29/07/2026: The egg mayonnaise appetizer for €2.20 is amazing 😋 The gnocchi were delicious. The service was excellent and generous. Really good value for money, which means we can eat out a bit more often without having to go to soulless chain restaurants. Keep up the great work!

26/06/2026: The pea pan cotta as a starter and the grilled octopus as a main course were absolutely delicious, nothing to complain about! A minor point: the strawberry ice cream with dessert had a slightly artificial taste to me, and the price was a bit high just for a main course and dessert without a drink, but the taste was definitely there.

11/08/2026: Nice evening at Au Dernier Métro, as always. Ordered the foie de veau, perfectly rosé, and the beef tartare. Very cool waiters. Also discovered that the original restaurant-bar was founded in 1948 under the name Saint-Brieuc and renamed Au Dernier Métro in 1992.

31/07/2026: This place is the gem of bedarieux and coming here ended up being the highlight of our France trip. The food and wine were locally sourced, authentic and delicious, and the hospitality from Maxine and Christine was unmatched: We celebrated a friends birthday meal here and they went out of their way to make the occasion extra special. We were so grateful we stumbled across this place and I highly recommend you take the time to go if you are nearby.

28/07/2026: You simply must visit this awe inspiring hidden gem. Food so wholeheartedly complete, made not only with the most fabulous ingredients but also a great deal of passion. Christine's food rivals that of any top restaurant in the country, and the woman herself is nothing short of a wonder - with whom it was a delight to share the company of. The shining jewel in the crown of this restaurant is without a doubt Christine's ample bio-organic/natural wine selection - with local bottles on offer that you cannot find anywhere else in the world. Earnestly, the most amazing selection of wines I have ever tasted - the information of which was expertly translated by the most amazing friend of the bar/regular and now good friend of ours Maxime (without whom the night would not be complete - a true asset to the town with a spectacular array of knowledge on the drinks served who seemed fated to be drinking there the same night). If there was any reason for me to return to this part of France, it would simply be to revisit this magical little place - a cultural experience like no other and one I won't forget any time soon. 18/07/2026: The food was superb; we thoroughly enjoyed our meal at this restaurant, which specializes in grilled fish and baby squid. The cuisine is simple and authentic, showcasing the quality of the ingredients. The service was excellent, with incredibly friendly staff. We received a very good recommendation from our host at our accommodation in Le Teich. A place to remember!

25/07/2026: Thursday, July 23rd, a perfect girls' night out! The welcome was fantastic, the waitress was smiling and full of helpful advice, the service was seamless, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was so warm and inviting that you could have stayed for hours. Honestly, I absolutely loved it. I recommend it 100%.

10/07/2026: Excellent service from Kevin, a very wide selection of wines and rums, superb food (the croquettes in particular), and a lovely terrace. We had a wonderful time at this bar.

17/08/2026: My favorite restaurant! I come whenever I can—birthdays, parties—they offer a very convenient group menu. The best tapas in terms of quality, quantity, and price. The service is quick, the place is very nice, the atmosphere is cool, and on Thursday evenings they have a piano/singer night—it's fantastic.

14/07/2026: The royal paella is still as delicious as ever, made with fresh ingredients—everything we love—and in a generous portion! Even our Belgian friends ask for it every year when they come on holiday to Alsace. The only downside "for them" is that they don't deliver to Belgium. We highly recommend this place. 19/05/2026: We visited the brasserie. The atmosphere was very pleasant. We sat and ate in the vaulted cellar (presumably the former wine cellar). It was very quiet and secluded from the general hustle and bustle. Very romantic. The service was very friendly, and the concise menu was sufficient to find a suitable dish. The wine recommendation was a perfect match for the meal, and everything was delicious. The brasserie is highly recommended.

02/08/2026: Yes and no Weekday dinner for 5 people Yes: Nice menu and wine list Location Very spacious exterior with many different nooks and crannies Musical ambiance Food okay Good meats No: Chaotic service Multiple mistakes with the dishes and a long wait to get them back on track 45 minutes to get a bottle of wine, practically for dessert! Charcuterie board served with half a sausage... not sliced Bottle of water ordered and never arrived No attention to detail (no bread, no water...) Also note that the restaurant only opens at 7:30 pm and the gates are literally closed until opening time, leaving customers on the street. In this case, the gates were finally opened at 7:40 pm. It's a shame, good concept and decent food but the customer approach leaves much to be desired which gives a disappointing experience and a bitter taste for the customer.

20/07/2026: Our experience was entirely negative for several reasons: the restaurant was practically empty, yet we had to wait 45 minutes before being served, the explanation being that the food is cooked fresh. However, three of the seven dishes we ordered consisted of a sirloin steak (ordered rare and served well overcooked), two zucchini slices (really just two), bagged salad, and a few fries (which were good, though). Another dish was a hamburger with salad and fries. Two others were half a hamburger patty and fries (in this case, a favor granted by the waitress). After waiting 45 minutes for these dishes that required no preparation whatsoever, we asked for a hamburger patty just 15 minutes after being served, and it was refused, with the excuse that the kitchen was closed. However, we were given extra fries... the logic is hard to understand. We should mention that we had made a reservation the day before. Another point to note: we paid €25 for a sirloin steak (overcooked), two zucchini slices, a few salad leaves, and some fries. We felt a lack of consideration for the customer, both in terms of the quantity and the poor quality of the food compared to the price paid.

12/08/2026: Get off the beaten track, leave the main square and head towards this restaurant; you won't be disappointed. The talo and marinated pork are must-tries. The wine on offer, a Rioja full of structure and freshness, will complement them with a delicate authority. Much like the owner himself: generous, accommodating, and colorful, just like his cuisine. And, on your way to the restrooms, take a detour to the left with your flashlight to see the municipal pelota court. A memory of a wonderful discovery and a warm encounter, during a stopover (highly recommended in this village) on the way back from Portugal.

05/08/2026: We had a wonderful meal... Don't be fooled by appearances; this little restaurant isn't very visible and doesn't look like much, but that's not the point... The menu is simple yet authentic, everything is fresh and homemade. Follow the advice of the waiter-chef who will give you a warm welcome. A delightful experience.
