12/07/2026: Far too long a wait this Sunday, 15 minutes wait for two ice creams, two drinks and 6 churros. After 10 minutes I went to see the manager who told me that they were short-staffed and that it was because of the churros, which were served cold.

18/07/2026: A hidden gem in Old Lyon that's well worth the detour! At Armada, you'll encounter cuisine that surprises and dares to try bold combinations. Among the many dishes on offer, I had the opportunity to taste a creation featuring watermelon, cooked and then pressed, resulting in a stunning, almost deceptive texture, all enhanced with a perfectly spiced aguachile sauce. A particular favorite was the revisited parmigiana, with its dehydrated tomato tartare, meltingly tender eggplant, and delicate parmesan mousse. To finish, the Italian-style yogurt ice cream, accompanied by cherries and little blackcurrant stars, offered a perfect marriage of freshness and indulgence. This is truly creative cuisine that isn't afraid to break the mold. A special mention goes to Louise and Honorine for their attentive and caring service from beginning to end. A wonderful discovery that I wholeheartedly recommend.

08/06/2026: Everything was perfect, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. We tried almost everything on the menu, and it was all excellent. The only minor point for improvement concerns the sauces: we ordered the foie gras and pepper sauces, and it would have been helpful to have a small label or marker to distinguish them. We often mixed them up and used them by mistake. Aside from that, the experience was excellent.

17/05/2026: Absolutely terrible. It's not even 8:30 PM, but the oven is already off and it's impossible to cut a sandwich in half because the kitchen is closed! Meanwhile, the sandwich must have spent all day in the fridge, it's so frozen. They rush us out, telling us to heat it in the microwaves at the station... Closing at 7 PM is pointless with such minimal service. The prices, however, remain the same. The staff is unpleasant and clearly doesn't understand the concept of customer service.

20/11/2025: Family meal for three, Tuesday lunchtime, November 18, 2025. Always a pleasant welcome, and a very good meal (rabbit leg with mustard sauce - cod loin). Excellent value for money, €20 per person including drinks. I recommend this restaurant/bistro which also does takeout. Remember to book (especially on Thursdays).

20/06/2026: We had reserved a table for 25 people at 9 pm several weeks in advance, with pre-selected menus. When we arrived at 8:50 pm, the owner told us the table wasn't ready. Apparently, our table had been given to other people beforehand, and he hadn't managed the time. Furthermore, he hadn't communicated with his servers, so they didn't know there was another table to prepare. Consequently, the owner suggested we have two separate tables, a solution we refused as it wasn't what we had requested. Dear Mr. Owner of Bistroz, when you can't manage service time, take reservations into account, but you know how to openly disregard your customers, you should consider a different career path. A big thank you to his team, who demonstrated professionalism and responsiveness in setting up tables for us despite everything.
