We asked for a custom wine pairing by course and it was spot on.

23/09/2024: On our return trip from Provence, we spent two days in Lyon.
This is where we came across Le Bœuf d’Argent by chance. In the evening, only menus are offered.
The service was very friendly, and our questions were answered expertly.
The wine list is huge, but help is available.
The food was incredible, very refined, and every dish surprised us. A special experience was the appetizer before dessert, designed to cleanse our taste buds.
Then the chef, an Italian lady, came to ask our opinion – simply excellent.
It’s a slightly higher price range, but an absolute favorite to add a special touch to your visit to Lyon.

20/09/2024: It's only been a few hours since we were on vacation and our first stop in the city of Clermont-Ferrand will remain in our memory! A restaurant we like: kindness of the team, generosity of dishes made in Auvergne! A real French restaurant! A big thank you to Chef Seb for this tasting. Hats off to the whole team, we will be back.

Passing through Clermont as a group, we were very well received and served :) Homemade and very hearty food, I recommend the truffade! Thank you to the whole team for your smiles, willingness and professionalism. I can only recommend them!

The inventiveness and fusion of flavors is to die for, and we are deliciously surprised with each pairing on the plate.
Small, intimate restaurant, and the presence of the chef at the end of the meal is a nice surprise :)
Thanks again, we had a great time!

23/11/2024: La Gargotte s’est transformé en temple de la joie et de la gourmandise ! Sous la houlette du talentueux et chaleureux Yvan ! Un véritable magicien des saveurs et un ami délicieux et précieux ! Des plats aussi élégants qu’audacieux mêlés aux rires éclatants ! Une ambiance pétillante! La Gargotte est une écrin ou l’humanité se mêle à la générosité du chef ! L’amitié et le plaisir ont dîner , rit et dansé! Merci Yvan pour. Ton accueil toujours égal et ta cuisine généreuse et savoureuse !
17/11/2024: Nous sommes venus à 10… super repas!!!! Tout était soigné tant dans les saveurs que dans les présentations! Le patron charmant … le tout jeune serveur aux petits soins… si nous repassons un jour par Lyon nous reviendrons!!!!

Excellente cuisine, carte régulièrement renouvelée et service très attentionné
Sans hesitation une des meilleures adresses de lyon.
Un point à préciser, nous avions un chèque cadeau qui nous avait été offert.
Ici, pas de choix imposé, pas de supplément masqué, on choisit ce que l on veut dans la carte, tout est clair !
De plus en indiquant le numéro de chèque cadeau dès la réservation, tout est enregistré,
Il ne reste plus qu à profiter du moment !
Donc pour offrir ou pour profiter d une des meilleures tables lyonnaises, c est une adresse incontournable !

04/07/2025: After a concert, we stumbled upon this place and were treated like royalty. We were even offered pizzas with the toppings of our choice. A wonderful welcome and outstanding service! We recommend this place if you're coming back from a party or a concert, or for a quiet evening meal.

The set menu was really delicious.
Definitely a great Lyonnais restaurant to try if you are in Lyon.
31/12/2024: I live in the United States, and my little brother lives in Lyon.
During my visit after several years of absence in France, one of my wishes was to eat in a Lyonnais cork. My brother managed to get a reservation for 14 people.
We were warmly welcomed. The food was delicious, and the service impeccable. Our children and teenagers also loved it. I recommend this restaurant 100%!

15/09/2024: We had the most wonderful evening at this restaurant. It is rare indeed that a restaurant combines service, food and a spectacular view. We had a very special dining experience. The staff was helpful, friendly and the timing of the meal service was perfect. We enjoyed a three course fixe price meal that was wonderfully prepared and elegantly presented, The wine that was suggested paired well with our food.
14/09/2024: Nous n'avions pas eu encore l'occasion de revenir au trois domes depuis son lifting.
Je doit dire que c'est réussi, la déco est épuré, le service très pro sans être oppressant ,la cuisine toujours aussi maîtrisé.
Nous reviendrons plus souvent.

08/07/2025: We went with some friends to have lunch at this small but cozy restaurant and the truth is that it was a great success. The truth is that we chose this restaurant because there were vegan/vegetarian options since we are vegan.
What can I say about the quality, incredible. Absolutely everything was delicious. We tried different dishes and each one was better than the other. Our waitress was very attentive at all times, very friendly and helpful.
We sat on the terrace and it was very nice with a breeze. The bathrooms were also very clean.
Incredible value for money.

16/09/2024: Rarement mangé d'aussi bonnes pizzas. La carte est assez grande pour satisfaire tout le monde, les produits frais. Rien à redire. Merci aux serveurs qui sont supers aussi !
10/09/2024: We've been going there for 20 years and the pizzas are still just as good. My husband loves the 10 cheeses.
I recommend +++ super friendly staff and management.
