12/04/2026: We didn't really enjoy the meal we were served. Apart from the quiet atmosphere in the dining room because there weren't many of us, nothing was right. The hamburger was mediocre: soggy bun, acidic sauce, tasteless cheese, reheated baby potatoes, and the crumble was more like a cream with overcooked apples. Sorry, but we were very disappointed with this romantic meal...
06/01/2026: We are regular customers of this establishment. Generally, we are quite satisfied with the service and the food. I am a fan of good fish. We came for lunch on January 1st, and what a disappointment it was! I was cold throughout the entire meal, which is very unpleasant when you're eating in the cold. And yet, the restaurant was quite busy; it could have made the dining room feel warmer. Now, let's talk about the food: the salmon was very good, simply presented, but tasty. The prawn ravioli was very dense, giving it a mushy taste, and was served lukewarm but cold inside. Furthermore, I wonder where the prawn was. The next course was a small veal tournedos served on a bed of mashed potatoes with a mustard sauce on the side. I didn't like the sauce at all, and in fact, I left it on the edge of my plate. As for the dessert, I won't even mention it; it was a huge disappointment. We found it so sickening that we only managed two bites and left everything else. And now, let's talk about the bill. Of course, we knew the set menus were €48 per person, but when we arrived, I paid €98, and the worst part is, I didn't even realize it right away. Not only did we not eat well, but we were also ripped off. It's not the extra €2 they charged us, but the way they handled it, especially since the bill was printed on the computer, making it impossible to make a mistake. I find it very unfortunate because I used to enjoy coming to this place. Restaurants these days are increasingly disappointing.

07/10/2025: Locally sourced, flowery, and light cuisine served on a cozy terrace in the shade of a chestnut tree on Place Charles Panier. And if Nini tells you in her sing-song accent that she doesn't have time to serve you right now... Give her time and come back a little later after taking a little stroll around Entrevaux ;-)
05/10/2025: The concept is great, the dishes are excellent and colorful. The downside is the atmosphere created by the owner, which isn't very pleasant; it was a bit awkward.

04/05/2026: We were three couples out for a stroll in Annot, looking for a restaurant on a Monday at lunchtime. We stopped at Au Café du Commerce where we received a warm welcome. The various set menus we ordered were excellent. I highly recommend this place.

07/05/2026: A noisy, working-class restaurant with a pleasant terrace.
It's a shame my warm Camembert was served cold, the cheap shoulder ham was disgusting, the rest of the charcuterie was very good, and the salad dressing or the bottle of vinegar must have been poured directly onto my plate, making it inedible. Overall, a very mixed experience for a €15 dish. It's a pity because it wasn't haute cuisine, but it was comforting at its core.
05/05/2026: A pure moment of bliss! The owner is funny, always full of humor, and the daily specials are fantastic—you can't go wrong eating there.
A minor complaint about the ice cream, but the desserts are always top-notch. A special mention for the fig tart.

Given the prices, one would legitimately expect the food to be of a higher standard. But the food falls far short: it's very disappointing and clearly not worth the price.
The prevailing impression is that this establishment prioritizes its location and transient tourists more than the actual quality of its cuisine. The setting is attractive, but the dining experience doesn't live up to expectations.
What's most surprising is that several negative reviews already mention the same problems. It's probably time the establishment took these comments into account rather than continuing to ignore such recurring criticisms.

07/04/2026: The gourmet coffee (or tea) is worth the trip. Everything is 100% homemade and the portions are enormous. A delight! The restaurant is very well located. The dining room is welcoming. The service is quick. The welcome is very warm. The dishes are delicious... Everything is perfect.

04/04/2026: We came to this restaurant because we had excellent memories of it a few years ago. But what a disappointment! The waitress was smiling, but a man who could be assumed to be the owner arrived after us, ignored the other diners, and stayed behind the kitchen in his street clothes. Our dishes—royal couscous and lamb couscous—came with undercooked merguez sausages, pan-fried but raw, lots of semolina, a single piece of carrot, a turnip, and tasteless broth in a tiny bowl. There was absolutely no attention to the service, no checking if everything was alright, no one to ask if we needed anything. That evening there were seven people. Previously, we had cumin-spiced chickpeas as a welcome drink (not canned), and tea at the end of the meal. This time, nothing at all. We paid but received neither a thank you nor a good evening. We will not be returning. We are from the area and will not be going back.

28/02/2026: As a customer for 10 years, I know this restaurant well… and there were no unpleasant surprises today.
The reopening period is behind them, and the place has returned to its usual standard, with even some great improvements. Fresh salads, a generous hot box, and quality charcuterie. For me, the veggie burger was tasty and well-balanced.
Always a pleasure to come back.
