19/06/2026: Our room was really nice. It would be even better if the windows were washed and if the room had air conditioning (the fan was not doing much). The emails I received prior to my arrival said call 48 hours in advance to confirm reservations and ask for a parking code if one was not received. I did not ever receive a parking code and when I called in advance, I was told I could not have the code until the day of arrival and to call back. Like others have comented it takes several attempts to actually reach someone. Multiple times while waiting I got disconnected. I decided to leave after arrival to go outside of the hotel to eat as the hotel's menu did not seem great for my family. Upon leaving the parking area, a ticket was in the machine slot that I grabbed, and the gate lifted. I did not think anything of this until I returned back from dinner and the code that was given to me earlier that day would no longer work nor did any ticket I had (at this point I had 2). Please take your ticket out of the machine as you leave to not mess up another guest (apparently I was supposed to put my own ticket in when leaving the gate - not get a new one)! I still do not know if you leave, do you need a new number to get in and if I had done it correctly, would I have been charged $12 euros just to check in the hotel, drop off my bags, and leave to eat dinner elsewhere? Regardless...this was a bad experience as when we returned NO ONE was answering our calls for over 15 minutes of trying to get into the gate. We decided to park in one of the back parking lots and we headed on foot to the hotel as it was getting dark. We kept calling while walking and before we arrived back to the hotel, someone finally answered our call and gave us a new code. There has to be a better way for this parking code system. I was a bit upset as the hotel was not busy and each time we walked past the check-in area it was empty with the hotel lady sitting at the desk. I assume anything could happen to make someone busy at any moment...but too many people have issues with this system. Make it better.

10/06/2026: Not recommended. . Aside for the amazing view it was a terrible experience. You need a code to get thru the gate which was not provided in advance and only after several phone calls were we allowed the code and access even with a prepaid reservation. The rooms are very worn and dated with stains on the carpet. The only restaurant in the hotel would not take us for dinner saying they were full. The front desk clerk said he could not provide any alternative places to eat outside the gate even though he acknowledged there were restaurants outside. He refused to provide any guidance or recommendation. One last note. I checked my spam and junk mail and the code for the gate was not there either. Stay elsewhere

30/07/2026: Good ice cream, but we got ripped off by €10. It was €35 instead of €25, and at Yver it's around €28. Three people with three scoops of ice cream here costs €35, and three people with four scoops at Yver costs €28. Go to Yver, it's amazing! 🫠🫠

05/08/2026: During any visit to Barneville, whatever you do, avoid the Noroit! The service is worse than the coffee.

29/07/2026: Visited on a Saturday morning with the market in full swing outside. Le Noroit was very busy inside and out, but someone vacated a table on the terrace and we enjoyed a few rounds of drinks and some tasty, well priced main courses. Service was friendly and some English spoken.

16/08/2026: Personally, I won't be going back anytime soon... The waitress seated us, then... Five tables arrived after us. Five tables were served before us... We had to ask the bartender for the menu, but she was very nice. Anyway, we finally got our order after I asked the young man if it was normal to see the last arrivals served first. Definitely don't order mussels right now; they're not mussels, they're mini mussels.

10/08/2026: Nice restaurant, open until late. Good menu selection. There's a terrace. Friendly and discreet service.

04/08/2026: Had a super delicious meal, friendly service for a great price. You definitely have to try the rum.

02/08/2026: Thank you for accommodating my disability. The mussels were good but small (probably due to the heat), the croque monsieur was slightly undercooked, but overall it was enjoyable. Best of luck to everyone!

29/07/2026: The food was very good, the service was quick, and the prices were reasonable. Remember to ask for the mussels, which are sometimes the daily special, as well as the salads, which aren't listed on the menu. The servers don't always remember to mention the daily specials.

18/08/2026: A popular spot, recognisable by the queue of people on the street. Competitive prices, but be warned: the sandwiches, although large (very long), aren’t generously filled. There were just three slices of ham in forty centimetres of bread. Interestingly, it’s full of people who bring what look like soup bowls from home and have them filled with chips. It makes it seem as though they’re cheap, but for takeaway, portions start at €2.50 and go up from there (€3.70 – €6.50). Generally speaking, the food tastes good, and there are seats available. An ideal spot for younger people or anyone wanting a quick bite to eat.

27/04/2026: A very nice hotel and restaurant, charmingly old-fashioned and tasteful. Everything is perfect; the owner, the chef, and Amandine are all fantastic. In the kitchen, from the outside, it's not "Hands off the loot," but rather "Hands off the chef's knife." Audiard could have written it. 😉 Keep up the good work, it's perfect.

16/03/2026: A welcoming hotel with a friendly staff. Comfortable and practical rooms. Modernly designed bathrooms. Parking available in front or on the street.

02/08/2026: Lunchtime was fine. Evenings, not so good! For a 90th birthday celebration, you can't linger; the welcoming smile has disappeared, the water bottles are handed out reluctantly, and you don't leave late, not until 12:30 a.m. A shame.

29/07/2026: It's best to avoid this place. I came for lunch. The food is far from homemade; it's very industrial. Furthermore, the coffee is really not good for €1.70! How could they even seat me at a table for two when someone was already sitting there?! In short, never again.

20/07/2026: Disappointing in terms of both service and portion sizes, especially considering the prices. Not recommended.

08/07/2026: Great little beach bar with a sea view, very welcoming woman. Thank you for the appetizers!

12/05/2026: Discovered by chance, and what a happy accident it was! Everything is great at L'Azac. The location, the welcome, the service, the food (both quality and quantity), and the prices. A proper restaurant, not a tourist trap.

09/04/2026: Good service but average meal, that said, for the price there's nothing to complain about.
