26/01/2026: The service was impeccable and the food delicious... but a CATASTROPHIC romantic evening... the waiters suffered just like us, and we're well aware that our bill for two was €114 versus a table that would certainly have cost €1000, so we understand that they had to be given priority... But the shouting, the smoking room open directly onto us, the constant coming and going, the children "visiting" the kitchen with a "parent" during service, the toilets being used as a shower room, the cell phones blaring and video calls (so we can reassure you, their whole family is fine, even if they have a bit of a sore throat, but hey, he'll make the effort to have a digestif)... it was all too much. So yes, we "had bad luck," but we left without having eaten our fill and having had a terrible time... that's not what we like to leave a restaurant. We usually thank and compliment the staff and cooks, but this time the only words we could manage to say to the employees and customers who had the same experience as us (two couples and a table of five) were, "Good luck, ladies and gentlemen." 27/02/2026: Superb experience, refined cuisine bursting with flavor!!

23/02/2026: Very disappointed! We came once before, and it was great: fine and refined cuisine. But this Sunday, the dishes had a very heavy, overpowering sauce that was not good at all. We also had a very large portion of sweetbreads, which was sickening because it was too big, again with a heavy, thick, and very strong sauce. For dessert, we ordered sorbet, and we were brought three scoops with nothing else! Not a mint leaf, no small fruit for garnish, not a small biscuit, nothing for €15! What a disappointment for €180! We will not be returning to Karélian.

17/02/2026: Thank you! I've never eaten such a good mountain burger in my life. From the fries to the meat and the cheddar sauce, it was exceptional. The servers are very friendly. I highly recommend making a reservation. For a Monday, the restaurant was absolutely packed. Once you've paid, you can pet Michel the cat. Michel keeps a watchful eye on the restaurant's smooth operation 🙂.
