01/12/2024: L'accueil est très froid, les crêpes sont correctes, sans plus.. mais le pompon est au moment de payer. J'ai pris une glace deux boules comme dessert. Ma compagne a demandé si c'était possible de ne prendre qu'une seule boule. Bien sur la patronne a dit OUI. Mais au moment de régler la note, la glace à une boule à été facturée au même prix que celle a deux boules, moins 50 centimes. J'ai demandé si il y avait une erreur. Elle m'a répondu C'EST COMME ÇA Une boule ou deux boules, il faut laver la coupe pareil...Réponse très commerciale. "Je vous laisse faire votre opinion sur ce comportement" A fuir absolument. Quant on va au restaurant c'est pour se détendre et passer un bon moment et, non pas être reçus par quelqu'un qui vous donne l'impression qui vous fais la gueule des que vous rentres dans l'établissement.

03/08/2024: Excellent evening on the terrace. The cuisine was delicious with fresh food. A big thank you to the cook and the waiters, it was a real treat. Looking forward to coming and trying the brunch and homemade couscous.

02/08/2024: The service, staff and food are exceptional. We often think of other addresses in Maisons-Laffitte, however they do not come close to La Forêt. The backyard is pleasant and we celebrated a friend's birthday there (his 25th birthday). We were received in the most pleasant way and we will definitely come back.

20/07/2024: Tout est parfait. La nourriture, la déco, le service sont exceptionnels. Nous recommandons vivement. Accueil au top avec le sourire de toute l’équipe ça devient rare pour être souligné 👌. Un régal total

04/07/2024: Très bonne petite adresse. Ça faisait un moment que je n'y étais pas retourné (genre 2 3 ans) Les deux serveuses sont très sympa et efficace. Les burgers, les frites sont vraiment bon !! Il faut juste penser à réserver :-) et pour le coup je reviendrais avant 2 ans cette fois.

18/11/2025: We received a very poor welcome from the woman who worked there on Tuesday evening. We wanted to buy e-cigarette liquid, and unfortunately, they didn't accept credit cards for purchases under €10, which isn't a big deal in itself. But then we asked if there were any other tobacco shops open, and she politely replied, "Yes, you'll have to look for yourself." So much for friendliness!

26/07/2024: Very kind and attentive, I often take takeaway directly from them and it is always excellent. Very good value for money

08/09/2024: Superb taste experience in a small, intimate restaurant with perfect, friendly and discreet service. The dishes offered are very fine and cooked with very fresh products. I made some great discoveries and enjoyed myself from start to finish, from the appetizers to the dessert, including the sake.

03/09/2024: A taste paradise. 12 place settings no more. I thought I knew Japanese cuisine and I didn't at all. Here we learn and discover unique flavors that are subtle and precisely crafted. The value for money is largely correct when you taste these wonders. All cooked before our eyes. It’s an address that is in my favorites and even my top 10 without hesitation.

25/06/2024: The salmon pizza is a pizza with smoked trout...Plus, poor quality trout with bits of gray fat on each piece. 1st and last time for me. Thank you for your response and your commercial gesture but I am not by the grace of the Almighty except for 2 pizzas. However, please note that delivering a trout pizza instead of a salmon pizza is considered a deceptive commercial practice. . I will let you read article L132-2 of the Consumer Code which heavily sanctions this type of practice.

24/07/2024: It was much better before... Today if you are not Portuguese or a regular, you have half the doses!!! Unacceptable! Also, check your final grade....just in case.... Really disappointed to have noticed this stupidity on their part. This place has (badly) changed after covid. Will never come back there again, too bad.

28/08/2024: Very warm welcome. Very smiling and friendly staff. However, the quantities on the plates are very light. We had very little meat in the bolognese and it was seriously lacking in salt.

20/08/2024: We just left this restaurant. The content of the risotto dish is very little, bland, rice on a small plate with 2 very thin slices of Italian ham, salad with a ready-made acidic store-bought sauce. My son had a lasagna, little one. It looks like we have to go to another restaurant to continue our meal, so small and not of adequate taste 😰. We live not far away and are used to restaurants in the neighborhoods and elsewhere. For the first time I'm writing a review on Google about a restaurant, so shocking for the crumbs and the prices. The first photo is taken at the start of the meal. 😂
