05/03/2026: My usual crêperie was full, and I stumbled upon this timeless restaurant tucked away in a courtyard near the Quimper train station. Everything seems frozen in the 80s/90s: spacious tables, period decor, a welcoming waiter with his lanyard draped over his arm, a wine list binder with photos and descriptions of the wines and their producing regions, Tavel served in an ice bucket with glasses regularly refilled 😳 The food is simple, homemade, and delicious. Wines are reasonably priced and mostly available by the half-bottle. A very pleasant surprise that I will gladly return to.

16/01/2026: Le Patio is a restaurant that deserves to be better known. Almost invisible from the main avenue near the train station, it's tucked away in a small courtyard (hence the name "Patio") and you have to pass under an archway to reach it. The atmosphere is incredibly warm and inviting, thanks in large part to the yellow color scheme and the wooden furniture. We were greeted by a gentleman, a most charming and pleasant man. His attire was impeccable: black trousers, a white shirt, a black waistcoat, and a bow tie. You'd think you were in a grand Parisian or Lyonnaise brasserie. I complimented him on that! As for the food, it's all fresh and prepared on-site, with about five or six appetizers to choose from, two daily specials: one fish of the day, one meat of the day, and about five or six desserts, including a cheese plate. The prices for the meal, aperitifs, and wine list are very reasonable... Don't go there to show off; you won't be seen from the station avenue. Go there to enjoy a pleasant time around a lovely, home-style table, in a warm and peaceful setting, with impeccable service. I absolutely recommend it and will return on my next trip to Quimper.

01/06/2026: A warm welcome and a very pleasant setting with a garden that's well worth a visit. The galettes—one with goat cheese and the other with Guémené andouille sausage—were generously filled and delicious! I highly recommend this crêperie.

31/05/2026: We were totally surprised. It felt like a cozy village pub. The value for money is excellent. We received exceptionally friendly service. The galette was very generously filled.

14/05/2026: Excellent, I had a great time, the girls are wonderful, and the welcome was very warm. Everything is homemade, a must-try!

13/05/2026: Too expensive: €24.90 without drinks. Very long wait to be served, and you have to go there yourself. The "anti-waste" option costs an extra €3. Toilet: no toilet paper. Meh… I don't recommend it.

19/05/2026: We stayed at the Armoric Hôtel in Bénodet for three days during a gathering of a group of cycling tourists in April 2026. The quality of the hotel's services and the warm welcome from all the staff were remarkable and allowed us to have a very pleasant stay in a relaxing setting with a very convenient location. 16/05/2026: A wonderful discovery! The atmosphere is warm and the unique decor is truly out of the ordinary. As for the food, the fish kig ha farz (a rare dish on the menu) was excellent, and the desserts were perfect. My only suggestion: offer a gourmet coffee with the chocolate fondant!

07/06/2026: Having heard so much about this restaurant, we made a reservation (required). The dishes were very generous and delicious. However, we waited 45 minutes for the first course and quite a while for dessert. A shame.

29/03/2026: Excellent service from Géraud in the dining room and David in the kitchen. The buffet was varied and plentiful. Attention to detail was evident in the service provided. Life is wonderful. I discovered a beautiful holiday destination. In summer, it must be truly extraordinary. The accommodations at the sandcastle are also well-suited. Comfortable bedding. Spacious and functional kitchen.
