11/07/2026: We found this lovely place by chance on a wine app. We went and, besides being immediately impressed by the wine selection, we were also surprised to discover Enrico, a passionate and knowledgeable Italian host who offered us excellent wines paired with equally good cheeses. If I lived in Paris, this would be a must-visit! Highly recommended.

02/10/2026: Absolutely fantastic evening here. We came spontaneously because the restaurant next door, where we had originally planned to eat, was closed. We had three incredibly well-prepared tapas: figs, mussels with Gorgonzola sauce, and tuna tartare. It was truly well worth it, and the service was super friendly and welcoming. We would definitely come back; excellent value for money.

22/08/2026: Excellent meal, high-quality ingredients! There were 10 of us with a reservation. The service was very pleasant, the portions were perhaps a little small for some dishes, but the flavors were definitely there! There was a small error on the bill, but after pointing it out, the professionalism was evident, and I thank you for that; we gladly left it as a tip. I highly recommend it!

16/10/2026: I spent a week in Bidart at the end of September, and in the late afternoon, after excursions, we always stopped there; excellent bread, cereals and crepes, and the staff too.

26/09/2026: Lunch for two… The meat was excellent quality. The service was a bit slow despite the restaurant being quiet. With the sweetbreads, I would have preferred a thicker jus rather than this one, which was a bit too thin for my taste. Finally, and at this price, it's a major disappointment 😡 the salad wasn't rinsed properly: it was crunchy 🦷 Very unpleasant.

20/09/2026: I ate at El Nacional restaurant with three friends. We were disappointed with the overall experience. Not the food, though; it met our expectations. We arrived at 8:30 pm, didn't order any appetizers, just glasses of wine, but our main courses weren't served until 10 pm. Admittedly, one of us ordered a perfectly cooked pork chop, but in my opinion, that doesn't justify a 1.5-hour wait. The service was slow, that's a fact, but you can never rule out a temporary organizational issue. Even though nothing was mentioned to us about it, and we didn't receive a single word from the servers before our food arrived. The real problem arose when the bill arrived. Two of us hadn't ordered dessert and had left early (due to the long wait). We paid for our meals, but the glasses of wine weren't on the bill. We pointed this out, and the cashier told us, "The server must not have added them," to apologize for the wait. Great, a very appreciated gesture. Later that evening, I learned from people who stayed for dessert that the glasses of wine had been added to the bill afterward. Unaware of our conversation with the cashier, my friend paid for her glass of wine and pointed out that the two glasses of wine still on the bill weren't the same ones she had. The cashier "forgave" them the two extra glasses. My friend didn't say anything, so she charged for all three glasses. What shocks me most isn't so much the wait, even though an hour and a half for grilled meat and fries raises a serious organizational issue. What shocks me is the dishonesty. They pretended to offer us a discount, added the glasses of wine to the bill afterward, and made our friends pay for them. You either offer a discount or you don't. In what world do you think we won't talk about this amongst ourselves and that it won't get out? Anyway, I didn't intend to let the wait ruin my experience, but after this incident, we won't be going back.

22/09/2026: We had a very good time at this restaurant with very friendly service. Logan is very attentive to his customers and has a real sense of hospitality.

21/09/2026: We came to eat at this restaurant and, to be honest, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! The food was good. But the service… Thank goodness Logan was there to raise the bar! As for Mickael and the owner, we're still waiting for even a smile! Apparently, that's asking too much. Not to mention that we received our main courses before we'd even had a sip of our cocktails. At least the service was quick… but then again, it was 9 pm and I don't expect quick service. It's a shame because we won't be back because of the service, even though we ate well! Everything is important in a restaurant: food, ambiance, and service. A word to the wise.
