As much for the quality of the welcome, the team at the top 👌 as for the peaceful atmosphere which emerges on this pretty shaded terrace where it is good to relax. We also enjoyed the catering, very good products and well cooked. We will not fail to return to the Ormeau restaurant during another trip to the region. 17/09/2024: Nice restaurant. Unfortunately we could only choose pizza or salad, but that was also very tasty. The desert tarte de citronella was very tasty. Friendly staff and a nice atmosphere.

08/09/2024: A hellish getaway! Yes, the oxymoron is intentional to emphasize the horror! We experienced verbal attacks and aberrant service in a very bland setting and a tense, even violent atmosphere. We left for a long weekend at this address that we knew (a royal arrogance the first time - but acceptable). If you have to specify your profession to be respected - which seems to be the case with the people at the establishment - we are doctors of science and letters in the world of scientific research and academic letters and lawyers. First we were greeted by the son who pointed at us because we didn't come with our dog and he had spent a lot of time arranging all the tables for people with dogs ( fortunately we didn't take her with us because she would have reacted really badly to the yelling from the son and his father... more details to come). Then he told my family member to go find his room on the first floor using his hands. The second clue that this stay was going to be bad! After entering our room on the ground floor, we opened the curtains to see our view of a dirt hill 2 meters outside our window. A room with malfunctioning lights and our room was smaller and dated than our guest's single room. No bathrobe for the pool, looks of disapproval towards certain customers (with dogs or customers younger than the majority clientele) and “Brown-nosing” (I avoid using the word in French here because it is so vulgar ) with these… in short! After being poorly served for the aperitif, we had a glass of house rosé (not very good) and looked at the menu. The father came to our table; he didn't sit still, barely looked at us while looking for the gaze of I don't know who, and he asked us if we had chosen. As soon as I said “not yet”, the father turned around and left, raising his hands and cutting me off before I could finish my sentence to ask questions! We all looked at each other in amazement and speechless! This reigning arrogance was not conducive to a pleasant evening. So, we got up and went to our rooms without having eaten dinner. While going out a little later for a walk, the son stopped us to ask what happened. I couldn't finish my answer without the father yelling at me saying we were liars, the son yelling saying this wasn't happening and that they had worked so hard to prepare the tables and dinner (a la carte or menu, so what was the problem?)! Then... the son said with unprecedented aggression that we were banned from the hotel forever! I tried to ask them if we couldn’t talk calmly – “no, that’s not possible!” You are banned! » It would never occur to us to go back! It seemed like they felt the customers were there for them and their “glory”. I also think that they couldn't stand a woman keeping her cool while daring to contradict them in French (my second language). Needless to say, we left the next morning. Finally we found a hotel in Vaison-la-Romaine where we had an experience of the opposite: an impeccable welcome, warm hosts - the most human and generous we have ever seen, everything in a calm, simple, joyful and pleasant setting with delicious meals. What a total change! I hesitated to write this review because I was, we were, traumatized by this nightmarish experience and I did not want any more retaliation, but it is true that someone who is mistreated must hold the abuser responsible; so we realized that I had to say what happened. As Max recently wrote, never come here unless you value disrespect, arrogance, and insults.

06/09/2024: I am stunned. Unfortunately, I witnessed Max Bayer's experience. The hosts are insolent and insulting. His wife was insulted, sworn at and challenged after her dog barked. Such behavior from hosts is indeed extremely unprofessional and inappropriate! the rooms are very basic and need renovation. Proper cleaning would also be desirable. Same thing for meals. No love is present. No quality. No taste. Disservice. 3 stars are definitely not justified here. an anonymous hotel tester.

13/08/2024: Nous avions hâte de venir découvrir cet endroit. Et au final très déçu dès que nous sommes entrés. Pour commencer il y a de la moisissure sur les « murs rajoutés » et de la moisissure sur les abats jours. J’avais l’impression d’être dans des toilettes publiques avec les mots écris sur ces murs sales. Pour notre anniversaire c’est un peu décevant. Il n’y avait pas beaucoup de monde et pourtant… la serveuse nous a complètement oublié et s’est même avachi sur notre table pour s’excuser. Je suis habituée à plus de prestance… Puis pour finir le moment du repas. Le cocktail est arrivé en même temps que le plat … je ne comprend pas. On a attendu un temps phénoménal sans rien et d’un coup nous avons tout ensemble ! Le plat était pas fou du tout. J’avais commandé des saint Jacques, la sauce était tellement forte que je ne savais pas ce que je mangeais. Mon conjoint une viande sans artifice ,.. Nous avons écourté la soirée à ce moment. Très cher pour pas grand chose … Sommes nous tombé au mauvais moment ?

22/06/2024: Endroit tres simpa, cuisine très savoureuse ! Cocktail avec ou sans alcool un peu cher mais un peu comme partout.. bon rapport qualité prix !

03/07/2024: What a wonderful performance hall! Between the 1920s style cabaret, the late 19th century Eiffel ball-style construction and musical, festive, popular or creative creations, we find entertainment and high standards in this place. For this 3rd time in this theater, we saw Carolina's cabaret, very good!

24/08/2024: Nous avons décidé ce soir là de dîner dans ce restaurant pas trop éloigné de notre lieu de résidence. Accueil et service sympathique, plat copieux et très bons. La seule critique que je pourrais faire ou le conseil que je pourrais donner, c'est qu'il serait bien que le couvert soit dressé au minimum sur un set en papier, car nous avons dîné à même la table ce qui n'est pas agréable du tout, un petit plus dans la décoration serait le bienvenu aussi. A noter que nous avons dîner en terrasse et que peut-être à l'intérieur c'est différent. Je n'hésiterais pas cependant à y revenir car l'endroit est agréable et sympathique.

20/08/2024: As always the products are well displayed, correct customer service, for 11:30 purchase of an apple pie: soft shortcrust pastry soggy due to the cream...is this a pie from the day before?...there is some taste but not the “wow” effect…

20/09/2023: Friendly and authentic hotel right in the wonderful Sault. I stayed there overnight after climbing Mount Ventoux on my racing bike. Check-in is possible as early as 3 p.m. The owner is extremely friendly and takes care of her guests. She also speaks English very well. Can highly recommend it.

29/10/2024: Une adresse à éviter. Rien n’est bon, la salade est fanée, le poulet pané a été probablement cuit plusieurs fois. Nous n’avons quasiment rien mangé. Au moins, on a gagné du temps car nous ne sommes restés que trente minutes.

12/10/2024: Grande déception tant au niveau qualité que quantité. Croque-monsique ultra industriel avec deux feuilles de salade verte pour 10,90€ N’y aller pas si vous souhaitez bien manger !

17/09/2024: On cherchait un restaurant avec des menus "à la carte" et qui ne soit pas à volonté et nous sommes tombés sur cette pépite ! En effet, c'est un petit restaurant qui ne paie pas de mine mais tout y est fait maison... Les nems étaient succulent et les différents plats qu'on a pris, également. Ça nous a fait aimer à nouveau la cuisine asiatique ! À recommander évidemment !

07/08/2024: Delicious sandwiches and salads. Fresh products that are so lacking elsewhere. Friendly managers and traders. The coffee is also very good. Sandwich shop which is worth the detour with very good value for money. 👍
