25/02/2026: Time hasn't stood still at Le Vauban. Le Vauban brings culinary traditions back to our plates... I must admit, I was blown away by the simplicity and deliciousness of my dishes. The service was as warm as the smiles that accompanied every bite. I'll say it: I tasted the best cheese omelet in over 20 years... And I'm not even mentioning the desserts—they were simply divine. It's clear you'll be back!

24/02/2026: Hotel, restaurant, concerts—everything is absolutely top-notch! Just be sure to choose your concert carefully, as some are just okay, but most of them are excellent. And the food is delicious! 👋

08/03/2026: Back after a long absence, through my own fault. My mother, my 16-year-old son, and I were won over again. We tried some appetizers and were blown away by the pickle roll. My Caprice des Dieux burger was fabulous; my mother and son even tasted my breaded cheese. As usual, there was no room for dessert. But my sister loved their Oreo milkshake. Can't wait to come back. Thank you for everything, Dave, and for your incredible kindness at all times.

05/03/2026: My usual crêperie was full, and I stumbled upon this timeless restaurant tucked away in a courtyard near the Quimper train station. Everything seems frozen in the 80s/90s: spacious tables, period decor, a welcoming waiter with his lanyard draped over his arm, a wine list binder with photos and descriptions of the wines and their producing regions, Tavel served in an ice bucket with glasses regularly refilled 😳 The food is simple, homemade, and delicious. Wines are reasonably priced and mostly available by the half-bottle. A very pleasant surprise that I will gladly return to.

16/01/2026: Le Patio is a restaurant that deserves to be better known. Almost invisible from the main avenue near the train station, it's tucked away in a small courtyard (hence the name "Patio") and you have to pass under an archway to reach it. The atmosphere is incredibly warm and inviting, thanks in large part to the yellow color scheme and the wooden furniture. We were greeted by a gentleman, a most charming and pleasant man. His attire was impeccable: black trousers, a white shirt, a black waistcoat, and a bow tie. You'd think you were in a grand Parisian or Lyonnaise brasserie. I complimented him on that! As for the food, it's all fresh and prepared on-site, with about five or six appetizers to choose from, two daily specials: one fish of the day, one meat of the day, and about five or six desserts, including a cheese plate. The prices for the meal, aperitifs, and wine list are very reasonable... Don't go there to show off; you won't be seen from the station avenue. Go there to enjoy a pleasant time around a lovely, home-style table, in a warm and peaceful setting, with impeccable service. I absolutely recommend it and will return on my next trip to Quimper.

25/02/2026: Hi, this is a really nice bar/tobacconist with Marc at the helm and his very friendly staff. The restaurant is very good, the service is quick, they just need a few more brands of rolling tobacco like Le Frérot in 20g rolls, Burton (I hope they'll order some). There's a great selection of CBD products and magazines, games, Illiko, and PMU (horse racing betting). In short, a comprehensive range of services. I highly recommend stopping by for a drink or a meal, you won't regret it. Thanks to the team!

The venue was perfect, the rooms were also very nice, and the food was excellent. They were all very professional and took a lot of stress off our shoulders. The result was fantastic, and everyone was delighted. The entire team was kind and lovely. 👌

02/03/2026: A family experience... We loved the simple yet effective concept. The service was quick and the staff very friendly, both in the kitchen and in the dining room. The food was excellent, with very good ingredients and generous portions. Of course, the restaurant operates on an "all-you-can-eat" basis, so you won't get the best crêpes in Brittany, but you'll get very good crêpes with plenty of different toppings. A big thank you and best of luck!
