14/05/2026: As for the food... absolutely nothing to complain about, IMPRESSIVE... exceptional cuisine. For the price, go for it without hesitation. However, the service was terrible. We arrived between 12:30 and 12:00 instead of 12:00, and I simply asked if we could have a drink beforehand while we waited, and I was met with an incredibly rude reception from the owner... as I always say, you're not on vacation to be yelled at. It's a shame because, despite everything, the establishment is otherwise top-notch.

06/05/2026: The cuisine and service are outstanding, especially exceptional, thanks to all the many extras offered. Four flavorful amuse-bouches followed. Then came a variety of breads served with spiced honey, homemade salt, Nepalese pepper, and spiced honey. All in all, a special delicacy and a new experience. Each course was a feast for the eyes and the palate. After dessert, three more delicacies were served. The wine list also impresses with its great variety.

28/04/2026: We went to Cafe de Paris for a meal last night. We chose it because of its rating and we were not disappointed. The restaurant is located just under 0.5 miles from the Cherbourg marina. It is in quite a central location which is very convenience for us as we are moored up at the marina. The staff were very polite, helpful and professional. The food was fabulous. The dishes appear to be in the small side but trust me, they are big enough if you are having a 3 course meal. I must say the fish soup I had for my starter was absolutely delicious. Probably one of the best. The fish dumpling for my main course was also very special. But if you are not a fish person I recommend the lamb. The desserts were beautifully presented and of course very tasty. I love watching the red wine being decanted from the bottle. If we come back to Cherbourg again I will certainly be going back to eat there again.

15/12/2025: What an incredible restaurant! You can't find better in Granville. Plus, it's perfectly located on the Plat Gousset. And the chef—let's talk about him! He's practically Paul Bocuse, but funnier! The owner, Renaud, is a very good waiter; he should do stand-up comedy on the side—he's very funny too. That's all, kisses!

11/05/2026: Incredible value for money! A buffet menu with appetizers, a daily special, and cheese or dessert for €14, and the sea just 100 meters away—what more could you ask for? This will be our go-to spot during the Jazz sous les Pommiers festival! 🍎🍎🍎

24/04/2026: V good moules frites. Gives plenty of both, lovely guy too. Nice vibe in the restaurant. We got takeaway. Big pot, munch on beach, give back to him. Scrumptious.

26/04/2026: We had a wonderful weekend, starting Saturday late afternoon with the hammam, pool, and sauna in a magnificent setting 🤩 It's a shame we had to leave... In the evening, we had dinner at the hotel; it was delicious. The night was perfect and very quiet... and the staff were incredibly attentive and friendly.

18/03/2026: We spent two nights there and ate dinner both times. The waiter who served us both nights was very friendly and helpful, and we loved the food—it was absolutely delicious! The burger came with so much sauce that you just had to lick your fingers clean! Delicious!

03/02/2026: Reservation made for 12:30-1:00 PM, after an hour still not seated. Other regular customers were seated before us, resulting in over an hour's wait and no food! No apology from them. I do not recommend them; their professionalism is nonexistent!

11/04/2026: We went there as a family of six for my dad's 90th birthday. The meal was superb, the food excellent, and the price reasonable. The view of Mont Saint-Michel and the Tombelaine rock was magnificent. We received a very warm welcome, and I highly recommend it.

08/12/2025: We dined twice in December at this ideally located restaurant near Goury and its hiking trails. The owner is incredibly attentive and will prepare, upon reservation, a grilled lobster, flambéed tableside and served with a beurre blanc sauce, which will leave you with an unforgettable memory. The other dishes on offer are succulent; everything is fresh and perfectly cooked. The sea bream with chorizo ​​slices is a delight, the "Normand" puff pastry is superb, and the caramel pear with a scoop of ice cream... We absolutely recommend it. The quality of the food is becoming increasingly rare. You leave satisfied and delighted, without anything feeling greasy or heavy, and the price for the quality served is very reasonable. A huge thank you again to Mr. Boulay for these wonderful moments.

09/10/2025: A slightly dated establishment, it's true, but very clean, with guaranteed warmth and attention. A starter and main course menu at the unbeatable price of €25. Simple dishes but very well executed with ultra-fresh products. Sea bream, cider-infused ham, and warm pear with a little homemade caramel sauce are absolutely delicious. Don't hesitate to step through the door.
