10/06/2026: I come here occasionally for lunch and am always warmly welcomed. It's best to book in advance to be sure of getting a table. The food is very good and the price is reasonable.

14/06/2026: I booked a table at the restaurant for 8:00 PM. I received an email confirmation. But unfortunately, the restaurant is closed.

16/05/2026: It's a shame this place is closed when we had a reservation, and closing time was announced at 9:30pm, it's now 8:30pm.

28/06/2026: I'm on it... It's the start of the season, it's June 28th, and there are tourists in La Tranche-sur-Mer. I arrive at 9 pm and Les Îles is closed. It's disappointing and a shame because the ice cream is amazing!!! I'm leaving without having been able to eat one of my favorite ice creams 😌

11/05/2026: A wonderful stay at the Hôtel des Dunes! The welcome was simple and warm, and the staff were pleasant and helpful. The hotel's facilities are fairly basic, but the rooms are beautifully renovated, modern, comfortable, and very clean. The bedding is excellent, and you feel right at home. The hotel is also very well located, easily accessible, and convenient for exploring the island. A very pleasant surprise; I highly recommend it!

15/07/2026: The service was slow, mostly staffed by young servers (understandable during peak season). The prices were reasonable, but paying €13 for inedible mussels is still too expensive. The mussels were so salty they were impossible to eat. Yet the ones on the children's menu were perfectly fine. The server's response: "I serve 200 a day." Okay, so that justifies doing a bad job 0.5% of the time? Second response: "No, but it's possible you got the last of the pot." Okay, so you don't stir the mussels while they're cooking? In short, no appropriate response, no gesture of goodwill, and no attempt to reflect on the situation. What a shame!
