14/12/2025: Excellent value for money! Simple and delicious cuisine! While some restaurant owners in Rochefort are unpleasant when you try to book a table, claiming they know they'll be full... at Au Freine le Temps, our reservation was accepted 15 days in advance, allowing us to come and enjoy the Christmas lights without any worries. ☺️ We received a very warm welcome; if you're looking for a friendly atmosphere, this is the place to be.

26/10/2025: A very warm welcome, and despite only one person in the kitchen, we didn't wait very long. The owner was very kind and the meal was delicious. A little something for the children, who were delighted with their decorated nuggets 😉

18/08/2024: We were expecting brasserie-style service and cuisine... happy surprise!!! 2 more than professional waiters worthy of large tables, with smiles, little attentions, good humor... To add to this, the cuisine is on point and the dishes are of quality, beautifully prepared, and above what is expected. 'we hoped!!!! Congratulations to the team, really!!!!

14/08/2024: A must-try place when going to Hœdic. The food is very delicious. The boss and other employees are very enthusiastic. The price is reasonable. The small balcony is very comfortable. I went there for several days and never got tired of it. The food is super fresh. 100% recommended.

18/08/2024: Very bad experience: Sunday evening shift on August 18, 2024 around 8:30 p.m. The young woman gave a very pleasant welcome, however, she was on her personal cell phone while packing the pizzas, without being in the way in front of the customers. In addition, this same young woman allows her to collect from customers to serve them as well as to continue using her cell phone, continuing on with making other pizzas without having washed her hands in time or put gloves… We find this to be a big lack of professionalism and respect!!!

21/07/2024: Accueil sympathique mais service débordé et donc longue attente (+30min) de nos assiettes qui arrivent tièdes. Dommage car très goûteuses. Nous ne sommes pas restés pour le dessert.

22/07/2024: Établissement très sympathique avec un personnel très accueillant et aux petits soins pour les clients. Les plats proposés sont faits maison et les assiettes très généreuses. Je recommande ++++

21/07/2024: Apres un apéritif entre amis sur la terrasse de l établissement, agrémenté de planches succulentes, nous avons décidé de nous restaurer sur place. Au menu, tartines ou viandes. Le service a été efficace avant de découvrir ces tartines consistantes et très bien préparées . La viande était parfaite et agrémentée de pommes de terres grenailles. En dessert, je vous conseille la mousse au chocolat et une super tarte aux pommes. Service impeccable, addition très raisonnable, et des patrons très sympathiques. Bref, une première expérience à renouveler au plus vite!

29/08/2024: Parents took me here today, for the first time, as they rate it. A clean, well organised establishment. Friendly staff. A decent selection of self service Chinese food, with a section, you can pick for a chef to cook from scratch. All the dishes were quality, as were the puddings. Very good value and washed mine down with a Tsingtao beer.

16/06/2024: Nous avons effectué une réservation à l’occasion de la Fête des Pères. Arrivée sur place. Aucune table était réservée nous avons dû rebrousser chemin c’est inadmissible à quoi bon réserver quand nous sommes mis à la porte. Résultats le jour de la Fête des Pères, nous avons dû improviser pour pouvoir déjeuner. Je trouve ça inadmissible.

20/08/2024: Hôtel très bien situé juste en face de la plage et à 10 min à pied du centre de Damgan. Chambre propre et jolie. Je recomande.

04/08/2024: Nous avons profité d’un séjour à l’hôtel sans le restaurant puisque fermé pour des raisons indépendantes de leur volonté. L’accueil a été souriant et sympathique. Les chambres sont bien agencées et la vue sur mer avec balcon très appréciable. Le petit-déjeuner est copieux et qualitatif. Nous avons passé un très bon week-end.

26/08/2024: Craft beers brewed on site! They make all types of beers but my favorites are the white and the 4.5% blonde. The welcome is warm, don’t hesitate to chat with them a little about their passion 😉

12/07/2024: Réservation et accueil vraiment sympathiques... Les plats sont copieux (moules-frites, brochette de gambas, camembert fondu,...) et gouteux... Excellent rapport qualité/prix... A recommander si vous passez par Damgan... Pensez à réserver...

23/08/2024: Excellent pizza, with a thin and slightly crispy dough like good bread straight out of the oven...a treat for the taste buds, cheeses that melt in the mouth, in short a sure bet with a super nice boss.

10/08/2024: Super petit restaurant avec des étudiants au service d'une extrême gentillesse souriants et très professionnels. Les plats sont très raffinés nous avons tellement appréciés que nous sommes retourné le lendemain. Allez y sans hésiter.
