25/07/2026: Very good pizza, the dough is made in-house and baked in a real wood-fired oven, which gives it a unique aroma. The crust is thin, crispy, and the taste is truly excellent. I definitely recommend this place! 🍕🔥

06/06/2026: Very old hotel with toilets on the landing at the very end of a corridor. Very small room with a foul odor. Shower in the room with no door to separate them. The staff is very unfriendly. I absolutely do not recommend it; avoid it at all costs!

02/08/2026: The meat and bread are very good. There's a long wait to be served. You have to book well in advance.

26/07/2026: I went there for the first time last night, and it was absolutely fantastic in every way. The kebab meat was superb, and I'll be back very soon.

19/07/2026: Avoid this place at all costs, the welcome and service were terrible, we left without eating after waiting 1 hour and 10 minutes even though our order had been taken, they literally treated us like idiots.

29/05/2026: Was hoping to go there for dinner but the man turned us down because we didn’t have a reservation all for other people to come in as they please and not to mention all the seating inside was free too. We believe that it may be because we were tourists as we can’t think of any other explanation. Very disappointing experience and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone hoping for a meal.

18/08/2026: The context seems important to clarify... A morning of pea soup fog, the kind Normandy is known for, and a tourist overload during this particularly hot summer meant that many places were packed and overcrowded... It was in this atmosphere that we arrived at the entrance of this restaurant... The welcome was adequate, and the number of dishes served was quite reassuring. The person in charge of service, probably the owner, was doing her best given the large number of people and full tables, apologizing for a wait that was far from unbearable... And then the dishes arrived: eggs mayonnaise... simple, but why not? It's a shame the mayonnaise was store-bought and the salad side dish was straight from the bag, but we figured things would improve later on... The dishes arrived fairly quickly: a veal curry that seemed very watered down, though quite interesting; fish pastries that were clearly defrosted, accompanied by green beans that were practically brand new from the can... The chicken was actually quite good, and the fries were definitely not homemade either... So we thought dessert would save the day... lemon meringue pie... also 100% store-bought... no such luck... The coffee, on the other hand, was pretty good, although using a clean spoon would have been a nice touch, and the price was surprisingly reasonable... Then came the moment to pay... no, sorry, the price really doesn't match what I was served... Yes, there was plenty of it, I can't deny that, and you can tell they wanted to do a good job, but it's not what I would call home-style cooking... For me, it's an overpriced canteen... To be fair, though, it did allow us to enjoy a warm meal... As for the rather unpleasant, even rude, atmosphere among the other diners (which, let's be clear, isn't the restaurant owners' fault), the shouting at the owner in the kitchen, and the restrooms that could be politely described as questionable, let's just say there's a lot of room for improvement... In the end, when I walked in, I thought, "Maybe I'll stumble upon something amazing!" For me, no such luck... Apparently, for others, it's a fantastic place; after all, there's something for every budget, mine is probably used to a different kind of home-style cooking...

18/08/2026: We were disappointed with our visit to Uncle Scott's… The welcome wasn't very warm, with few smiles. We also found the portions rather small for the price. It's a shame, because with a more pleasant welcome and slightly more generous portions, the experience would have been much better.

16/08/2026: They couldn't make me a Death Burger even though it's part of Uncle Scoot's, plus children aren't really welcome. No bread, no water, no table.

22/08/2026: The owner and staff are very friendly, the dishes are delicious and original, and dogs are welcome. I highly recommend it.

21/08/2026: Yesterday at lunchtime, and again today at lunchtime, we ate at Café du Port. The service was excellent, the mussels and fries delicious, the dessert superb, and the welcome and service very pleasant. I highly recommend it! The prices are reasonable! You can go there without hesitation!

01/08/2026: Damn... pay attention to your orders!! Either something is missing or the order is wrong. It's not the first time, it's getting annoying. An iced coffee is not a hot one.

21/08/2026: We came for a drink in a quiet evening before the end of service; it was cool, chill atmosphere, friendly servers

18/08/2026: We were greeted and seated immediately, but after a 30-minute wait, our order was taken and we were served 45 minutes later. So, after an hour and 15 minutes of waiting, we asked the waiter what was going on. The waiter told us we had ordered a well-done hamburger, hence the wait! 🤣🤣🤣 Avoid this place. The food was good, but it didn't justify the wait! The waiters were unpleasant. I just can't wait to leave. The only positive point is the surroundings.

19/06/2026: A pleasant tea room with delicious ice cream. Highly recommended.

29/05/2026: Visited for breakfast, was tasty but portions were very small. Had eggs with bacon, was a tiny amount of bacon and 3 small pieces of baguette. Had to visit a bakery afterwards.

10/08/2026: I ordered a crêpe with caramel apple flambéed with Calvados. I was told they were out of caramel. No problem, I asked if I could substitute maple syrup (which I'd seen on another crêpe), and I was told it would be an extra €2.50... An extra charge just to replace a missing ingredient! That's really poor customer service. Furthermore, my crêpe came with a plateful of Calvados, which was very disappointing. It's a shame to end the meal with such a low bill.

21/08/2026: Good meats cooked over charcoal. Prices are slightly high but not excessive. A little more attention to the friendliness of the service and it would be perfect!

17/06/2026: For a family meal, I chose this restaurant where I had already been a few years ago and had been delighted. However, I noticed upon arrival that the decor hadn't changed... a bit dated. There were eight of us, and the restaurant was practically empty on a Saturday lunchtime in June! For my meal, I ordered a seafood platter, and its freshness was questionable... I'd rather throw it away than get sick. The surf and turf platter was meager for the price of the set menu. The lamb duo was served with frozen vegetables, and the lamb had little flavor. And given the exorbitant price, I skipped dessert... besides, I'd already seen enough. Remember to buy your aperitifs at home before you go... between 7 and 13 euros per aperitif... unheard of! I'm very disappointed, and it's far too expensive for the quality of the food. I won't be going back... avoid it!
