12/07/2026: We had reserved a table for six for the all-you-can-eat barbecue on Thursday evening. Upon arrival at the restaurant, we were told that the event was canceled and that no one else had informed us. We were very disappointed. We ordered the set menus, which were still quite expensive. The portions were very average. The wine list was out of date. We asked for three bottles from the list that they didn't have, and they ordered the wrong one. In short, we had heard about the Auberge de la Tour, and obviously, we won't be returning.

02/08/2026: A wonderful discovery that I'm happy to share. A small, friendly restaurant, just the way we like them, with homemade food, very generous portions, and absolutely delicious. Fresh frogs' legs served in a pan with a potato gratin. Numerous homemade desserts (the nougat glacé is divine). As you can tell, I highly recommend it. Open on Sundays.

25/07/2026: A truly delightful time shared with a couple of friends from Bourg-en-Bresse. The owner's warm welcome and impeccable service. A traditional meal with frogs' legs: grilled to perfection! A real treat! Discovered an amazing "non-alcoholic Martini"! A perk of getting older: no more alcohol or fizzy drinks. A friendly and relaxing atmosphere! A must-try if you haven't already!

08/07/2026: Excellent food and great service! Just a bit too long a wait at the beginning, especially since we were pressed for time due to train travel. We should have mentioned it, but we still waited an hour and a half for our starter without having ordered an aperitif.

21/07/2026: Excellent brasserie! The servers were very attentive from the moment we arrived, the cuisine was truly sophisticated yet simple, the vegetables were cooked to perfection (which is rare), and the dishes, from appetizer to dessert, were a delight! Fresh, local produce... it was perfect!

24/07/2026: Such a cozy little restaurant. I was only there for a cup of tea and a delicious piece of rhubarb cake with vanilla ice cream. They only speak French, but are so nice and welcoming and we figured it out with signs and gestures 😊

14/05/2026: A peaceful place far from everything. This was our last stop on the GTJ (Grande Traversée du Jura) for my son and me. The welcome was perfect. We were able to store our bikes safely. We stayed in a small twin room. Everything was clean. Our host was available, welcoming, and kind. We played board games while a storm broke outside. The evening meal was simply delicious! The hearty breakfast was exactly what we needed to set off again in top form. We will return if the opportunity arises.

08/08/2026: On our way to Annecy and needed to stop for lunch. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The waitress was lovely and we enjoyed practicing our best broken French to order from the menu on the board: leg of chicken in supreme mushroom sauce, leg of rabbit and a large salad with cured ham and goats cheese. All delicious. We very much enjoyed it.
