07/08/2026: Seasonal restaurant located at the iconic Col de Latrape. With a wide terrace, it's an ideal spot for lunch after hiking or cycling. The place is traditional and cozy, with a seasonal menu made of fresh products. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Booking is recommended, especially at the high season peak.

15/06/2026: Close to the centre in a quiet location. Very comfortable establishment with a simple and efficient welcome, air conditioning is a plus, very good bedding, the breakfast is complete with very good homemade jams and, essential for us, dogs are welcome.

22/08/2026: We received an unexpected call at 8:48 pm (without much hope), and the pleasant-voiced waitress invited us in… and when we arrived, a table for two was set and waiting for us! The service was impeccable, and all the staff greeted us with a smile. The food was excellent (we ordered meat). This is an address to remember and definitely not to miss if you're passing through Saint-Girons.

The perfect spot to escape the Pyrenees heat, relax, and chill with something delicious. 🌞🍴 A lovely little oasis where the only thing hotter than the weather is the food! 😄 One point though it’s not very clearly indicated on Google maps. This needs to be updated.

13/07/2026: Unfortunately, the food was completely tasteless, even with lots of added salt and pepper! I have serious doubts about the "homemade" ingredients...

07/07/2026: The welcome was adequate, which is the only positive point. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing: the starters (a basic salad and a Spanish appetizer) were clearly lacking in flavor. The main courses (a croque-monsieur and tripe) were equally bland and tasteless. There was a palpable lack of effort in the kitchen, which is disappointing for a roadside diner where one expects generous and tasty meals. The somewhat noisy atmosphere in the kitchen didn't help either. Overall, a culinary experience that needs improvement.

26/08/2026: Better than in Barcelona. The rice was very good, and so was the salmon. They have a lot of flavor.

05/07/2026: Unfortunately, a rather mediocre experience: a Savoyarde cheese that didn't taste like cheese and was undercooked, a goat cheese with honey where you could barely taste the honey, and all of it far too expensive for what it was. I don't recommend it at all. We ended up cooking our own meals anyway to enjoy them. I hope that if I ever recommend your restaurant again, things will have changed for the better. Sincerely,

30/03/2026: We entered the establishment; there were four of us. When we asked for a free table among the many available, the person asked if we were going to eat. I said yes, and immediately afterward, they looked me up and down and said, "Are you sure?" with a horrible look, giving me a bad feeling. We sat down to eat, and the service was a disaster. We waited a long time for the food, and for the price, there are places across the street that are much better. If we return to these slopes, we are sure we will not go to this establishment.

20/04/2026: I'm giving it 5 stars to be above the reviews. But otherwise, avoid it! It's too expensive, the portions are too small, and on top of that, it's all frozen food. Seriously, €3 for an iced tea, €25 for a set menu that's the size of a small starter. Seriously, avoid it!

04/04/2026: We received a very warm welcome and the staff were very professional. The hotel is very clean, and we appreciated the half-board option with its generous meals and breakfast, which were pleasantly served by both the owner and the waitress.

08/09/2026: Our hotel was closed today. Right across the street is this pizza stand. There are a few tables in front. Or you can order, and the friendly lady will tell you when it's ready. It took about 30 minutes for us. But it was worth the wait. The pizza is absolutely delicious. The crust is nice and thin and crispy. Who would have thought you could get such a good pizza here in the middle of the French Pyrenees? They come in two sizes, 26 and 33 cm. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you so much.

05/09/2026: The pizzas are simply excellent; the dough, which they make themselves, is incredibly delicious. However, I recommend calling ahead to order pizzas during peak season, otherwise you'll have to wait to enjoy them.

01/07/2026: The campsite is fine, but the so-called beach is dusty and the berges are terraced. Choose the other beach on the lake instead.

09/06/2026: The campsite is well located by the lake, with lots of greenery and is very pleasant. We received a warm welcome.

27/07/2026: We stayed here this weekend and I'm going to preface this review by saying that this hotel is exactly what it says on the tin - it's a 2* hotel in an extremely convenient place, for a relatively low price. It's an old building. Is it terribly well-maintained? No. Is it clean and comfortable? Absolutely. It's the kind of place where you stay for a week of skiing so you're on the mountain all day and only in the hotel in the evenings. As a summer getaway from the heat, we really enjoyed being so close to the river and listening to it with the windows open. The facilities in the rooms are somewhat sparse but do include a fridge and a microwave, and there's a kitchenette on the first floor where a kettle, cups and cutlery etc can be found. Ideal for the traveller on a budget that doesn't want to eat out every night. The bed was comfortable and the sheets were clean. Soaps and towels are provided. The hotel is generally not manned, but the couple of staff we did see around were friendly and informative and seemed hopeful to make our stay a good one. I would strongly advise you to follow the instructions given on the website and NOT the instructions provided in the booking email. Along with another family, we turned up at 5pm expecting to be let in, but the desk isn't manned until 6pm. You have to call the number listed on the website to get the code for entry and collect your key from the counter. We ate at the restaurant our first night there and had a good experience. Again, the staff were friendly. The food was solid quality. The recommended wine was very nice. We didn't feel that it was overpriced. Overall, you get exactly what you pay for. The breakfast is mostly prepackaged, but there's fresh bread and fresh coffee (strongly advise to take your own teabags) but it's also only €8 and you can eat as much as you want. If you're looking for convenience, minimal interruption and reasonable pricing, it's a good option.

01/03/2026: Very nice, not too expensive. The rooms are very, very small and it's really right on the road and a bit far from the ski lift to walk to, but it's right on the river, the people are friendly, the water pressure is good in the shower, the beds are very good, the restaurant is very good.
