03/03/2026: A pleasant atmosphere with a view of the harbor, where you can eat at any time. The rump steak was cooked perfectly. A minor drawback was the fries and the sauce... The crepe was excellent! Overall, I had a lovely time.

24/02/2026: We unfortunately dropped off our CVs during our lunch break, and the reception was condescending and discourteous. A simple "no thank you" would have sufficed; there was no need to be so condescending.

22/02/2026: Breathtaking view of the harbor. Warm welcome and refined cuisine. The signature dish is a feast for the eyes and the palate (a delicious vegetable terrine in aspic). For dessert, the revisited tarte tatin is simply divine. The beautifully presented "café gourmand" (gourmet coffee) offers generous and excellent portions. A very good place that we gladly return to during our visits to Cherbourg.

29/01/2026: 10/10 Best burger in France! I visited at 6.30 on a Thursday, I had what looked to be the first Guinness of the evening and it was really really good. The staff were amazing. I've been loving in France for over a year and bacon an cheese burger is my go to anywhere I go , this was by far the best bacon and cheese burger I have experienced in France!! The fries were also really amazing!! I can not recommend this place enough! It was quiet at 6.30 on a Thursday , but honestly I can't understand why. My partner had the classic burger and she also agreed the food was amazing! Thanks for the service and amazing food!

18/03/2026: Avoid this Chinese restaurant. The food is truly awful and the hygiene is appalling. An inspection by veterinary services is necessary, as it appears the cold chain has not been maintained. There is a real risk of food poisoning. Very disappointed by this experience, I do not recommend this establishment.

12/03/2026: The welcome was friendly, but there was a real lack of organization. Two little girls were there, which didn't bother me too much, but... Regarding hygiene, I noticed some things that weren't great. The carafes were picked up from the tables, not cleaned, and they topped them up with the water that was still in them. It wasn't all bad, though; the waiter was very friendly and the meal was good.

13/03/2026: Closed on a Friday evening at 7:15 PM without explanation or website update. A shame, we drove all the way to try it out.

03/02/2026: Ate a Californian pizza that looked good, but got a stomach ache before I even finished it. The pizza wasn't fresh and the dough smelled chemical. I don't recommend it.

18/01/2026: We received a very poor welcome, the staff were rude, and there were no vegetarian options.

17/02/2026: A marked decline in quality over the past few months... There are errors in orders (despite the self-service kiosk option) and the food often arrives barely lukewarm or cold. The men's restrooms are also deteriorating, with broken hand dryers, sometimes no soap or paper towels available, and urinals frequently out of order.

23/03/2026: Hello, I came on the evening of March 23rd to pick up a kebab wrap and a kebab! Well, it's the first time I've ever seen a kebab wrap with fries inside! Probably to cut costs and use less meat! They were at least "kind" enough to remove the fries and put them in a container! And thankfully, they added more meat to complete the wrap! And don't even get me started on the tasteless garlicky white sauce (which was only on the fries they removed, and the harissa was practically nonexistent)! So, no sauce in the wrap or the kebab! Furthermore, we ordered takeout, and our accommodation is a good 5 minutes from the kebab shop, and when we arrived, the kebabs were already freezing cold, not even lukewarm! And last but not least, there was mouse droppings on the can of soda! Basically, avoid this kebab place; I don't want to know about the kitchen hygiene! But from what I can see, for a first experience, it's truly shameful! Unfortunately, I didn't take the time to read other reviews beforehand! So I hope mine will help someone avoid wasting time and money! P.S.: I'm allowing myself a long review because I come from a family of restaurateurs, and I've been in the business for 12 years, working in a lot of snack bar and restaurant kitchens!
