06/07/2026: We stopped by without a reservation, party of 9, and were seated outside! Initially a bit worried that the availability of seating might mean something, but the reviews were good enough we took the chance. Well I’m glad we did, because we had a fantastic meal. The service was great, super friendly and tolerant of our limited French. The charcuterie platter, whitebait, sangria, and torrijas were a highlight for me.

23/11/2025: For my part, the meal was very good, the welcome was nice, just the accompanying portion was very minimalist, a small dish of crushed mashed potatoes and a small dish of sautéed potatoes which for me was the value for one person and we were 6 adults plus I found it very expensive.

31/05/2026: A very good tapas spot in Bordeaux's Saint-Michel district. Excellent value for money and quantity, and the service is superb as well.

29/07/2026: We went in for a few beers at the bar; we weren't planning on eating. We asked the bartender, and he said we'd have to wait five minutes while he finished serving. It seemed reasonable since he looked busy. After a few minutes, we saw he'd finished and asked him again, but he told us we'd have to wait. After 15 minutes at the bar, we saw him go back into the dining area and start cleaning tables and tidying up. He ignored us, and we left without being served. I hope the fact that we're Spanish didn't influence his decision.

26/07/2026: I first learned about Xarnegu some time ago through the novel "The Smile of Magdalene," which includes some scenes set in this charming village of Bidache. I finally went back, and today I returned during the Santiago Festival. I loved it and highly recommend it! I'll be back. Thank you.

12/07/2026: A wonderful discovery! For a Sunday, the atmosphere was lovely and the restaurant was quite busy. The waiter was very pleasant, funny, and immediately put the customers at ease. The tapas were delicious, the prices were reasonable for the quality, and the ordering system was very original and convenient. A place worth discovering; we'll gladly return!

22/02/2026: We had a wonderful time at La Po’Pote restaurant! We went as a family and everyone loved it. The dishes were truly delicious, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The staff is lovely, very friendly, and has a great sense of humor, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. The welcome is warm and you immediately feel at ease. The decor is also very nice and contributes to the friendly atmosphere. We had a fantastic time as a family and we will definitely be back! 😊

10/05/2026: It was great! We ordered three appetizers to share; the croquettes were delicious and the tonkatsu pork was just perfect! For our main courses, we had two octopus dishes and a chicken with bacon and cheddar. Everything was amazing! We'll definitely be back next time we're in Cassis! You can go there without hesitation! Special mention to the waitress who was lovely and to the chef who truly knows his ingredients!

15/06/2026: Being from the Paris region, we eagerly await our annual holidays in the Pyrénées-Orientales, and one thing is certain: a trip without a visit to La Patanegra wouldn't be a proper holiday! It's become a must-visit for us, to the point that we go at least once a week during our vacation. The quality of the products is always exceptional, with outstanding charcuterie, generous and flavorful platters, and a selection that perfectly showcases the region's specialties. The welcome is always warm, the service efficient, and the atmosphere friendly. You can feel their passion for good products and their commitment to customer satisfaction. I recommend it 100%!
