24/11/2025: A truly excellent crêperie, probably the only one in France to offer customers a choice of fillings for their galette. The owner manages both the kitchen and the service single-handedly and does it very well – a big bravo to him! Everything is homemade, and above all, the taste and quality are exceptional. I highly recommend it.

08/01/2026: First and last experience at this restaurant. The food was decent, as were the prices (a crème brûlée at €7.50, though), but the service was unacceptable. There were three of us, and I paid the bill at the end of the meal at the register to a male employee. We stayed a few moments longer to chat, and as we were leaving, a female employee asked me to pay again. "Sorry, ma'am, but I've already paid." "Oh, really?" I asked suspiciously. "Yes, ma'am, here's the bill I paid." Still suspicious and wary, I went to check. "Look, ma'am, to further prove my good faith, I've definitely been charged." After checking, she confirmed that I had indeed paid. It's this woman's manner and suspicion that explain this reproach, as well as her tone and curt reply. And your apologies were grudging. Checking isn't a problem, but the way you treated three people over 55 was inappropriate and unacceptable. Improve communication with your colleagues and don't bother customers who have already paid for their meals. Were you afraid we'd run away and start running, saying we'd already paid? In my opinion, a thief doesn't announce themselves; they make themselves discreet and leave. Good news for the new year: I won't see you again. Other restaurants right next door will be much more welcoming, less wary, and less suspicious. P.S.: It would be wise to repair and fix the sink faucet and clean the toilet bowls. There are many products available to prevent such stains and restore their whiteness. Also, the dining area is quite small, and the tables are too close together. P.S.: My colleague, who came back because he'd forgotten his bag, wasn't suspicious or wary of you when he got it back! He didn't say, "I'll check the contents in case something's missing!"

07/12/2025: I came to this place (just like in Bourg, I think 😂😄) last night for the first time: overall, I was delighted with my visit 🤗🤗🤗 The service was quick, the food was good, in particular. And, a special mention to the waitress's "punchline" (I definitely noted the touch of humor in it, just in case 😄) when I asked her if I could smoke my cigarette (outside, of course 😄) before paying the bill, namely: "No problem: I can run fast 😁" 😂😂👌👌

16/11/2025: A superb discovery! L’Auberge de Thil is a true gem. We had a wonderful time: the welcome was warm, the service impeccable, and the atmosphere very pleasant. The dishes were delicious, flavorful, prepared with quality ingredients, and beautifully presented. You can taste the passion of the chef and the team in every bite. An authentic place where you'll enjoy a delightful meal from start to finish. We highly recommend it.

16/11/2025: The owners welcome you with a smile and serve you delicious dishes, from the amuse-bouche to the delectable dessert. One very minor point, in my opinion, which I didn't dare mention: the starter and main course lacked salt and pepper, perhaps intentionally so you can add your own! But I highly recommend this gourmet restaurant! 👍👍👍

07/10/2025: We got ‘plat du jour’ and it was excellent. The ‘owner’ showed some desert options as we didn’t understand the French explanation. The outside of the building wasn’t impressive, however the inside was really authentic.

22/09/2024: First visit to this establishment which had been so praised to us. A very nice discovery, both for the kindness of the young waiter, the setting and its cozy atmosphere and the deliciousness of this astonishing and delicious cuisine! Just a very small downside which has already been mentioned in other reviews, the price... Well, the quality of the products and the originality of the dishes can justify this but I know of other restaurants in the region in which we eat just as good without having such a busy slate. No problem, I think we'll come back!

13/12/2025: Very good restaurant, the daily menus are very well-prepared and tasty, the service is warm and friendly.

08/11/2025: We received a very warm welcome yesterday from the waiter who took care of our large table. We were disappointed with the meal, particularly the salads (far too much dressing). There was no mention of the dressing, which resembled mayonnaise and is unsuitable for those with egg intolerance. The same goes for the fruit salad; there was no indication that it contained alcohol... and quite a lot of it! We tasted the alcohol more than the fruit. It would be important to mention this when ordering.

25/01/2026: We just discovered this restaurant and were very satisfied with the menu we chose. The frogs' legs were excellent. I highly recommend this place.
