14/03/2026: The vegetarian pizza was easily made vegan (without cheese). The chef added vegetables that weren't on the menu (after asking if I was okay with it). Delicious! And the dog was a sweetheart!

08/11/2025: A very pleasant discovery. We were greeted by the pizza maker, who was so friendly and had a promising Italian accent. We ate delicious pizzas; the pizza dough was absolutely excellent, which is quite rare. The dining room is simple but pleasant, the prices are reasonable, and there's a very authentic Italian family atmosphere. We weren't expecting it; it was a lovely surprise.

06/02/2026: We miss you so much! I hope you reopen soon! The pizzas are so good, they taste amazing, we have to come back!

23/10/2025: A warm welcome, with generous lunch dishes! I recommend the all-you-can-eat cheese platter, featuring over 6 or 7 varieties. I left with a wonderful discovery of a Languedoc winery that I was able to taste on site.

30/01/2026: It's always a treat to eat here, I never get tired of it! These are the best in town, the taste is amazing, the dough is incredible, and the pizzas are generously topped. I hope to enjoy these pizzas for years to come.

26/03/2026: We just stayed at the Birchwood inn in Winnipeg for three nights and when I checked out I asked about the $50 gift card that they were promoting for night stay. Apparently because I booked two nights on Expedia and one with them they wouldn’t give it to me. No exceptions to the rules. Oh well Expedia is cheaper anyways!

24/03/2026: My son is relocating to NM from SC and stopped at Best Western Birmingham at the end of his first day. Checked in, dropped his bag in the room, used the restroom and left to get dinner. When he returned an hour later he checked the room and discovered bed bugs! He went to the desk and informed them and requested a refund for the room since he would be leaving to go to another hotel. He was told they do not issue refunds for bed bugs if it has been more than 30 minutes since check in.

06/02/2026: So-so. The crepes were very average. The service was pleasant but quite slow. In short, disappointed.

26/03/2026: Excellent brasserie in a very old part of Versailles. Very good food served by a friendly team. It's a shame that once it's full with customers, the noise from conversations becomes much too loud.

24/03/2026: Great place to eat typical French cuisine. Very reasonable prices Fish - turbot was fresh Ile flotanne desert to die for. Second visit since 3 years ago. I shall be back!!

20/03/2026: A disastrous experience For my birthday, we returned to Kaz d'Épices. We remembered the beautiful decor and having lunch in a Creole-style hut. But today, the unsmiling waitress had decided we were in for a bad time. Be aware that if you come as a couple (our first romantic dinner out in three years while our daughter is at school), you won't be allowed to eat wherever you want, even though the restaurant is half empty on this Monday lunchtime. Are you being punished, treated like second-class customers? No, you won't even be considered customers, but rather table-stainers who will need to be reprimanded if you have to be moved. It's not for lack of trying to change seats, even when we were being pressured to order because the kitchen was about to close... but always the same refusal. We're only two, so no Creole-style hut for us... in case other customers arrive! Where's the logic if the kitchen is closed? Throughout the entire meal, our booth remained empty, completely empty. Another one became available, but we still weren't allowed to go there. The dishes served were not good, nothing like what we remembered. Don't expect to have your taste buds transported; the smoked chicken consisted of three pieces of chicken drowned in half a liter of sauce, while the sausage rougail was served completely dry, without any sauce at all. Clearly, it's been a while since the chef set foot on one of our beautiful Creole islands. In the end, the person who took our money finally admitted that we could have been seated wherever we wanted... how disappointing! €94 for two people, and that didn't even include dessert or a "happy birthday" greeting. We were treated like we were in a cheap cafeteria. What a poor experience! We had enjoyed it, we came back, but we won't be going back again. Further to the owner's response below: his arguments fall apart, given that he initially offered us a table for four when there were only two of us. Our only request was for two seats under a traditional Creole hut... A complete lack of concern for the customer was our unfortunate reality.

15/03/2026: This restaurant is a gem if you want to discover Caribbean food. Not to mention the endless selection of punch and infused rum. The chef is super friendly and puts you at ease during your meal.

13/03/2026: The pizza was very good for a more than reasonable price, and they were also very understanding. They didn't hesitate to remake the pizza if there was a problem with the order. Honestly, perfect!
