The dishes are very well presented, and the service is top notch, too bad we don't stay in the area long otherwise we would have come back and as far as the price is concerned it's top notch, it's very inexpensive☺️

10/12/2024: Nice place, where I had a delicious Salade italienne. BUT: there is insufficient transparency about food / drink options and their prices. No menu outside. And inside just a blackboard with the meals’ main ingredient, but no details. No drink menu either. It should be easy to provide clear menus outside and inside.

05/04/2025: So disappointed... I took a baguette menu with a weird green sauce, and frankly, half of the pot was just oil rising up. The next day I was sick. First and last time for me, that's for sure.

26/01/2025: A must-see place in Marseille! At Fonfon, the bouillabaisse is simply excellent, a real treat for the taste buds. The white wine from Domaine César is the perfect accompaniment to this feast. The setting, in the heart of the charming Vallon des Auffes, is both friendly and typically Marseille. An address that I recommend with my eyes closed for an authentic and gourmet moment!
24/01/2025: The tradition is preserved at Fonfon. Delicious and generous Bouillabaisse and Bourride. Simple, efficient service with joy and good humor. We had an excellent lunch with a view. I recommend.

02/07/2024: Arriving as a group to celebrate a birthday, we were very well received.
Unfortunately, I was quite disappointed with the cuisine which, although quite good, did not break 3 legs of a duck. The portions were very fair (I came out still hungry) and the choice is quite limited if you don't eat meat. On the other hand, I had never laughed so much with a waiter until tonight. It’s an evening that will remain engraved in our memories, thank you for that!
Difficult to park nearby, but possible

11/12/2024: Very disappointed with my last order. The pizzas were not good. Although I have been ordering for 2 years I have noticed a change in the preparations. Almost raw dough, mozzarella that has no taste and really compared to the previous times I ordered it was not good. Yet I order once or twice a month… change of owner?

27/08/2024: Sublime, I'm starting again. Except for the slightly long wait, nothing to say in terms of quality and price. The entrecôte and minced steak were cooked just right. The salad was fresh and the fries were homemade. Too bad for the floating island, a little too sweet for us but still very good

07/10/2024: You can get really tasty burgers in France but not at Le Panier.
After travelling in the country for over a month and frequently eating burgers in many brasseries, the Le Chef burger I had at Le Panier was one of the worst!
Everything was greasy and tasteless. I asked for it to be "a point", but the meat was so overcooked as to be as thin as the plate! The bread was 90% of the burger! I was hopeful for the frites but they too were drenched in grease!
Too bad....Le Panier was in a rush to push out orders without the quality control.
Definitely not worth €22; go to a taco shop instead.
NOT recommended!

The ice creams are not very rich, unusual tastes but nothing elaborate.
Very bad quality/price.

Coconut - mint. There is no coconut or mint flavor.
Candy. Acceptable.
We asked for pistachio and they gave us one that apparently was lavender, not nice at all.

The kitchen is good.
Have a drink or dinner yes.
Not for lunch. Too much noise, it looks like a company canteen when employees are having lunch!!!

19/09/2024: An exceptional place. Always a pleasure to eat in this place because there is a lot of choice with quality products. Everything is excellent, from the board to the desserts and the wine. Perfect staff and service. I highly recommend.
18/09/2024: The best wine bar I've been to in Marseille!!! A very warm welcome, attentive staff who advised us well in all the details. A wide choice of wine and Italian dishes. I recommend “the royal platter”, a treat. Oh yes, there is even a terrace on the small square. Not to be missed

A cette cuisine authentiquement italienne on ajoute la gentillesse des patrons , de toute l’équipe , vraiment c’est rassurant , cela existe encore , une cuisine de qualité par des personnes à la même image !
