02/08/2026: Back in 2025, we had already made a reservation, but when we arrived, it wasn't what we wanted—mussels and fries—but paella. So we left empty-handed, without any apology from the person who greeted us. In 2026, we booked a table for four for 7 pm. We arrived at 7 pm and left at 10 pm. Luckily, the mussels were fresh, which was a relief being by the sea. For an aperitif, we had bottled sangria; the Lidl brand is even better. The fries were frozen, and as for dessert, let's not even talk about it: a pre-made fruit salad in a bucket that tasted like nothing at all. We couldn't even tell if we were eating fruit or some kind of weird juice. The staff was not pleasant at all. So, if you're thinking of eating there, turn around and leave quickly. Avoid it.

02/08/2026: A very bad experience. We waited almost an hour between ordering and receiving our main course, despite the very high prices. The service was unpleasant and inattentive. A bottle of wine was simply placed on the table, without any tasting or offering of suitable glasses. The cuttlefish was undercooked, and faced with this string of disappointments, we left without ordering dessert or coffee. The value for money was appalling. I strongly advise against this restaurant.

15/05/2026: Les Halles is a hectic venue, but this has been a reliable place for us to get a lunch, enjoy the food and drink, and most of all survey the activity. If you are new to Les Halles, avoid the weekends and ease into the experience. With practice you will be able to enjoy the weekends as well as the locals. :-) Service here is brisk but friendly. When it is time to pay, bring the waiter’s note to the middle of the place, cash only. Someone will have occupied your seats before you get halfway there.

17/07/2026: The owner publicly criticized customers for their "lack of courage" and for not coming to speak to him face to face. After he insulted me for crossing his terrace without ordering anything, I went back to confront him directly. He immediately pretended not to understand and then refused to stand by his words. Courage, apparently, is mainly found in Google search results.

16/07/2026: We ordered two half-pints, and the malicious waitress, "under the pretext of chilling the glasses," served us the first one with two centimeters of water... The owner, sensing our discomfort, rushed over and served the second one himself "without water" to avoid a scene. So be careful, this is common practice in the summer... Poor France!!!

25/06/2026: This is a spacious restaurant with plenty of seating. Nice decor and a well priced and extensive menu. Staff is courteous and friendly. The food is of good quality and quantity wise in line with the fair prices.

19/06/2026: First time in my life I've eaten three bites and left my plate at a restaurant. Disgusting, I could have made it at home, it was so simple. I had to go get a sandwich somewhere else.

19/04/2026: We ate at this establishment today; the welcome was friendly, the service efficient, and the meat delicious, well-cooked, and very tender. You can go there without hesitation.

18/04/2026: Appalling service, neglected welcome, completely disinterested staff who only care about finishing their shift. The food is school cafeteria quality, thanks METRO!! A tourist trap to avoid, unless you enjoy watching waiters sitting on chairs watching you finish your plate while they continue their conversation about the interminable service (at 9 pm on a Saturday night, mind you). You won't be seeing us again, and being from here, you can count on us to spread the word about your deplorable welcome and service.

27/07/2026: Hello I was very disappointed with the lasagna. For the price paid, a higher quality is expected. The amount of béchamel sauce by weight is clearly disproportionate to the total weight. Furthermore, the béchamel was very thick and very peppery. Overall, this results in a product that is not very tasty and does not meet the expectations of a properly prepared lasagna. Don't forget that the béchamel sauce is included in the price of the lasagna. It's a shame.

20/07/2026: What impressed me most was the impeccable cleanliness of the place. Service was provided with gloves, and there was a wide selection of high-quality meats and ham. Numerous prepared dishes were available, each more appetizing than the last. The roast chickens were excellent; the dripping juices served with the roast chicken added a very pleasant touch. The staff was helpful and attentive to customers. I highly recommend it.

01/07/2026: A pleasant experience at La Table de l'Olivier in the Mercure Carcassonne. I was a little disappointed not to have dined on the terrace. It's a hotel restaurant, but one might expect a bit more atmosphere. The chef's cuisine is simple yet delicious. If you're staying at the hotel, don't hesitate; otherwise, there are better options in Carcassonne.

04/06/2026: I absolutely loved my dinner here! The orange-honey glazed chicken breast was a highlight—perfectly cooked, tender, and full of flavor. The melon and ham carpaccio was a great starter, too. I finished my meal with a molten chocolate lava cake that was simply divine. If you’re looking for a great meal in Carcassonne, I highly recommend this place. Truly satisfied! I had the best dinner in Carcassonne! The orange-honey glazed chicken breast was especially exquisite, perfectly cooked and incredibly juicy. The melon and ham carpaccio appetizer was also wonderfully balanced. The molten chocolate lava cake for dessert was rich and a perfect finish. If you’re looking for a great meal in Carcassonne, I highly recommend this place!

09/07/2026: The takeover project seemed promising, as did the visual identity and communication, but it was a huge disappointment when we went. First, we arrived with a reservation, but no server acknowledged us for five minutes, while three of them were simply chatting and laughing, leaning against the bar… Then, I was extremely disappointed with my dish, a grilled duck breast. Since grilled meats are supposed to be the house specialty, I was expecting a delicious meal, but instead, I found a single duck breast sitting in the middle of a plate, with no presentation whatsoever. The duck breast was cold, and when I cut into it, I realized it wasn't even cooked. As a duck breast lover, I know how to cook it properly, and I usually eat it pink, not raw 😅. So I sent it back to the kitchen, and it came back five minutes later, still cold and still raw… a duck breast I couldn't eat, and yet it's sold at a particularly high price. Finally, the room was incredibly noisy; I couldn't hear my neighbor at the table across from me. This brought the disastrous experience to a close… It's a shame to take over such a legendary establishment in the city and do so little with it…

04/07/2026: An unusual place. The tables are set under the large trees on the terrace. A swarm of waiters, dressed in the jerseys of the local rugby club, bustle about efficiently. They are charming and competent. A singer serenades us with a selection of jazz and romantic songs. We ate very well. Unfortunately, we ordered the pavlova. And that's where the trouble started. An industrial meringue with a scoop of sorbet and four slices of nectarine, all for €9.50!!!! What a shame, a real disappointment.

12/07/2026: Watched the Tour de France on television and had a nice beer. When we were there were no snacks.

11/07/2026: Classic! A set lunch menu for €17, main course and dessert. A skirt steak with potatoes and some lettuce (for an Argentinian, it's a treat).

16/01/2026: Excellent place!!! We found this bakery because it's very close to our accommodation, which was very convenient. It's well located and parking is easy in the area, which is a plus. We received excellent service from the very beginning, both friendly and professional. The products exude quality, both in appearance and flavor, and the overall experience was very satisfying. The prices are competitive for the type of product and the location. Without a doubt, it's a place I would return to without hesitation if I were ever in the area again.

10/01/2026: What a disgrace! I came to buy a pan bagnat and a panini. The pan bagnat was flat, with three tiny pieces of chicken barely hanging on. And the panini was dripping with olive oil. I don't recommend it.
