10/05/2026: The waiters were very welcoming. The restaurant was full, but they offered us a table on the terrace with our stroller. The food is delicious. We especially loved the macaroni gratin and the crème brûlée! The quenelle was also very good, except for the accompanying rice, which slightly spoiled the experience. The non-alcoholic cocktails are also very good. I recommend this bouchon for a true immersion in Lyonnaise cuisine.

26/02/2026: We came for my wife's birthday, and here's our review. Getting there via the parking lot wasn't the easiest due to construction. The place is very pretty, the decor is nice, and the view is perfect. Special mention also goes to the waitress who was very friendly and kept her service lively. Our disappointment was with the food... we enjoy going to restaurants, and for the price, we were left wanting more. Aside from the meat dish, the rest lacked variety, quantity, and flavor. The accompanying drinks were quite good. The bread was very tasty.

08/03/2026: It's okay. However, the wine list has changed. I tried L'Amicaille but it wasn't there, so I was suggested to try Fontaine Cagnard instead, but that's... not a good recommendation. Luckily, there was Fuso Cazzetti, so I ordered it myself and had a good one. And after I arrived and spoke to the female manager, I heard her turn around and use a mysterious onomatopoeia, "ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba" with her colleagues. I'm worried it might be a racist remark or a sarcastic remark about my hasty arrival. Please correct me if I misunderstood. At 7:20, I was the only customer. Still... I recommended the Fuso tasting.

28/03/2026: A Lyon gastronomic institution, far removed from the somewhat outdated clichés one might imagine! A special shout-out to the sommeliers who always find the perfect pairing!
28/03/2026: At La Mère Brazier, you step into history and leave with the feeling that it continues to unfold gently. Founded in 1921 by Eugénie Brazier, the first female chef to earn six Michelin stars, the restaurant established itself as one of the pillars of French gastronomy, where Paul Bocuse, among others, trained. Today, MOF (Meilleur Ouvrier de France) Mathieu Viannay offers a faithful yet vibrant interpretation. Tradition in motion, just like in Collonges. The welcoming pâté en croûte: precise, clean, and classic. The salmon trout amuse-bouche with kiwi and watercress coulis introduces a more contemporary touch. Next come spider crab and brown crab, enhanced with caviar for a return to classicism. A gourmet dish more complex than it appears, a true delight for the palate. Then the barbecued langoustine with braised leeks, kumquat, and langoustine head consommé introduces a more contemporary dynamic, with its perfect cooking, deep consommé, and hints of other flavors. The scallops with apple and golden turnip in green curry maintain this masterful precision, enhanced by a green peppercorn condiment that could have been a touch more incisive. The sweetbreads with miso, accompanied by a sake jus, embrace the Japanese influence more fully, a journey into the world of umami. Dominique Courbis's 2022 Saint-Joseph is very expressive, its beauty enhanced by decanting. For dessert, the promise of lightness and freshness is fulfilled. A perfectly executed passion fruit and rum soufflé and a reimagined lemon meringue tart. For each seemingly classic dessert, there are complementary dishes that confirm that tradition is accompanied by modernity. Kiwi and aloe vera for the soufflé, candied Kalamata olives and blood orange for the lemon tart. The service was slow to get going and generally felt too stiff. At this level of cuisine, one would expect more fluidity and a touch more passion. The lunch menu, offering remarkable value for money at this price point, is highly recommended. Solid cuisine that fully deserves its two stars.

10/02/2026: We stopped by on a walk through Lyon recently, and had the best meal of our trip in France. The atmosphere was delightful and the full restaurant was a testament to the great food and even better service.

24/04/2026: Honestly, a fantastic experience at Ludovic B. We received a super warm welcome, and the service was top-notch without being overbearing. The dishes were truly excellent, beautifully presented, and above all, bursting with flavor. You can tell the ingredients are high-quality and everything is prepared with care. The atmosphere is pleasant, neither too fancy nor too casual, just right for a great time. I highly recommend it, and I'll gladly return 👍

08/05/2026: The food was excellent, the skewers were superb!! Having menu options with both sushi and skewers was perfect for someone as indecisive as me 😄 The service was continuous, giving us plenty of time to finish our soup and salad! The place was calm and pleasant. I highly recommend it :)

17/05/2026: We visited as a party of two, and despite there being only a few other guests (4) in the restaurant, the waitress tried to seat us in a very unwelcoming way. The veg biryani was disappointing, honestly no better than ready-to-cook packaged food you’d find in a supermarket or on an airline. If you’re craving Indian food, I’d strongly suggest looking elsewhere. Update after owner review: 15-05-2026 Thanks for the response. My review was based on my actual visit and the dishes I was served. I understand restaurants may adapt food to local tastes, but calling a dish “Indian” should still carry a reasonable standard of flavour, ingredients, and preparation. The veg biryani I received did not meet that expectation, regardless of spice level. It tasted closer to packaged or reheated food than a freshly prepared restaurant dish. On seating, the restaurant had very few guests at the time, so the way we were directed to sit felt unnecessarily unwelcoming. I appreciate that taste is subjective, but my feedback remains the same: for someone specifically looking for Indian food, this was a disappointing experience.
