09/08/2026: Tonight's experience: I arrived at 7:45 PM after reserving a spot on the terrace. Ten minutes later, after being seated, the waiter came to take my order: a salad with a melting heart, a rare double-patty burger, a beer, and a soft drink. Twenty-five minutes later, the order arrived, but the burger was overcooked. I called the waiter over to point it out—very nice of him! He took it back to the kitchen. The salad with the melting heart was cold, so it wasn't melting. I mentioned this to the waiter, but my wife didn't change it. Fifteen minutes later, my burger came back, and now it was just an overcooked patty. I called the waiter again, still very nice, who told me this wasn't normal. I asked for the bill and told him I was only paying for the drinks, which I had almost finished. The manager looked a bit grumpy but charged me €12.30. I even gave him €15 for the waiter. Too bad, the beer was good.

29/07/2026: It's very disappointing, but at lunchtime, we Asians were told the restaurant was full and we couldn't get a table, yet a French-speaking group (who were at the entrance asking if they could even get in) who didn't have a reservation were able to get a table. This hasn't happened very often recently, so it was quite a shock.

29/07/2026: A truly wonderful discovery! My wife and I came for dinner last night and had a fantastic time. From the appetizer to the dessert, everything was delicious. Each dish was as beautiful as it was flavorful, featuring high-quality ingredients, perfectly cooked dishes, and just the right amount of flavor. The portions were perfectly balanced: generous enough to enjoy without being overwhelming. We savored every last bite… and, to be honest, we almost wanted to lick the plates clean, it was so good (but we remained polite 😄). A big thank you also to the staff. The servers were remarkably discreet and kind: available when needed, without ever being intrusive. Professional service that greatly enhanced the enjoyment of the meal. Le Verger des Papes truly deserves to be better known and to attract even more customers. It's the kind of place you're happy to discover and that you gladly recommend. Thank you to the whole team for this excellent evening. We will definitely be back!

02/04/2026: Absolutely outstanding experience and food. First, the service is so warm and friendly, we felt like home. Second, the food both quality and size was outstanding. We had both a Tajine and Couscous, both very flavorful and of amazing quality. 1000% recommended.

28/07/2026: A lovely little outdoor restaurant, perfect for sharing with family or friends. No problem with strollers. The staff is incredibly flexible (we moved from outside to inside with a party of 12 without any trouble). Be aware that the parking lot entrance is very fast coming from Pernes... As for the food, the dishes are hearty and delicious, the fried items are excellent, and the whole kidneys are simply amazing. The lamb tripe was a bit small in portion. The desserts were also fantastic. All this to say that this restaurant is definitely worth a visit, but be sure to book a table on the covered terrace (which is a real plus in the summer). Enjoy your meal!

07/07/2026: We came as a family of three, including a child. Everything went very well; we were greeted upon arrival and our table was already set (we had made a reservation). For our main courses: Thai salad, butcher's cut, and chicken burger. Everyone enjoyed their meal. For dessert: floating island and raspberry mousse. No complaints whatsoever. The waitresses were kind and attentive. Thank you for a lovely time.

11/06/2026: La Fontaine Gaillon was lovely. Friendly hostess and staff, (shout out to M, our server who was very attentive but never bothersome), very cozy atmosphere and the food was outstanding. We had the turbot and chicken, both were delicious. I highly recommend trying this place if you’re visiting and not sure where to go, you won’t be disappointed. Oh and the cocktails and champagne were spot on as well. Au revoir! 🇫🇷

06/06/2026: 1 star for food- the worst beef filet that I’ve ever had. Weird cut and portion was ridiculously small, not even 200g which is standard. Fries were bad as well, very salty, oily and hard. Atmosphere was great though, very nice place to sit. Service was just ok.
