The building's facade is a bit dated and not particularly impressive, but once inside, the welcome is excellent and you immediately feel at home. The restaurant has retained its old-world charm, while being very well-maintained and spotlessly clean. The menu includes country soup with the option of seconds, a simple cold starter, followed by a good, generous, and unpretentious meat dish of the day. A cheese course is offered before dessert. The desserts are frozen, but still reasonable for the price. The service is quick and efficient, ideal for workers and those short on time at lunchtime. Finally, the presence of many regulars is often a great indicator, and this is certainly the case here. An honest, no-nonsense place with good value for money for lunch.

27/04/2026: Impeccable service, a hearty country soup that evokes childhood memories, a generous starter and a delicious main course, all in keeping with the beginning of the meal, cheese and wine included, for a worker's lunch at €16.50 – it's a trip down memory lane, and you have to head back to work with a full stomach. I wish I could find restaurants like this every day...

01/04/2026: The decor is delightful and charming, the welcome is warm and friendly, and the food is delicious and full of surprises, even for non-vegans. The icing on the cake is the sweet treats served with the coffee. An address to keep in mind for a future visit ❤️

20/06/2026: Reservation made. The place is all stone, magnificent interior. Welcome: ++++++ Service: ++++++ Excellent homemade meal. Set menu at €26, nothing to complain about. The owner is really very friendly and his wife is an excellent cook. Come without hesitation! You'll have a wonderful meal without breaking the bank.

09/06/2026: Simple but efficient restaurant. What's really nice is seeing the owner's good humor. As for the owner's wife, she's probably in the kitchen! 😂😂😂😂 Set menu starting at €16, very reasonable.

14/02/2026: A very pleasant pizzeria with friendly staff. The prices are affordable, with the option of ordering half pizzas plus salad. They use regional and traditional products. The pizzas are very good and generous. We will return if we are ever back in Saint-Affrique.

09/06/2026: Good hotel. The breakfast was very generous and high quality. The hostess was also very friendly and pleasant. Our small dogs were welcomed with a small jar of treats and a ball each. The manager gave me a discount on the payment for the dogs, which was very kind of her, and we appreciated it. The room, the bedding, and the bathroom were excellent. I highly recommend it. We will definitely be back.

27/06/2026: The pizzas are awful, they're frozen! We ordered 8 and not one of us could finish them, they were so disgusting.

We received a very warm welcome and enjoyed a delicious plate of duck legs with a lovely potato, cream, and a salad, followed by a wonderful chocolate fondant and coffee ice cream, just the way I like it. 13/05/2026: I took my order inside from a very pleasant man who gave great advice and took the time to explain everything. And to top it all off, he was very clean. The restaurant is impeccably hygienic. Furthermore, the ingredients aren't exposed; they're hermetically sealed, preventing insects from getting in! (I didn't see any insects, by the way.) The sandwich was absolutely delicious from start to finish! As you can see, it's the perfect place to enjoy a healthy and satisfying meal! What saddens me is that the restaurant is at risk of closing due to a lack of a new landlord... (Please, find one! 🙏🏻)

28/01/2026: The size of the sandwiches is ridiculous. We weren't expecting that, given the photos of the sandwiches online which look enormous. Otherwise, they're not bad, but they're nothing like the last generous experience I had 15 years ago at another sandwich shop of the same chain.
