24/08/2026: Okay, but not exceptional. The setting is pleasant, and we had a good time as a family. We ordered an octopus salad, a Caesar salad, a burger, and chicken and chips. The children's meals were generous and quite satisfying. However, I found the €23 octopus salad rather disappointing for the price: lots of tomatoes and cucumber, but ultimately very little octopus. At that price, I expected a more generous portion and a focus on the main ingredient. The staff was adequate but seemed a bit jaded at the end of the season, which unfortunately somewhat spoiled the experience. In short: a nice setting, but the value for money and the service could be better. Not bad, but not a place that will leave a lasting impression.

26/08/2026: We were very happy with our two meals at this restaurant. A friendly and efficient waitress, a very pleasant and attentive owner, and the food was excellent. A very good restaurant, go without hesitation! A couple from the Pyrénées-Atlantiques (64) on holiday. 🥰

22/08/2026: Very good pizzeria in Chateaulin. It's just a shame my egg yolk arrived cooked on my Royale pizza.

10/10/2025: So no, fine dining shouldn't cost that much. There are incredible restaurants, far better, for €100 per person (the price of the Hinoki menu a few years ago, by the way). I don't know why prices here have gone up so much, but the food, while excellent, doesn't justify it at all. €165 now seems like a rip-off.

30/08/2025: A meal as relaxing as it was soothing, as surprising as it may seem. Excellent cuisine, and a chef who shared his knowledge of Japanese culture with us. In short, a perfect evening, go there with your eyes closed! We sincerely hope to be able to return.

20/07/2026: I had a truly wonderful time at La Boucherie. The meat was of excellent quality, cooked exactly as requested, and the side dishes (homemade fries, sauces) were delicious. The service was efficient and friendly, and the restaurant had a warm and inviting atmosphere, perfect for a meal with friends or family. The price was very reasonable. I highly recommend it!

28/08/2026: Fantastic terrace!! Excellent diabolo, excellent spritz, and excellent Desperados, ice-cold and served with a lemon :) The staff is very friendly, I highly recommend it!!

25/08/2026: If I had to sum up my experience at the bar in one word: DISASTROUS. I came to this establishment for an evening out. Being drunk, I went to the bar to pay for a drink for my friend. A friend of the waiter had ordered at the same time, and he insisted I pay for her. I pointed this out, and the waiter insisted I pay, so they actually charged me for the drink. Beyond the disrespect, I think this practice is illegal, and I intend to file a complaint with the DGCCRF (French Directorate General for Competition Policy, Consumer Affairs and Fraud Control). Shameful, don't go there!

17/08/2026: Avoid at all costs! We waited over 30 minutes for five savory buckwheat crepes (galettes) even though the restaurant was practically empty. Knowing we were expected back an hour later, we asked the waitress to take our second order immediately after the first order. She refused. The quality of the crepes was awful. All five of them were too dry. The sweet crepes were the same story. A dry, unsweetened butter and sugar crepe?! I realized that it's possible to mess up a savory buckwheat crepe in Brittany. Never again.

15/08/2026: Very disappointed. Despite having a reservation, we noticed that the table and chairs weren't ready! The menus brought were stained, and we were seated at an outdoor table at the back of the terrace, in the sun next to an overgrown garden and under the smoke of our neighbors' cigarettes. The bowl was dirty; luckily, we had a glass of water. To be continued... we still hadn't been served after a 45-minute wait... Finally, after an hour and a half, we received a lukewarm green salad and tomatoes with a very dry galette. We didn't finish our plate. The galette with Molène sausage was acceptable. Dessert was a shortened version of mediocre butter and sugar crepes. It's a shame that the service and quality have deteriorated so significantly over time.

01/09/2026: We received a very warm welcome. The owner accepted us even though he was supposed to close for a reception. We ate very well, although the galettes weren't very generous.

08/07/2026: Very friendly and welcoming bar/tobacconist. Thank you for the ice cubes in my water bladder.

05/04/2026: The (generous) grilled platters were excellent! The gratin was superb. Really nice. A tempting selection, a pleasant welcome, and smiling staff. I personally go there regularly. 😊
