31/05/2026: A really lovely little hotel, very clean, tastefully decorated, not overpriced, and the staff were excellent 🤗👍🏻. The restaurant in the evening and the breakfast were also good 👍🏻. We were very pleasantly surprised and will definitely come back. We stopped there for one night.

28/07/2026: Absolutely fantastic for discovering the region's wines. Sébastien introduced us to some real gems. He's incredibly friendly and attentive, truly understanding his customers' tastes. I highly recommend this establishment, located next to the Ibis hotel. As mentioned before, you go in to browse, you hesitate, and ultimately you leave with everything you've tasted, without any sales pressure, simply because of a shared passion for the finest local products. We even bought some excellent local wines that we would have otherwise completely missed out on due to our lack of knowledge.

12/09/2026: The presentation of the dishes and the restaurant's layout were really disappointing. Not quite the atmosphere I was expecting.

12/08/2026: We left after waiting an hour and they still hadn't taken our order. As we left, the servers offered no apology or gesture of goodwill, only speaking to us once during the entire evening to bring the menus (after 20 minutes). We weren't even offered a glass of water. And yet the dining room isn't that big… The table next to us had time to order, be served, and finish their meals.

Everything was perfect: the welcome, the service, the cooking, etc. I highly recommend the steak with porcini mushroom sauce—it's absolutely delicious! 🥩😋👍 I hope to return soon. 31/07/2026: We had a wonderful dinner at L’École du Chêne in Gargas and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Provence or the Apt area. The menu was brilliantly adapted to the season — and even to the heatwave — with dishes that felt light, clever, and perfectly suited to the exceptional hot weather. We both started with the vitello tonnato, followed by the tataki de bœuf: tender, beautifully marinated, and full of the thoughtful flavours Matthieu is known for. The wine list is exceptional and great value. I practically lost my husband to it for half the evening — it’s that good. Déborah & Matthieu, with the lovely Barbara helping them, create such a warm, relaxed, down‑to‑earth atmosphere. Their new setting in the old schoolhouse is charming: cool indoors for hot evenings, and outside under the trees it feels wonderfully romantic. We finished with the blackcurrant sorbet and apricot dessert, both sublime. A fantastic restaurant, excellent value, and a team who truly care. We’re delighted to see them thriving in Gargas.

01/09/2026: A warm welcome. The staff's intellectual acumen is delightful. A beautiful, modern terrace, perfectly suited to this historic setting, offers a remarkable view of the Rhône Valley. The interior is refined and tasteful. And... it would be an understatement to say that the cuisine is exquisite and flawless from start to finish. It's simply perfect cuisine that evokes nothing but pleasure and enjoyment. Lieve and Philippe.

19/07/2026: Wonderful experience! We stayed one night with our family. From the moment we booked, the staff were incredibly attentive. Their friendliness and desire to please and make us happy were evident in every interaction. The hotel is very well located, the rooms are very clean and spacious, and the pool is a real bonus! I hope to return soon, especially to try the breakfast this time :) Thank you again for the warm welcome; I highly recommend it and will gladly return!

25/06/2026: Very warm welcome, clean room overlooking the inner courtyard, close to Avignon. The village isn't very lively; there are no places open in the evening.

08/08/2026: Closed on a Saturday night, no information provided, and the website clearly states it's open. A wasted trip from Marseille to Avignon. Completely lamentable lack of professionalism.

11/09/2026: A lovely setting amidst the vineyards. The staff is very welcoming and friendly, and the dishes are cooked over a brazier, which adds to the charm of the establishment. The only slight drawback was the lack of sauce accompanying the meats, and the fact that the cooking instructions weren't always followed.

31/05/2026: We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Hotel Le Rocher des Abeilles. It's a hotel with timeless charm, nestled in a very peaceful setting and completely surrounded by nature. A true haven of peace! - The Room Our room was spacious, impeccably clean, and had very comfortable bedding, ideal for complete relaxation. - The Dining (Breakfast & Restaurant) In the morning: A particularly generous breakfast awaited us, accompanied by delicious coffee and a superb selection of homemade cakes and pancakes. A real treat to start the day! In the evening: The hotel restaurant was a wonderful discovery. Special mention goes to the succulent "Creation" pizza, which delighted our taste buds, as well as the expert advice we received on choosing the perfect wine from the menu. - The Service Finally, a huge thank you to the entire team! We received a very warm welcome, always with good cheer. Thanks to your kindness, we felt like privileged guests throughout our stay. We will definitely be back!

26/08/2026: What a wonderful discovery L’Offset restaurant is! The setting is superb and truly evokes the New York atmosphere; you immediately feel at home. The service is impeccable, with a very friendly and attentive waiter. As for the food, it's a real gem: the dishes are excellent and beautifully prepared. I highly recommend it!

26/08/2026: We spontaneously decided to come here one evening. We had snails, squid, and salmon with salad. Everything was first-class, both visually and gustatorily. The value for money was also excellent. We had a wonderful and delicious evening. It was the best French meal we've had so far during our two-week holiday in France.
