Normande was meltingly tender... the Vichy carrots were delicate and melt-in-your-mouth tender... The rhubarb tart with a flan. The service was perfect and pleasant. The price is a set menu, typical of a roadside diner... many regulars... There's no wait... Thank you for this lovely experience.

19/09/2026: Very attentive service. We had a rather simple dish (galet complet and crème brûlée), but it was beautifully presented and tasted delicious. We got a table without a reservation. My recommendation and thanks to the young, dedicated team. We'll gladly come back.

20/09/2026: We were extremely disappointed with our rental. The bathroom sink was broken, so we didn't want to use it; the bench seat was badly damaged; and the kitchen window handle was also broken. We felt the mobile homes were crammed together. We will never return to this campsite chain, which disappointed us far too much.

04/09/2026: The campsite is well located, less than a 10-minute walk from the beach and a pleasant aquatic centre.

08/10/2026: Good American food. Very welcoming. We hadn't booked and were received impeccably. No waiting. Helpful staff. Great Western atmosphere.

06/10/2026: My daughter received a sexist remark from Uncle Scott in Saint-Lô: "You just have to put her to bed, she won't bother you." It's a bit much to make that kind of remark in 2026. Does this man have a problem with women?

15/09/2026: Go without hesitation, the dishes are delicious and beautifully presented. A true delight, and the little touches were there, even a candle on the dessert without us asking for it.

04/09/2026: What a lovely discovery! The menu isn't extensive, which is great, and everything on offer is simply well-prepared. The dishes are beautifully presented, and it all smells so "homemade," just look at the mushrooms served with the salmon! We were there the day before yesterday, a party of four on the terrace, and we decided we'd be back... not to mention that the quality/price ratio is excellent!

05/09/2026: While passing through the town, we stumbled upon this lovely little restaurant. A friendly welcome, simple yet delicious food, generous portions, and a very reasonable price. A great place to remember.

11/10/2026: Relatively disappointed. It started off well, but then the wait for the food became interminable. The waiter mumbled some lame excuse about a problem in the kitchen, and when the dishes finally arrived, it seemed like they'd been forgotten on the serving counter, quickly reheated, and sent out. The pasta carbonara was dry on top. The chicken à la Normande wasn't bad, but the accompanying cream sauce was really runny and tasteless. One star for the service because I think the waiter lied to us, and we didn't appreciate that. Apart from that, the staff was friendly and the atmosphere was pleasant. But when it takes too long, you lose interest.

10/10/2026: We had a wonderful romantic dinner at this restaurant. The staff were friendly and professional. They were very attentive to our needs. Plus, they welcomed our little one. We hadn't been to this restaurant before, but we've dined at our other restaurants (Bruay, Abbeville, Amiens, Yvetot). We're never disappointed.

04/09/2026: Lawless people blocking the roads with their personal cars to host their private party at Montepego/Overcoquin!! (see photos). Residents living on the adjacent streets can no longer get home!! One-third of the town was completely blocked all evening, causing massive traffic jams!! There is indeed authorization from the town hall for Rue des Chapeliers, BUT NOT AT ALL for Rue Boudrie!!! And it is the illegal blocking of this latter street that is the cause of all the chaos for the neighbors and the residents of Avranches. Several of us neighbors went to see the owner of Montepego/Overcoquin and... she told us all to get lost. UNACCEPTABLE!!!

01/09/2026: Having just returned from visiting Mont Saint-Michel, we were looking for a restaurant and we weren't disappointed with our meal there (pasta and pizza), all for a relatively reasonable price. We highly recommend it!

07/10/2026: British style pub in Granville near the casino. Popular with the locals. Though it looks like a pub from the UK it definitely has French opening hours

This is exactly what we appreciate in a restaurant: kindness, simplicity, and the feeling of being genuinely welcomed. We were also very satisfied with the food. The dishes are flavorful, well-prepared, and beautifully presented, with a pleasant and generous cuisine that truly showcases the ingredients. Everything is designed to allow you to enjoy your meal at a leisurely pace, without rushing. We also loved the overall atmosphere of the restaurant: convivial, peaceful, with a touch of holiday and seaside charm that makes you want to linger. In short, a place where you eat well, receive a warm welcome, and simply have a wonderful time. We will gladly return on our next trip to the region. An address we recommend without hesitation!

19/09/2026: A skate wing that melted like butter, snails with Camembert that were to die for, gingerbread with salted butter... absolutely divine. An unusual place and a warm welcome.

01/09/2026: We stopped there by chance, as it was on our way, but honestly, it's worth the detour! A wonderful welcome right from the entrance, with a magnificent fireplace. Top-notch service, and a nice bonus: dogs are welcome. As for the food, only high-quality, homemade products, from appetizer to dessert. All at a very reasonable price. I highly recommend it!
