22/06/2026: We came as a group of four to eat, we had a very good meal and the service was excellent. The salmon croque monsieur was delicious with very good fries. I recommend it 100%.

12/08/2026: A total disappointment for a €46 menu. Starter: The foie gras arrived lukewarm, served with a stale bread roll soaked in who-knows-what. Main Courses: The seafood sauerkraut had only three measly pieces of fish and very little flavor. BUT it arrived on a plate with dirty edges. I mentioned it to the young waitress, but nothing was done. For my husband, the leg of lamb, cooked for 7 hours, was tasteless and completely uninteresting. Dessert: Beautiful presentation, but unfortunately, the taste was disappointing. What a shame. We had been several times at least two years ago and frankly, we had very fond memories of it. What a pity.

04/08/2026: Superb place. Exceptional view. Very pleasant staff. A few more sandwich options and it would be 5 stars. For coffee and aperitifs, this is the place to go.

03/08/2026: Frankly, I'm from the area and was just visiting family. I was very disappointed with this establishment. It was unbearably hot. I went to the bar and casually asked for a lemonade. Admittedly, I was served a lukewarm lemonade, which wasn't pleasant at all. Anyway, I moved on. I came back an hour later with my children and nephews for ice cream. I waited a long time to finally be served. The man finally arrived, and I told him I needed several ice creams. He asked me how I would pay, without even registering my order. I replied by credit card, and he said, "I'll keep you waiting, the card machine isn't working properly." Meanwhile, I saw many customers being served at the bar. I also saw their payments going through. One of the waitresses was serving ice cream, and I asked why I wasn't being served. I was told to wait again. After 20 minutes, I told the children, "Come on, let's go!" They didn't want to serve us. I've been in the business for 27 years, and I I've never seen anything like it, the way we were approached and treated. It was a blessing in disguise, because just a few steps away was the night market, a truck selling delicious homemade ice cream at much lower prices. But in any case, they'll never see us again. There were 11 of us, and they must have been annoyed to have to serve us.

06/08/2026: Great restaurant with a very reasonable set menu price. Spoiled by the waitress's rudeness; she was truly unpleasant. This has happened four times in a row, so it's definitely her behavior that's the problem, not "just a tired day" as stated. It's a shame because it's a good place.

23/07/2026: Neptune is the best bar in Saint-Lô, especially for its cocktails; they're excellent and reasonably priced for their quality. The bartender is super friendly, there's a great atmosphere, and I highly recommend this place for relaxing with friends and family ;) Thanks

19/08/2026: Family lunch (2 adults, 1 teenager aged 14, and 2 children aged 3 years and 1 month). The restaurant has a very pleasant atmosphere and very welcoming staff. The food was high quality, made with fresh, local ingredients, including the children's menu (fish fillet/rice/sweet potato puree). We had a very enjoyable time.

29/07/2026: The two of us enjoyed a delicious meal: a small, fresh salad as a starter, roasted fresh sardines as a main course, and a homemade frozen mint terrine with dark chocolate sauce (like an After Eight, but hot and cold) for dessert, along with four coffees. Everything was delicious, served on the terrace by two friendly, efficient, and smiling young people. Highly recommended.

11/05/2026: It really bothers me, but I've been there three times and been disappointed three times. No problem with the service, hygiene, etc. But each time, seeing the positive reviews, I thought, "Oh well, maybe it was just a fluke, it happens." Last week, I gave the raclette bread and panini another chance, and they were dry and tasteless. The raclette bread was overcooked and had no meat flavor; it tasted like I was eating bread and potatoes... It really bothers me because maybe it was just another fluke, but three times in a row seems strange. I'll still try a pizza, even though I was very disappointed because the pizza was dry and extremely salty.
