13/10/2025: A great discovery during our vacation in Corsica. We went twice. The pizzas are excellent and the service is very friendly. I highly recommend it.

03/01/2026: A super friendly welcome from both the cook and the waitress, and the food was absolutely divine by the fireplace. It's a fantastic place you can go to without hesitation!

03/10/2025: A cozy little restaurant with a fantastic view and a real millstone in the dining room. Marie and Françoise offer huge pizzas and delicious Corsican dishes. The braised wild boar is superb! The restaurant is family-run, and you can tell immediately. Even if they don't quite get the French on the menu right, everyone is patient, helpful, friendly, and even humorous! We felt very comfortable there!

02/11/2025: The service was a disaster: rude, arrogant, and ignorant—at least they brought water for the dog (+1 star). Long wait times—not because of the food, but because of the service! The food was delicious. The ice cream for dessert (pistachio & coffee) was very bland—I wouldn't have been able to tell the difference with my eyes closed.

03/02/2026: Great hotel for a stopover, but I wouldn't recommend it for a longer stay. Pros + It's located in the charming little town of Solenzara. + Clean, with cleaning and fresh towels every day. + Basic but tasty breakfast (€12.50 extra). Cons - We had the unrenovated room. A big disappointment after the beautiful photos and the outdoor area! - Noise from the road next to the hotel, which makes relaxing by the pool difficult. - Not geared towards foreigners; no one speaks English. - Shower is uncomfortable; it gets hot/cold/hard/soft.

11/01/2026: This is a place with real character, and the owners had the brilliant idea of ​​renovating the dining area, resulting in a truly magnificent space. The outdoor pool and dining area are very pleasant. The suites and rooms are of exceptional quality and cleanliness. The welcome is warm and friendly. It's close to the city center and the port, yet not disturbed by the nightlife. So you can relax in complete tranquility. You also have access to a restaurant/pizzeria where you can enjoy quality service and dishes at a very good price. There is parking available opposite the hotel or nearby near the post office with ample spaces. It's one of the few hotels open year-round.

15/03/2026: I bought some almond canistrelli about 15 days ago which were more than disappointing and you often have to search for the almonds.

02/11/2025: I introduced my five-year-old son to the country of my childhood. He also learned that at the sports bar, the waitress disdainfully calls him "the kid" and that his coloring book on the table is disruptive to the service. Yes, the charcuterie platter is for "the kid"—he likes lonzu and coppa, but apparently his age is a problem. In short, the food and chef were top-notch, but the awful service ruined our last evening before leaving. Again, sorry I don't have the accent. P.S.: My visit took place at the end of August 2025. I'm referring to the sports bar in Cauro, and on August 29th, they had charcuterie on the menu.

02/09/2025: Definitely the best pizzas I've had on the Isle of Beauty. The staff were incredibly attentive. The delicious homemade myrtle liqueur they offered was the icing on the cake 😋
