A very warm welcome, excellent food (and beautifully presented dishes!), impeccable service with a smile, and to top it all off, a fantastic sorbet to help with digestion. 22/06/2026: I don't usually leave Google reviews, but this time it was absolutely necessary. Quite simply, one of the best meals I've had in a long time. The flank steak was absolutely incredible, perfectly cooked, tender, flavorful, and bursting with taste. You can tell the ingredients are high quality and the food is prepared with care. Every bite was a delight. The service was also top-notch, with a welcoming and attentive team. Honestly, an excellent find that I highly recommend. I will definitely be back. Thank you for this wonderful experience!

17/08/2026: Unfortunately, we were quite disappointed with our meal last night. First of all, the wait was very long: we waited almost an hour before being served. Since we were seated on the terrace, the servers rarely came to check on us, which made the wait even longer. We wanted to order raclette, but we only learned once we arrived that there were no power outlets available on the terrace. It's a shame this wasn't mentioned or anticipated, especially when you come specifically for this type of dish. I had ordered a side of vegetables with my fish. For a €28 dish, I ended up with only two steamed potatoes and two small pieces of cauliflower, which I found really meager for the price. As for the burgers, we weren't asked how we wanted them cooked. They were therefore a little overcooked for my taste, which could easily have been avoided by simply asking. I understand that unforeseen issues can arise, but unfortunately, all these little things significantly impacted our experience. For the price we paid, we expected better service and more generous portions.

17/08/2026: I was very disappointed with my experience. We waited an hour and a half to be served (even just to get a carafe of water and a bowl for the dog...) because they forgot to send our orders through their system. In short, it was a long wait, and they didn't even offer us a few peanuts while we waited. The wine was served lukewarm, or even hot. The fries were dry, as was the burger, actually. I should have known better than to ask how I wanted my steak cooked; it arrived well-done, almost impossible to cut. It's worth noting that I wasn't the only one struggling to cut my burger; other customers were also trying to slice theirs... I had hoped I was an exception, but apparently not. Given the high rating of this establishment, I'm very surprised by my own experience. It's a real shame because the setting is very nice, the decor is attractive, and the servers are all very friendly.

07/07/2026: A wonderful discovery! The service was pleasant and efficient, and the meal was delicious and hearty at a very reasonable price. The only downside was that we'd eaten a bit too much to go ziplining afterwards, but the cable held up perfectly! Thank you for a lovely time; we'll gladly return.

11/08/2026: Excellent pizzas cooked in a wood-fired oven! We ordered by phone and once we arrived, the wood-fired oven heated the pizzas in just 2 minutes! The dough and ingredients were of very high quality. Highly recommended.

12/08/2026: A very warm welcome, a friendly atmosphere, local produce on the menu, we didn't stay long enough to try everything… the salads are generous, the flammenkuches are delicious (the goat cheese one, a delight!) and the crème brûlées with Vosges candy are a treat… In’houx bliable!

24/07/2026: A must-visit if you're in Vagney, the pizzas are delicious. The pizza is perfectly made, the dough is perfect, absolutely divine, the sauce is unbeatable, the atmosphere is great, and the prices are reasonable. A big thumbs up to the chef.

13/07/2026: We ate there last night on the terrace; the pizzeria is welcoming, the service is quick, and whether it's the pizzas, salads, or desserts, everything is delicious! Excellent value for money, we highly recommend it!

01/09/2026: A complete disgrace! The meat wasn't cooked properly, the service was slow, and my food arrived cold. They reheated it in the microwave... the result: an inedible hamburger bun and soggy fries. I don't recommend it and will never set foot in there again! September 1, 2026: The service was extremely slow. We didn't even have time to get the desserts from our set menus, and to top it all off, they didn't even offer any compensation! We paid for our entire menus even though we didn't get all the dishes! They didn't even offer my 3-year-old daughter, who was waiting for her cotton candy, a dessert! This is my last experience in Saint-Dié. This Buffalo Grill will definitely never improve!

09/08/2026: We ate at Le Chant du Bois on a Friday evening, and we had an excellent meal. The dishes were delicious and generous, and the desserts were too! It was quite busy, but despite that, there was no wait; the service was efficient! The staff is very friendly and efficient. If we return to the area, we will definitely come back to your restaurant with great pleasure!

21/07/2026: A lovely cabin with a cozy atmosphere and great ambiance. The snack platter was delicious, and the blueberry cake was a real highlight. The cappuccino, although from a machine, was still good. Overall, a nice stop – I'd gladly come again!
