23/08/2024: I signed up in May to get here in August. The dishes are served very beautifully, but their taste is ordinary, I can’t say that it was very tasty. Looks a lot like an overly promoted place.

19/08/2024: Coming from Malta, I came to discover the beautiful French landscapes, so I stopped in Lyon, to eat in this small restaurant, rather good value for money, I had the joy of being served by Cantain, a funny waiter , pleasant and responsive, I can only recommend!

30/09/2024: Did you dream of it? They did it! Authentic flavors reminiscent of Chinatown, say hello to Bistro Zakka :) Between soft Bao with pulled pork, thick and airy Gua Bao with 5-spice glazed tofu and desserts with exotic flavors, you will be served. The staff are just adorable, attentive and very professional and polite. The cooks are extremely meticulous and friendly. If you think you can't live without it, they even make it to order ;) Special mention to their fragrant, sweet and cute Tang Yuan.

22/09/2024: Excellent table, limited menu of perfectly executed dishes, careful presentation. A very good mastery from starter to dessert, the recipes are spiced up with aromatics in just the right quantity, very tasty, very fresh. A cuisine with an obvious personality, which is a pleasure to taste. The 3-course menu is superb in its quality/price ratio. Very nice wine list, selective and a bit too expensive for some bottles, but we were well advised and the Burgundy was really delicious. The setting is cozy, warm, elegantly decorated. Friendly and impeccable service. A restaurant often recommended, and it is completely deserved.

28/09/2024: An excellent dinner in a very good atmosphere where you are not afraid to chat with your table neighbors to find out what they have chosen. The portions are generous like the chef's cuisine. I can't wait to come back and try other dishes on the menu.

12/09/2024: It's been a little over a month since I religiously frequented the Puzzle café. This place, beautiful and warm, with the perfect view (whether you are a tourist, stroller or resident), has a charm which is as much due to its aesthetic as to its delicious coffee and its even more delicious staff. Thomas and his team are adorable, smiling, sincere and always there to help you, or simply to chat. I go there to work, and I stay there (too) long because, at Puzzle, we feel good.

08/09/2024: It was love at first sight. The location and the cozy interior make it perfect for both work sessions or meeting up with friends. This café has so much to offer. The coffee is top-tier, with perfectly made lattes and cappuccinos, and the cheesecake (or flan) is absolutely delicious. I especially loved spending time at the outdoor tables, which offer an amazing view of the cathedral. If you’re in Lyon, do yourself a favor and check this place out.

14/09/2024: Grumpy staff. Chicken was tough. Pasta was a just a lump of pasta served in a bowl with a mushroom sauce that didn’t taste like morelles. Ate quickly so we could get out of there

14/09/2024: Une très belle soirée passée dans ce restaurant authentique. Beaucoup de petites attentions de la part du personnel très sympathique. Nous avons dîné une pièce de bœuf délicieuse. Ce soir là il y avait un anniversaire et l'ambiance était festive ce qui n'a pas manqué de nous divertir.

09/07/2024: Very good food, service on this Monday July 8 at midday rather poor, when only two tables were occupied. When taking the order the manager informs us that the choice we made is not possible: no more quenelles (for a Lyonnais cork!!!), we fall back on the salmon tartare: no more salmon tartare ....we try to stay calm and fall back on guts: ah no....no guts either...I prefer to keep quiet and let my hosts do it, because personally I would have left. Finally, we all choose the “almost unique dish”: steak with butter. When the dish arrives, the overly hasty manager spills butter on my phone....great. upon hearing the manager tell the other table that certain desserts are not available, we choose to forgo dessert. Positive point: the manager, aware of the discomfort, offers us aperitifs and Badoit. An honorable gesture to his credit. As a native of Lyon inviting two people from far away, needless to say, the reputation of the Lyonnais corks has taken a hit.
