17/09/2026: Everything is perfect at this restaurant! The cuisine is subtle, the dishes beautifully presented, and the welcome and professionalism of the owners and staff are matched only by their kindness! It's an extraordinary place, and we've thought so for 15 years!

17/09/2026: First visit to Le Dauphin and certainly not the last! We loved everything, from the food to the service. You immediately feel like you're in a La Ferté-Bernard institution, a place that puts a lot of heart into its dishes. We opted for the daily menu, with two set menus that can be combined as you please: a wonderful freedom, and the plates were refined, generous, and beautifully presented. The service was attentive and friendly from start to finish. And the owner is part of the menu: her warm welcome alone is worth the trip. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience. 27/09/2026: A very warm welcome. The menu is simple but the dishes are high quality and everything is homemade. The burger is fantastic! As a bonus, it's even open on Sunday at lunchtime for a very reasonable price.

The dishes were served piping hot, the food was excellent, and the quality was truly outstanding. All this at very reasonable prices considering the quality offered! 04/10/2026: Le Cheval Blanc is part of the "19 Good Restaurants of Sarthe" association, which I believe now only has 9 members, and it truly deserves its place! It's excellent, even the €41 set menu is a real treat! The morel compote is simply divine, and the crème brûlée is one of the best I've ever had! Impeccable service, well done!

20/09/2026: Excellent restaurant, understated decor, carefully prepared meal, and well-chosen wines. The only downside is the noisy back room for groups. Otherwise, the quality of the service and the food was excellent; I highly recommend this place!

15/09/2026: The food is very, perhaps even too, French-influenced, to the point of being almost bland. The margarita, however, is excellent, and the service is quick and friendly. The decor is unique to the atmosphere, and it works well.

16/09/2026: The plancha grill was decent and the cocktails were nice, but be prepared to leave your shoes and clothes very dirty in the lounge area with the banquettes. A shame!

We, as well as all our guests, were delighted with the dishes served, which were a hit with everyone. **Areas for improvement:** * The cocktail hour started about an hour late because everything wasn't ready. * As the bride and groom, we didn't have a dedicated tray during the cocktail hour, which prevented us from fully enjoying the appetizers. * Towards the end of the evening, we felt the service was rather rushed to finish quickly.

12/07/2026: Far too long a wait this Sunday, 15 minutes wait for two ice creams, two drinks and 6 churros. After 10 minutes I went to see the manager who told me that they were short-staffed and that it was because of the churros, which were served cold.

Tasty burgers and fries, a great atmosphere thanks to both the staff and the (local) guests who came to get a burger. It was nice that—despite the crowds—there was time for a friendly chat with us.
