25/08/2026: Hello, I don't usually leave reviews, let alone bad ones, but this... First, at the entrance to the parking lot on the roundabout before and on the front of the building, there are large posters advertising a €17.90 menu. We went inside and couldn't find it on the menu. I asked the waiter where this menu was located. The response was: "Oh no, we haven't had that for a long time. Now it's the same menu but for €24.90." Okay, never mind. Second, the cleanliness of the restaurant... The entrance doors were very dirty with marks. You'd think they'd had a lot of customers, but no, at 11:50 am there were only two cars in the parking lot, which was already suspicious. I'm a regular at the Houdemont location, where you always have to wait if you haven't booked (not a problem, this one is great). In the restaurant, the waiter greeted us and seated us (his uniform needs improvement, his t-shirt was completely dirty and stained, but oh well). Our feet were stuck to the fake wood floor, which was shocking, so we thought, "Okay, let's give it a try anyway..." Then, I was already wondering if I should leave without eating, out of fear... and when I turned back to the bar to ask the waiter about the supposedly nonexistent €17.90 set menu, I saw him lift his t-shirt and wipe his perspiration with it, and that was the last straw! I looked at my friend and told him, "We're leaving." I'm sorry for this bad review, but there have really been too many missteps in just a few minutes at your restaurant. Sincerely

25/08/2026: We stopped by impromptu on our way home from vacation and had a very pleasant time. The food was excellent, and the staff were very friendly and smiling. Because it wasn't busy, we were able to chat with the waitress; it was very enjoyable. I highly recommend it.

16/08/2026: It's a shame the quality of the ingredients, which used to be emphasized, has changed. It's 100% Metro brand, and the meat is halal…

25/07/2026: Poor ingredients and a significant drop in quality (for example, supermarket-style round bacon). My girlfriend, who is intolerant to cheese, ordered a "cheese-free" burger from the website and received one with raclette cheese, and I ordered a burger with cheddar and also received raclette cheese (which I don't like at all...). For your information, we ordered an hour before closing time, and we were the only ones in the restaurant, so it wasn't a mistake. By the way, don't bother choosing a salad; you'll get iceberg lettuce anyway. I'm very disappointed because I used to love eating homemade burgers, but it's pointless if I can't eat them...

02/09/2026: I don't usually leave bad reviews, but this time… I arrived at 10:35 PM to pick up a takeout order. The self-service kiosks weren't working, so I went to the counter. I was told that takeout orders stopped at 10:30 PM and that after that time, I had to use the drive-thru. The problem is, I'm in a van and it's impossible for me to get under the drive-thru barriers. The woman at the counter explained that she couldn't do anything for me and had no solution to offer. So I told her I could simply walk to the drive-thru to place my order, but I was told that was forbidden… It's completely absurd: the restaurant continues to serve customers at the drive-thru, located just a few meters from the counter, but refuses to take orders at the counter. Especially since online, the establishment is listed as being open until 1:00 AM. The result: they clearly refused to serve me even though the restaurant was still open. So I left empty-handed and crossed the road to a competitor, where I had no problems at all. It's high time they reviewed this business policy and showed a modicum of common sense in these kinds of situations.

16/09/2026: Disgusting, absolutely no taste. Avoid at all costs 🤮🤮 I ordered the chicken thieboudienne and tilapia with allocot on Uber Eats, and nothing was good. Even the alloco was inedible. I ordered a chicken thieboudienne on Uber Eats, and it had absolutely nothing in it. It seemed like there was nothing else besides tomato, not even salt. Plus, they poured a bizarre tomato sauce over it; I've never seen anything like it. It looked like just tomato and oil, nothing else. I also ordered the braised tilapia with alloco. It had no taste whatsoever. Even worse, the alloco, which is so easy to make, was made with rotten plantains. How can I describe it? It was greasy and sticky, all piled on top of each other. It was truly horrible and inedible. I couldn't imagine ever seeing a plate of allocot that I couldn't eat. And the chili pepper that came with it was awful. The only positive point is the price compared to other African restaurants. But I would honestly have preferred it to be expensive and well done.

29/08/2026: I used click and collect so I wouldn't have to get out of my car because I was in a hurry. I received a very poor welcome from a young man who practically dropped my bag without checking if I was holding it properly, and he even bumped my side mirror as he left. When I got home, I noticed the ice cream was missing. As usual, something was missing (a book, a toy, etc.). So I went back. I received no apology, and when I pointed it out to him, his colleague was just trying to hold back her laughter. I don't see what's so funny. The least you could do is apologize. We shop at your store very regularly, and you're lucky it's the closest to us, because otherwise I would go elsewhere. But I believe we still have the right to a decent and respectful welcome! Next time, I will ask to speak to a manager, hoping they will be more respectful of their customers!

13/09/2026: Excellent experience at this place! Very short wait time, served quickly. The owner and staff are very attentive to their customers! A new baking method, fresh and delicious bread, clean service, and a dining area where we could sit down and enjoy our meal! I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and would return without hesitation. I highly recommend it! I felt I had to leave a positive review amidst all the negative comments that I'll probably never understand.

05/08/2026: The Bastille Subway is always there when no one else is. Open at all hours, loyal through thick and thin, and honestly more reliable than any situationship in 2026. Some relationships come and go. This Subway, however, remains open.

21/07/2026: The sandwich was okay, but the cashier on duty on July 21st AM was absolutely unprofessional, wearing pink jogging pants and with no polite greeting. She should be sent straight to the unemployment office.

25/08/2026: On Saturday, August 22, 2026, I ordered a 280 TM Original with an extra charge for two slices of bacon. Surprise! No tomatoes, no onions, no bacon, just steak and cheese. Plus, there were only two people in the order; it wasn't crowded at all. I'm disappointed. I should have checked before leaving, but this isn't right. We trust them, I'm disappointed.

25/08/2026: Like most of these places, the staff are everywhere at once, and things get forgotten almost every time you order. Forgetting fries is a real shame when you're using a drive-thru. And checking orders should be done by the staff, not the customer. Forgetting sauce, on top of everything else, is charged at 50 cents. It's not the price... it's the principle of charging extra for things that aren't included in the order. And if you have the misfortune of asking the server for your sauces, they just hand them to you without a word... it really makes you want to go back. Some are very friendly, others less so.

16/06/2026: Honestly, this is a restaurant to avoid at all costs. A restaurant that leaves its garbage bags lying around everywhere doesn't inspire confidence. Very often, there's a pile of garbage bags near the restaurant, attracting rats and pigeons. How can you trust people with your food when they don't even respect their environment? Food is stored in basement boxes with a proven presence of rodents... Stay away and protect your health.

14/09/2026: I just grabbed a Subway at Dijon train station. I asked Henry, the Subway employee, if he could serve me my meal quickly since I was almost going to miss my train. He was incredibly efficient, courteous, and understanding—so much so that I'm currently on the platform, waiting for my train, which hasn't arrived yet and is running perfectly on time! Henry exceeded my high expectations, and with a smile. Thank you to him and his team! :) I highly recommend him.
