02/11/2025: A very good meal with a welcome gesture of goodwill, as one of the dishes chosen was not part of the daily special, yet it was ordered as such. Special mention goes to the excellent chocolate fondant.

24/09/2025: Extremely unfriendly. Before even sitting down, we were shouted at by an employee for parking our race bikes next to the (closed) terrace. We left immediately, so I can’t judge the food.

10/04/2026: While the location is ideal and the welcome quite friendly, the experience ends there. The promises made at the entrance regarding "homemade" food are unfortunately far from reality. We ordered two steak-frites-salad, but we were served very poor quality sirloin steaks that seemed boiled rather than seared. As for the supposedly "homemade" fries, they were simply frozen. To top it all off, the bread was rubbery and the service extremely slow. The checkout unfortunately confirmed my suspicions: I could see a very cramped kitchen and a blatant lack of organization, making it impossible to maintain basic hygiene standards in the restaurant industry. This is an establishment where the basic rules (quality of ingredients, accurate menu information, and cleanliness) are flouted. I can only recommend that you avoid it.

09/04/2026: An absolute gem on Place de l'Horloge! The owner was incredibly humble and friendly, and made us feel genuinely welcome from the moment we arrived. The staff were equally kind and attentive, they even offered to take photos of us without us having to ask, which was such a thoughtful touch. The food was outstanding. Honestly 10 out of 10. As a bonus, this is a very welcoming and inclusive spot — black people friendly. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Avignon. We will definitely be back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

05/04/2026: A pleasant restaurant, although the quality-price ratio isn't ideal. The fried calamari was really overcooked, and the octopus was overcooked. On the other hand, the Maigret de Canard, pork ribs, and profiteroles were very good. A half-liter of house wine, which was good, cost €28, which I consider to be a bit excessive. The atmosphere is pleasant, and conversation is comfortable, given the low noise level. The service was definitely quick and courteous. The restaurant's location is very pleasant, and there's convenient parking nearby.

03/04/2026: A truly unique experience, as I won't be returning. I ordered a 50cl bottle of Domaine La Chapelle and paid the €22 requested, which is already expensive. But on top of that, they brought me a pitcher whose contents I didn't know. An extra-large fried calamari with absolutely no flavor, no side dish, no sauce—just a thimbleful of some kind of mayonnaise that was equally tasteless. A chicken tentacle for €29, also without any side dish or sauce—expensive per kilo! A rum baba that was completely dry in the middle, and I had to search for the rum because there was some kind of juice inside that had no taste whatsoever, even though it's supposed to be served with a bottle of rum. All this for €119.50! And I won't even mention the bread served sliced—unheard of! I just felt completely ripped off. We are a group of about ten couples who asked for my opinion, and of course, I shared my experience with them. I'm not saying goodbye because, as I've already told you, I won't be back.

Toppings for every taste and the service is always so friendly. Another lovely Friday evening with the family, and everyone enjoyed it! See you soon!

15/01/2026: We stopped there for lunch with Grecourt Voyages, and then at the end we were treated to a turkey for Christmas. A wonderful meal! The owner was very kind, welcoming, and smiling.

02/02/2026: We love this hotel; we've been staying here regularly for the past six years and never tire of it. The owners are incredibly kind and welcoming, and we feel right at home. The rooms are tastefully decorated and the bedding is excellent. We enjoy having breakfast in the restaurant during the winter and on the shaded terrace as soon as the weather is nice. Everything is designed to make you feel comfortable. We highly recommend it.
