19/02/2026: The welcome was good, hence the 2 stars, but we were very disappointed with the pizzas. The dough wasn't cooked, there was very little topping, the scallop calzone was waterlogged, and the pizzas had no flavor. We do not recommend this pizzeria.

27/03/2026: Very good, but only when it's open... I'm fed up with coming only to find the door closed. It's happened several times now that we've come during the posted opening hours and the subway is closed. Going all the way there, really wanting to go, and all for nothing is incredibly annoying and frustrating!

19/01/2026: I'm a little surprised to see some of the negative reviews. The owner might seem a bit distant at first, but we go every week and are always served kindly and quickly. The food is good, plentiful, varied, clean, and the staff are polite. What more could you ask for? Keep up the good work, we love it!! Laetitia

05/07/2026: If you have lunch on a Monday, you'll get Sunday night's leftovers! That's what happened recently, and there wasn't much left in the dishes we had to finish before getting "fresh" food, or so we were told!

24/06/2026: I would never set foot in that place again. We entered the restaurant and came face to face with a dog belonging to the restaurant owner, which was wandering around the tables and kitchen.

26/07/2026: Avoid this place if you're looking for anything more than a coffee or a drink on the terrace. What a huge disappointment. I ordered seared scallops on a bed of vegetables and rice with rosemary sauce for €21. For that price, I expected a minimum level of quality. The reality was quite different: barely five tiny pieces of scallops, far too overcooked, rubbery, and with a strong blowtorch flavor. The so-called rosemary sauce was more like simple crème fraîche, served in a small, clear plastic container, without the slightest hint of rosemary. The vegetables were served in a ridiculously small quantity and swimming in oil, while the yellow rice was dry and uninteresting. Unfortunately, the service only made this very bad experience worse. The young waitress who greeted us at 9:55 p.m. seemed clearly annoyed at still having to serve customers. When we saw our dish, she remained completely indifferent. The manager showed a complete lack of consideration, offering only vague apologies without providing any compensation or a solution to rectify this appalling service. At this price point, one has the right to expect far better than cafeteria-style food, such meager portions, and such unprofessional service. Unfortunately, the feeling is one of being treated as a walking wallet rather than a valued customer. The only positive point is the location, facing the marina. This is regrettable, as this brasserie clearly damages the image of the Hôtel L’Hermine, to which it is attached. I will not be returning and I unfortunately cannot recommend this establishment.

01/07/2026: Awful, filthy, disgusting!! What more can I say? The waitress was unfriendly, didn't smile, was sour, cold, and didn't even say hello. The tacos weren't the size pictured, they were a medium and needed to be shrunk down!!! The tacos near the Carrefour is so much better, the stairs are in good condition, and the waiter was nice. In short, don't go to the one downtown, it looks like a closet. It looks like a bomb exploded on the sofa, plus the stairs are shameful… I do not recommend it. Awful customer experience 😡😡😡

28/06/2026: Passing through Vannes, we were disappointed... The establishment is dilapidated, the stairs are dangerous; some steps are missing, and the handrails are held together with tape. Overall, it's dirty; I don't know what it's like in the kitchen. Finally, the customers reflect the state of the establishment. I don't understand why there are no inspections carried out...

12/08/2026: Barely settled in, the manager didn't stop complaining about the crowds due to the closure of other restaurants in town: "I'm the ONLY one open." We would have much preferred to eat elsewhere and without this inconsiderate manager. We came for a relaxing evening, but instead we had a rather "lively" one: - no privacy between the tables, we were practically eating with our neighbors - a very long wait for our food, only to be told after 45 minutes that one of the dishes we ordered was no longer available. A last-minute change of order, and bam... he brought us another dish we hadn't ordered! - and to top it all off, he was clearing the terrace and sweeping the area while we were still eating. Special thanks to the young servers who have to put up with the manager's rudeness and incompetence! Hang in there, the season is almost over!

11/08/2026: It's a shame I didn't read the reviews before stopping there. The wait was far too long, the owner is just there to make money, luckily the young employees are friendly and do their best. Solo travelers, steer clear, the owner doesn't care if you ask to be seated at an empty table because it's busy. I even agreed to takeout. I'm not usually fussy. But during my wait (50 minutes instead of the advertised 15), six or seven small tables inside remained empty. Fortunately, the pizza was okay and the setting where I ate it was much better than the terrace where everyone stares at each other like statues to see who will be served first. Good luck to the seasonal waiters/waitresses for the end of the season.

09/07/2026: Given the number of restaurants in Malestroit, I strongly advise you to avoid this one. The service is nonexistent, the prices are inflated, and they don't even give you a bag when you order takeout. I've tried it twice, and there won't be a third time, that's for sure!

22/07/2026: I gave a gift certificate in June 2025 for a birthday at this gourmet restaurant. Today I discovered that the establishment went into liquidation on October 8, 2025. So, no meal and money gone. Mr. Hardy should shut down his website; it would prevent this kind of disappointment.

04/08/2026: Extremely disappointing. Shameful value for money. The waiter didn't follow proper etiquette; the cutlery was poorly washed; the salad was simply processed and expensive for what it was; the tuna was either overcooked or undercooked; the fries were like a Kinder Surprise egg—either slightly overcooked or not cooked at all; the wine was tasteless. The toilet door was open and the seats were sticky. In short, too many things were wrong. Normally, zero stars... but that's not possible.

27/07/2026: The restaurant is no longer what it used to be, which is a shame 😥 The food has deteriorated significantly, and the atmosphere is dull. I hope the restaurant improves.

01/07/2026: (Uber Eats takeout order) The burger was absolutely delicious, the bun was wonderfully brioche-like, a real treat!! I've never had such good mozzarella sticks—so crispy and melty. The servers were friendly and welcoming. If you have the chance to eat there, I highly recommend it!

16/07/2026: Shameful! I've never seen such a disgusting McDonald's! It's 9 PM, there aren't many people, I want to eat inside but I can't! The tables are filthy! Not even a wipe down! I decide to eat outside on the patio. Unbelievable! But true! The tables are dirty, except for one out of eight! And that's not all, on the ground there are several empty cans, cardboard boxes from kids' meals, napkins, and lots of paper napkins scattered everywhere! I sit down at the only clean table, and to top it all off, the dumpsters are all around the patio near the concrete blocks, not to mention the nauseating smell that goes with it, of course, normal given the heat... A very unpleasant experience. My sandwiches weren't good at all because I think they were made in advance, judging by the dried-out patties in the bread! I left everything and threw it all in the trash!!! I should mention that I never post comments, but this time, I just couldn't help myself!!!! What are you doing, Mr. Manager????!!!! Have you seen the Google reviews??!!! You deserve a hygiene inspection!!!!! I love Brittany, but this McDonald's is the worst place I've ever eaten!!!!!!

10/07/2026: Hello, giving one star is a steep price to pay; it's catastrophic. The lack of hygiene is blatant. How can they receive customers in such a deplorable, filthy place? The staff was completely unresponsive, and since we couldn't find a seat, not a single clean table was available. We went to the counter to get someone to clean, and it took them a while to respond. The person I was with advised me against even going to the restroom to wash my hands. This place is to be avoided at all costs; it's a disgrace. The health department should pay it a visit.
