16/03/2026: Excellent welcome and very accommodating; the wine served wasn't very good (too young and green), but the owner didn't hesitate to change it without charging extra.

11/03/2026: New owner/manager, but it's still a pleasure to go there for a coffee and a pastry. Also a great place to stop for a meal.

02/10/2025: Essential takeaway. Mussels, squid, prawns, sardines... grilled, with or without fries. Regular customer = Always excellent. Warm welcome and attractive prices.

12/03/2026: We came for lunch, it being off-season so it was usually quiet. However, we were refused entry, officially because they were overwhelmed and didn't want to compromise their service. There were empty tables and they didn't seem that overwhelmed. The way they said it and the lack of consideration from the person we spoke to makes me think there's another reason. In any case, it's not a commendable practice.

27/03/2026: The establishment itself is quite pleasant, and the staff are generally friendly and courteous. However, upon arrival, we were not welcomed promptly and had to wait several minutes before being attended to, which detracted from the initial impression. I also had the opportunity to try the cigar lounge, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. The ventilation is notably inadequate for a space dedicated to cigars, resulting in an overwhelmingly smoky and uncomfortable environment. I would strongly recommend that management reassess and significantly improve the aeration system, as it greatly impacts the overall experience. Additionally, the pricing of the drinks is relatively high compared to the level of comfort provided. Given these factors, I would not recommend the cigar lounge in its current state.

21/02/2026: Excellent tapas, not just good but exceptional, with a delicious rosemary mayonnaise. The place and the service are top-notch, great music, great atmosphere, the chef is lovely, as are the waitresses…

01/01/2026: We stumbled upon this restaurant during a short trip with friends in the area, and it was a wonderful surprise—a truly fantastic find! We all thoroughly enjoyed our meal (children and adults alike). Everything is undeniably fresh and homemade, the waitress and chef are lovely, and the place is charming and cozy. Our final words upon leaving: "It's a shame we don't live nearby so we can come back!"

08/03/2026: The table setting was nice, and the meal was quite good. But... The waiter, with his boundless energy, constantly offered commentary; it was impossible to move without being subjected to a remark, and he was quite pushy. Exhausting. Furthermore, there was a significant lack of basic service. Very surprising for a restaurant of this caliber. It's a shame the service was so different from the food.

15/11/2025: Incredible! A true chef in an authentic setting (the Ascain pelota court). We tried the menu twice, and both times, all we could do was offer our congratulations and express our satisfaction to the chef. Don't hesitate, go and meet him; with his talent, you'll meet a real character. Thank you for your warm welcome and the attention you gave us.

15/02/2026: Excellent place. The portions are generous and delicious. The rillettes served as an appetizer were very good. For the ham and tomato, I would have liked two more slices of bread, as there were four of us. The ribeye steak was tender and well-seasoned. The mashed potatoes were superb. No complaints whatsoever. Everything was perfectly cooked and well-prepared. We had a lovely time.

09/03/2026: I dined at this restaurant with a group of eight. The service and welcome were quick and friendly. The cocktails were delicious, and the rib-eye steak was tender and a good size. The sea bream fillet was also incredible! I highly recommend this restaurant and its staff. Plus, the view is superb!

09/03/2026: Fantastic experience at La Plancha! The focaccias were simply delicious: generously topped, bursting with flavor, and with a truly excellent dough. You can tell the ingredients are high-quality and everything is made with care. The manager's welcome is particularly warm; you immediately feel comfortable and welcome. The server was also lovely, very attentive and smiling, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The atmosphere is friendly, and you can feel the genuine passion behind this place. I had a wonderful time and will gladly return. I highly recommend it!
