23/08/2026: Hello, During my visit, two young saleswomen were present. One was smiling and welcoming, while the other seemed grumpy about working on a Sunday. (She was the taller of the two and, I believe, had tattoos.) I simply asked her to add a few more pickles. She replied that she could only put six slices per person. However, in every Subway I've ever been to, no one ever mentions slices; it's ridiculous. Besides, I pay for a 100% customizable sandwich. She seemed annoyed by my request and said, "Well, I'll add two more since I'm not a wimp." What an inappropriate remark! I'm not usually a difficult person, and small details are trivial to me. But people's lack of customer service makes me lose patience.

22/08/2026: No pastries for breakfast. No cookies. No Munfins. Nothing but donuts. At 10:30 a.m. And they're supposed to be defrosted...

20/08/2026: Went to the drive-thru on a Sunday at lunchtime, nobody at the drive-thru and hardly anyone in the lobby. Order was incredibly fast, maybe too fast… A full Big Mac arrived without sauce or salad… outrageous! Add to that the incredibly salty fries and a cheeseburger dripping with sauce… I was going to go to a competitor, but next time I won't hesitate.

Today my favorite coffee shop had a power outage, so I came here—no other choice. What a pleasant surprise! I'll be back.

03/08/2026: A disgrace. We were the last order at the kiosks. Barely after we ordered, an employee came to turn off the kiosks and complained that other orders had come through. The employees were arguing because they were "supposed" to finish at 11 pm, but other customers insisted on ordering from them. Completely unprofessional; we could hear them complaining and arguing. Some customers received their orders in person, and the employees turned off the lights two minutes after receiving them. I've worked in the restaurant industry, and I know it can be frustrating to receive last-minute orders, but that's the way it is. You need to review your policy or implement make-up time for employees who have to stay late. Half the menu was unavailable. We went home with our order, even more disappointed. We had ordered two XL meals, dips, and a Giant burger, and we realized that we had received two small, half-filled cups of drink with each meal. That's not even half the size of an XL drink. The fries weren't XL either. I often order here, but I can confirm this is the last time; there's always a problem with the orders.

But still, it's the closest McDonald's to my house, and being the gambler I am, I thought, "Come on, with all these negative reviews, they must have fixed it by now." Well, no! So I'll add my two cents... I placed my order at the drive-thru, a simple order, just one Best Of meal, nothing else. There wasn't even anyone there, it was quick. (Okay, the challenge was easy.) And yet... I paid for a Chicago Bacon (more expensive than a regular one, mind you) but without the bacon... it's unbelievable, but in a bad way.

16/08/2026: My sister came in today for fries. Seeing a crowd in front of the chip shop, she asked the woman how long the wait would be for just one fry. The woman told her 5-10 minutes. My sister replied, "5-10 minutes?" with a surprised look. The woman answered, "Yes, because there are still four more burgers to make." My sister clarified, saying there was no problem and that she was just asking for confirmation because she found it very quick (we were expecting a longer wait given how busy it was!) and that it was a good thing! Then, the man turned around and said rudely, "We have other customers, would you like to go to the back?" pointing towards the kitchen. So, if my sister had said the wait was long, fine, but that wasn't the case at all; on the contrary, it was actually a good thing for you! But of course, she's just a young girl ordering a fry, so that justifies acting tough… a customer is a customer, and you can always build a loyalty. When I get fries in Maubeuge, I always come to your place; I was even supposed to eat there with a friend tomorrow, but after this experience, I'll make sure no one I know ever spends another €1 there, since apparently, being rude is free at your place.

22/08/2026: A very nice restaurant with really stylish neon signs, in a clean and pleasant location. 🌟 To use the restrooms, you need to ask for a token, but unfortunately, the door doesn't always open, which is quite annoying. A major drawback: the wait was extremely long. 😕 Despite this, the staff behind the counter remained smiling and welcoming. However, the dining area was much less welcoming: it almost felt like you had to coax a word or a smile from the staff. A mixed experience despite a very pretty and clean restaurant.
