06/02/2026: Hotel closed in 2026. Here is the email I received today following an inquiry. It doesn't clearly state whether the closure is permanent or not. "Dear Sir/Madam, We regret to inform you that the Cosmos Hotel will not reopen for the 2026 season. We would like to sincerely thank you for your loyalty over the years and for the trust you have placed in us. Your support of the Cosmos has greatly contributed to its history and success. Thank you again for your understanding and for all the moments we have shared. Sincerely, The Cosmos Team"

07/03/2026: We had a wonderful meal sharing a fondue. The craft beer is excellent; we bought some from the shop located within the restaurant. We also enjoyed a small but very pleasant country-rock concert. I highly recommend this place.

17/02/2026: The restaurant had a decent welcome. However, the wait to be served was far too long. The frozen fries weren't very good. The dishes are still relatively expensive, even if they are acceptable.

10/12/2024: Nice little restaurant, unfortunately if you don't have a reservation or are not part of the hotel we place you in the breakfast room.. we ate well, nothing extraordinary but overall it was good.

09/12/2024: Certainly the location is good but restaurant-wise it's the worst restaurant I've been in so far, a terrible atmosphere, we're spoken badly to, no respect to be honest. I had a very bad experience and will not go back there again.

15/02/2026: We had a wonderful stay at this very well-maintained hotel where pets are welcome. The bedding was comfortable. The welcome was excellent, and the breakfast was delicious and plentiful, served with a smile and good cheer. We highly recommend it.

26/01/2026: We tried the hotel restaurant on our vacation and it was a very good experience, very good staff, happy people with a smile and ready to serve us. The food was delicious and the prices were ok

08/02/2026: We arrived at 4:10 PM and sat at a table in front of the bar. Thirty-five minutes later, there was still no one to take our order. I understand it was busy, but several tables that arrived after us were served before us. So, I'd say it was either a poor welcome or poor service management, especially since the waiters still had time to be grumpy.

27/11/2025: Excellent route, parking is a bit less so. Very dark and full of potholes. Only one shower available, so sometimes you have to wait a bit and sign your name on the chalkboard upon arrival.

09/02/2026: 1 star – Outrageous service Reservation at 8 pm. Appetizers served after 45 minutes. They refused to take our order at the same time. When we asked to order again, we were told, "I'll see if it's possible." No response for over 1 hour and 10 minutes. And to top it all off, the owner had the nerve to say, "Well, they can just leave!" A remark we clearly heard since we were right in front of her. So we left without eating. Shameful wait time, total lack of respect. Avoid at all costs.

02/03/2026: We booked for a Sunday evening, and the restaurant called us back because they weren't taking reservations that day, but they were offering catering. So we ordered, the service was impeccable, and the dishes were delicious, full of flavor, and especially very generous! We highly recommend it.

01/03/2026: Best couscous in Épinal, very welcoming and excellent value for money. A must-visit in the Vosges.

23/02/2026: The meal was excellent; we thoroughly enjoyed it, even though we weren't offered a starter. The initial welcome was a bit cold, but it quickly warmed up. I recommend arriving on time, as the kitchen is only open for an hour and a half.

15/02/2026: Excellent Valentine's Day dinner. A big thank you to the staff for their warm welcome and smiles in this charming, cozy restaurant with its inviting atmosphere.

04/11/2025: First and last time for me. 7.30 euros per picon + 1 euro deposit for the glass. I want it to be a music festival, but there. I haven't been angry since Friday evening, to which I added a beer 🍺 for 5.40 euros + 1 euro deposit. They thought I was a minister or what.... To flee......

06/03/2026: Enjoy a crepe, coffee, and ice cream on the terrace. The restaurant is very clean, and the staff is extremely friendly. The crepes are delicious, the fillings generous, and the coffee is good. What more could you ask for?
