24/05/2026: An authentic Corsican establishment. A fantastic welcome. An amazing restaurant. A very local sheepfold with a lovely little private pool (thank you for setting the heat pump to 30 degrees for us 😉). We'll be back.

20/05/2026: This is a review about the restaurant. Avoid. If you don't like the food, don't say a word, pay and leave right away! The owner started insulting me during checkout for saying the food was bland. He did ask how I liked it, but he probably knew already because I had told the waitress earlier, who was nice about it. He called me cheap for not ordering water (I ordered a beer), postured inches in front of me like he was going to punch me in the face, and waited for me in the parking lot for more insults. Anyway, food is not very flavorful and slightly lower prices than Sartene (which has bigger portions) if you're headed in that direction. Haute-ville in Bonifacio is very good, lots of homemade dishes but more expensive. This restaurant charges 3 euros for filtered water (restaurants must provide water for free by law if you order food, which every restaurant we went to does). Insults and intimidations are free. Totally unhinged. Don't stop there.

27/08/2026: A fantastic discovery during our vacation! We came three times in ten days, and the reason we returned so often is simply because it was excellent! The setting is truly magnificent and very pleasant, the staff is lovely, always smiling and attentive, and above all… the food is superb! Flavorful, expertly prepared dishes made with beautiful ingredients. We wholeheartedly recommend this place and will gladly return on our next vacation! 👌 A huge favorite!

03/09/2026: Playa Baggia was a wonderful experience from start to finish. We’re from Venezuela and came here as a family, and the service was truly exceptional — the whole staff was friendly and attentive, and they even made the effort to speak a bit of our language, which made us feel even more welcome. The food was divine. I ordered the entrecôte, and it was cooked to perfection with an incredible flavor — honestly, we have no complaints at all. Every detail was taken care of. On top of that, the place itself is beautiful, with an ocean view that adds an extra special touch to the whole experience. We would absolutely come back. Highly recommended!

24/07/2026: A perfect 10 experience. Dinner was spectacular, especially the cannelloni and chicken skewers, which were delicious and perfectly prepared. In addition to the quality of the food, we were delighted by the warm and friendly service we received throughout our meal. They accommodated our schedule and needs without any problem, making us feel very comfortable. Furthermore, the restaurant is in an incredible location with mountain views. We enjoyed dinner so much that we decided to return the next day for breakfast, and it was a great choice: it was just as delicious, and the service was excellent once again. Without a doubt, this has been one of those places that leaves a lasting impression. It has made us want to return to the island and, of course, to this establishment again. Highly recommended!

22/07/2026: Excellent restaurant! The cuisine offered by Marlar and her husband is excellent. You can enjoy Corsican specialties, wood-fired grilled meats, and more. For dessert, we recommend the chestnut cake! All this on a very pleasant shaded terrace. Marlar is very welcoming and offers helpful advice if you wish to explore the surrounding area.

16/08/2026: We hired Le Hussard for our wedding in July at the Domaine de Mare e Sole, and what a joy it was! From their support and advice to their organization... everything was absolutely perfect! The venue was simply magnificent; we couldn't have dreamed of anything better. And the lighting was simply stunning! The catering, also provided by Le Hussard, was delicious and plentiful. The products were top-quality, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed everything, from the cocktail hour to the wedding cake, not to mention the brunch the following day! A special mention goes to Titienne and Quentin, who were with us throughout the day and took such good care of us. Thank you also to Marie-Jo for the decorations, which were exactly what we had envisioned. In short, we couldn't have asked for anything more. We recommend them 100,000%!

05/06/2026: A casual burger joint near the center of Ajaccio, which we tried for dinner one evening in early June. The menu is extensive, offering a variety of sandwiches. The highlight of the sandwich, in my opinion, is the artisanal bread (you can also choose frozen bread, but for a euro more, I recommend homemade), incredibly soft and flavorful. The sandwich is well-seasoned and topped with plenty of fries. We paid about €18-20 per person for a sandwich, fries, and drink, which I think is in line with other places here in Corsica. The outdoor seating is on a quiet street.

30/06/2026: We had a wonderful time at L’Albatros! The setting is magnificent, the food is delicious with high-quality ingredients, and each dish was as beautiful as it was tasty. A huge thank you to Laura for her professionalism, kindness, and smile. She took excellent care of us from beginning to end, always available, attentive, and offering great advice. Her warm welcome and exceptional service greatly contributed to making this experience even more enjoyable. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant. We will definitely be back!

29/06/2026: I was very disappointed by this experience. Fortunately, the servers were very kind, smiling, and did their best to provide good service despite the circumstances. However, the atmosphere was truly unpleasant. The owners constantly stood outside the restaurant, staring at the employees and monitoring their every move. This constant surveillance made the employees uncomfortable, and it showed. Finally, the owners handled the payments themselves, which didn't exactly encourage tipping, as there was no guarantee it would actually go to the servers who had provided the service. It's a real shame, because the staff deserved to be valued more than working in such an atmosphere.
